Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 479: Meeting Once More

”Now, while we are on this floor?” Almond asked upon hearing the question.

He thought the Roxenvale familia would want the assimilation when the Regalons reached higher, as that would be more beneficial to them as well.

”Yes. We really don’t mind doing it now.” The Chief of Roxenvale smiled.

”Very well.” Almond nodded and briefly closed his eyes. Concentrating and extracting a bit of his Geneline essence.

Two seconds later, he opened his eyes and stretched his hand as a small mystic orb with eccentric patterns appeared.

Naturally, he and Lily were the progenitors of this Geneline, so all individuals were technically under their authority, and if they wanted to, they could control them.

”Here, this has enough Regalon essence to give ten people the Regalon Geneline.”

The chief of the Roxenvale familia kept his smile and didn’t take the orb. ”Chief Almond, I have a different way of assimilation in mind. You see, I am completely awed by your familia and your power. So, how about we do a complete merge like you did with the Achromatic familia.”

Lily raised her eyebrows. ”Then you do know that everything of your familia will be shared with us, and you will step down from being the chief of the familia because the chief will remain Almond.”

”About that...how about I become chief of the big familia since I am strongest? Of course, Mr. Almond can become the chief later.”

Almond and Lily exchanged glances.

A chief of the familia can put familia rules and laws just like how a progenitor of a Geneline can do to force people to follow the rules.

”No, that’s not possible.” Almond shook his head. ”We were bound to merge eventually, but I will remain the chief.”

Chief of Roxenvale blinked, his brain gears turning fast as he grabbed the orb floating in front of him and smiled. ”Understood. Then I shall start with the small assimilation. Once you have reached the 30th floor, we will do the full merge with you crowning as our chief.”

With that, the Roxenvale familia left the picture, returning to their floor.

Meanwhile, the whole third layer was reeling in shock about the annihilation that Regalons caused.

The recordings spread everywhere as people on higher and lower floors both wondered about the abilities they displayed.

Since everyone displayed the same ability, it was clear that it was a Geneline ability.

[ X-rated Geneline is too op! ]

[ Yeah, what the fuck was that? ]

[ I can’t stop watching it on repeat. Those people just vanished out of existence. ]

[ And they aren’t done yet. What the...]

[ They just launched a war on a familia on my floor! My familia! Sayorana, fuckers! ]

[ Rest in pieces, friend. ]

...

Regalons continued their rush of dominance.

After winning the war against the strongest familia on the 50th floor, and getting their God Essence, they continued to a big event on the floor to earn Trinity Force and God Essence.

There was no suspense in any event or challenge where Regalons went.

Half a month later, Regalons arrived on the 30th floor.

On those twenty floors from 50th to 30th, they earned 98 billion God Essence.

The higher the floor, the more they earned.

The stronger the familia they defeated, the more they earned.

As they arrived on the 30th floor, the average Trinity Force of the Regalons was 15-20k, with only a few hitting 20k due to luck.

Almond’s Trinity Force hit 27k, and Lily was at 30k.

They were still overpowered to be on the 30th floor because of their fast progression.

Almond was finally beginning to feel a faint synergy with the rune of Voiderran he acquired from that mysterious spider entity.

He realized he would need more Trinity Force to start comprehending it as his soul was not yet strong enough to understand it, his body not strong enough to wield it, and his mind not strong enough to comprehend it, and all three of those increased only by gaining Trinity Force.

Lily, who hit 30k Trinity Force, could feel more of Voiderran now.

Both of them spent at least 2 hours daily on Voiderran within Almond’s Spirit Realm.

The 30th floor was a milestone.

From this floor onward, the monsters became significantly powerful than average powerhouses. In terms of stats, the monsters had higher trinity force, so the quality of one’s Geneline, their geno abilities, and their combat ability played a major part in distinguishing those from exceptional to average.

Five days later, Regalons arrived on the 25th floor.

Almond also hit 31k in Trinity Force, and then he felt a stir in the rune of Voiderran.

Resting in their floating estate, Almond and Lily entered the Spirit Realm.

”What’s the matter?” Lily asked.

”I think I’ll have to talk with that entity again,” Almond said as he felt the rune, his expression thoughtful. ”Yeah, I think this is important. The entity wants to relay something to me.”

”Well then, you have to die, darling.” Lily smiled. ”Go ahead.”

”I’ll be back.”

Almond closed his eyes...and died, entering a complete state of death as his soul vanished into the rune of Voiderran.

Complete darkness greeted his consciousness as he connected with the realm of that entity and soon saw the eight eyes glowing.

[ You’re here. Great. ]

”So you indeed called me. What’s the matter?”

[ Something is happening to the Grimworld Tree. The master of this tree did something, and it’s related to the original foundation of this cosmoverse on which this tree embedded its roots. ]

”Oh? What’s happening?” Almond was surprised.

[ I don’t know exactly, but the five origin entities of this world are being forced to strip their powers to be used for some other purpose. This concerns you because you are using two of those five entities’ powers, Oblivion, the maw of the forgotten. And Achromatic, the colorless sovereign. ]

Almond blinked. ”So those two are original entities of this cosmoverse, and not something from Grimworld? I didn’t know that. Will it affect me?”

[ Well, it won’t affect the powers you have developed yourself, but those five are kind of our allies.]

[ So, I think you should gain basic mastery of Voiderran before whatever that’s about to happen happens. I don’t know when it will happen, but I am sure it will happen soon. ]

”Alright. We’ll start prioritizing Voiderran from now on, then. Thanks for the heads up.”

[ By the way, I am seeing you guys, and you are doing pretty well. Pretty awesome, I say. ]

Almond chuckled. ”That’s for sure, and I don’t intend to fail.”

”I am going to fuck this tree upside down.”

[ Great, then you better get Voiderran. Without it, you won’t be able to. ]

”Just watch.”
