Different World Card Master: Change the World with Cards

96: Start rankingAfter one day, the judges had visited all the exhibition halls of the various academies in the four districts: east, south, west, and north.

Each person’s notebook was densely filled with numbers, with each serial number representing a participating cards, followed by each person’s score.

Afterward, the highest and lowest scores would be removed from these scores, and then the average score would be calculated.

This method of calculation eliminates extreme values, making the resulting data more objectively reflect the true level.

Since there were no calculating machines here, manual calculation was required.

Of course, these scores were calculated with the help of assistants, while the judges ate their belated lunch and listened.

One assistant called out the scores, another wrote each person’s score on the large blackboard, a third crossed out the highest and lowest scores, and then two assistants worked together to calculate the average score, ensuring the data was not altered and was accurate.

”cards No. 1: 45 points, 56 points, 39 points, 44 points...”

”cards No. 2: 23 points, 22 points, 20 points, 30 points...”

”cards No. 3: 63 points, 52 points, 36 points, 48 points...”

”cards No. 4: 44 points, 57 points, 43 points, 55 points...”

...After two hours, the judges had long finished their meal.

Four or five blackboards had been used, and these blackboards now covered all four walls.

Looking at the scores on the blackboards, some of the more diligent judges even checked their own scoring notebooks, verified some numbers, and nodded in satisfaction after confirming their accuracy.

In fact, the final result was not a big deal for the judges; it was just a small competition.

However, they knew that this competition was very important for the students.

If they won an award, the students’ cards copyrights would sell for more, and they could also get bonus points for their college entrance examination; the higher the award, the more bonus points they would receive. If they didn’t win an award, some cardss might not sell their copyrights, and they wouldn’t get any bonus points.

Some students might only be one or two points short of getting into a good Higher Academy for their college entrance examination.

Therefore, they were willing to spend a little time checking to avoid mistakes.

”No. 1 average score 49.1 points, No. 2 average score 22.8 points, No. 3 average score 51.6 points, No. 4 average score 53 points... No. 31 average score 23.5 points, No. 32 average score 85.6 points... No. 856 average score 100 points...”

The judges were very surprised to see a score of 100 points, as since the establishment of this Card Innovation Competition, the highest score had only been 96 points. This time, it broke a new record; they hadn’t expected a work to score 100 points.

It was like a gold-tier expert coming to a bronze-tier game to stomp, no, compared to a societal competition, this was still a silver-tier game.

No one had any objection to this score; they all felt that cards No. 856 scoring 101 points would also be fine.

According to the scores, 90-100 points received a First Prize, 70-90 points received a Second Prize, 50-70 points received a Third Prize, and 30-50 points received an Innovation Prize.

Therefore, it also meant that participating cardss with scores below 30 points did not win an award, so a small assistant came forward with a blackboard eraser and wiped away the scores below 30 points.

Thus, more than half of the numbers on the blackboard became blank.

Afterward, the number of awards for each category was counted.

This competition had a total of 18 First Prizes, 185 Second Prizes, 468 Third Prizes, and 1241 Innovation Prizes.

This competition was much better than the previous one. Everyone was very satisfied.
