Different World Card Master: Change the World with Cards

54: Glass product research and developmentAt the Riyao Group headquarters, a group of people gathered on the fourth floor, in the product research and development department today.

”Mr. Fang, these are the products we developed based on Mr. Xu’s thought notes. Please take a look.”

Mao Muling, the team leader of the Riyao Group’s Glazed Glass R&D Department, presented their latest achievements to the general manager.

This department was established the day after the contract with Xu Bai was signed, moving at a very fast pace.

After its establishment, many people from various departments’ veterans wanted to join the R&D department, as new departments often lead to good performance, and who doesn’t want to make money?

The group was also very human-centric, allowing every R&D personnel who wanted to join this new department to conceive a product made of glazed glass and submit an application report.

Then, Mao Muling, with her idea of a colorful glazed glass flower window, became the head of the Glazed Glass R&D Department.

These past few days, Mao Muling, along with ten colleagues from her department, had been developing new products, even losing a lot of hair in the process.

Today was the new product report meeting, and people from various departments gathered here to decide on the main promotional products for the glazed glass series.

General Manager Fang, with his subordinates, looked over the items on the table one by one, occasionally checking the product descriptions in his hand and scoring the products.

First up were the glazed glass flower windows. This product was positioned for high-end clientele, with rich patterns, and could even be custom-designed according to specific needs.

The reason it wasn’t sold to ordinary people was that for their windows, it was generally recommended to use star energy stone for better safety.

Of course, there was also a product suitable for ordinary people: small glazed glass flower window ornaments, which came in twelve fixed patterns.

The second category of products was cups, and the styles of these cups were even more diverse.

There were cups suitable for serving wine, characterized by elegant curves, delicate decorations, and soft colors. The cup body was adorned with patterns like shells and flowers, giving them an elegant shape and a feminine, gentle charm.

There were also cups suitable for tea tasting. These cups were clear and transparent, allowing one to clearly see the tea leaves unfurling inside, making them especially suitable for brewing green tea, herbal tea, and fruit tea.

And there were cups designed with animal-inspired shapes, such as the rabbit cup. The cup body was shaped like a rabbit, with its ears serving as the handle, and details like the eyes and mouth vividly depicted, making it cute and interesting. Initially, it was intended specifically for children, but later, colleagues in the research department also loved it, and now everyone has one.

The third category of products consisted of glazed glass decorations, including earrings, necklaces, bracelets, bag charms, small ornaments, and more.

While looking, they discussed:

”This flower window is really beautiful, but the price seems a bit expensive.”

”It’s the design fee for exclusive designs that’s expensive, and it takes a lot of time to draw the patterns.”

”This cup is more for everyday use, and I feel it’s very suitable as a main promotional item.”

”Yes, it would be very suitable for our daily necessities supermarket.”

”However, we also have cups made of other materials, and many people probably already have them at home, so they don’t necessarily need this one.”

”Then this decoration is better. The flowing, colorful wind chime reflects sunlight and is very striking when placed in a room.”

”Hmm, indeed.”

...Everyone had their own preferences, but most people were relatively objective and rational, scoring the products based on commercial value, demand, and so on.

Two hours later, after removing the highest and lowest scores, and then summing the rest to calculate the average score, and finally arranging them in descending order, the evaluation of the glazed glass series products was concluded.
