Spiritual Energy Revival: Transform Into a Divine Phoenix, Automatically Upgrade

84: Chapter 84 Saber-toothed Tiger! WingsInside the biological laboratory in Jianghai City.

This feather from the Prehistoric White-Feathered Great Eagle revealed information that not only told them how powerful the body of the White-Feathered Giant Eagle was, but it also held a crucial value!

That was the prehistoric DNA contained within this feather!

Ever since spiritual energy substances appeared in the air of Blue Star without warning, organisms across the globe began to undergo subtle mutations.

With the increase in the concentration of spiritual energy, the speed of these biological mutations became faster and faster.

Major powers on Blue Star had already begun conducting experiments on biological research the moment spiritual energy appeared.

A group of leaders from Jianghai City stood outside the biological laboratory, watching what was happening inside through the transparent glass window.

”I didn’t expect Professor Li to be so lucky, to have actually obtained a feather from a White-Feathered Giant Eagle!”

”And I certainly didn’t expect the physique of the White-Feathered Giant Eagle to be this powerful...”

”But it’s a good thing, this way the biological research project will definitely have breakthrough developments!”

”That’s right! Perhaps we’ll be able to unlock the mysteries of spiritual energy!”

The middle-aged Mayor Lin stared intently at the laboratory and nodded at Professor Li.

Inside the biological laboratory, Professor Li felt nervous.

”Hurry up and get ready to continue with the prehistoric gene research project!”

”Understood!”

Before long, as a large number of laboratory personnel busied themselves with operations, a series of data streams appeared on the screen.

These were all extremely complex biological genetic codes.

All data was ready!

Seeing that the preliminary steps were complete, Professor Li took charge himself, using the equipment’s laser cutter to slice that snow-white feather...

Zzz! Zzz! Zzz!

Following a flash of sparks, the feather was finally successfully cut.

The cut feather was quickly placed into a special instrument to begin collecting genetic data...

The technological civilization of this world was far more advanced than in Ye Yang’s previous life, and soon, the DNA coding of this feather appeared before the eyes of the staff in the laboratory.

Looking at the beautiful blue DNA double helix structure, everyone held their breath.

”Let’s begin...”

Another gene chain appeared on the screen, colliding with the blue gene chain...

Finally, under the surprised gazes of everyone, the two gene chains successfully fused together!

”It’s a success!”

”We have created a new species!”

”This will be a starting point in our human history!”

The professors in the meeting room cheered out loud!

The rotating gene chain on the screen that hadn’t collapsed represented a brand-new life being gestated within the genetic instrument.

Having reached this point, the most important part of the plan to gestate new life was considered complete; the next step was to wait for the embryo to develop...

Seeing the leaders outside the biological laboratory leave with satisfaction, Professor Li muttered.

”I didn’t expect the Prehistoric White-Feathered Great Eagle to really have completed the birth of a new species... It’s truly incredible...”

He then gazed at the transparent embryo on the screen, which represented the new life.

”Can we humans really become the creators of life...”

...

In the blink of an eye, three days passed.

The embryo room of the biological research institute was crowded with staff.

”This egg is way too big!”

”It weighs about fifty kilograms...”

”If I hadn’t seen with my own eyes that this egg was born from our hands, I wouldn’t believe that such a giant egg actually exists in the world!”

Before them lay a giant, snow-white egg!

It was the size of several basketballs!

Professor Li, standing in front of the large white egg, pushed up his glasses to hide the shock in his heart.

”It’s truly astonishing. After the embryo absorbed a large amount of spiritual energy, it actually autonomously formed an egg...”

A staff member recording data with an instrument nearby nodded.

”Indeed. Even though the experiment was conducted using the genes of the ancient Saber-toothed Tiger, the life embryo produced an egg, turning into an oviparous form. It seems the genes of the Prehistoric White-Feathered Great Eagle severely influenced the life form of the Saber-toothed Tiger.”

”Originally, the genes of the White-Feathered Great Eagle were used to activate the vitality of the Saber-toothed Tiger’s genes and to supplement the broken DNA. I didn’t expect it to turn out like this...”

A researcher stared intently at the giant egg before them.

”We aren’t going to hatch a prehistoric bird, are we?”

”That shouldn’t be possible. The Saber-toothed Tiger’s genes are dominant; the White-Feathered Great Eagle’s genes are too few and incomplete...”

In their Jianghai City biological research institute, they happened to have the skeleton of a prehistoric Saber-toothed Tiger.

The resurgence of spiritual energy caused the decaying genes of these ancient creatures to actually become active...

Therefore, someone proposed resurrecting these prehistoric creatures to study their reaction to spiritual energy as experimental specimens...

But when they invested resources and a large amount of manpower, they discovered that even though the cells of these ancient creatures became active, they could not be cloned...

The reason was that although these genes were active, they were all missing a part.

It wasn’t until Professor Li brought out the genes of the Prehistoric White-Feathered Great Eagle that the genetic deficiency was supplemented, and ultimately, the embryo successfully gestated into a large egg!

”According to instrument detection, the heat inside this giant egg is gradually rising; it will hatch successfully before long.”

”I’m really looking forward to the life inside the giant egg...”

”I can’t wait to become a Nobel Prize winner in biology!”

”Are you stupid! Biological cloning technology is banned worldwide! If it weren’t for researching spiritual energy, our Daxia would absolutely not be conducting these biological experiments!”

”Uh... I know that, of course, I was just joking. Right now, I can guarantee that all countries around the world are conducting biological experiments, and our Daxia is definitely the first country to revive a prehistoric creature!”

”That goes without saying...”

”The egg moved! Everyone, look!”

With an exclamation, the lively incubation room instantly quieted down, and all the researchers immediately turned their eyes toward the snow-white giant egg in front of them.

They saw the snow-white eggshell shaking slightly...

Thump! Thump! Thump!

A low, rumbling sound came from inside the eggshell, and then the giant egg shook violently!

Crack!

Accompanied by a crisp cracking sound, the snow-white eggshell shattered and fell to the ground.

A cute tiger head poked out from inside, its golden, amber-colored pupils looking around in confusion.

With a leap, it jumped onto the ground.

Opening its two exposed long fangs, it began to eat the snow-white fragments on the ground in large bites.

The incubation room was filled with crisp sounds.

All the researchers were shocked by the scene before them...

This creature that had hatched from the giant egg, apart from its hairless, smooth body that hadn’t grown fur yet, also had two giant, exposed fangs.

It completely matched the restored image of the Saber-toothed Tiger that these zoologists held.

The reason they were speechless and filled with horror was...

This creature that had hatched from the snow-white giant egg actually had a pair of chubby little white wings on its back...
