Special Forces Soldier: Me, the Number One Troublemaker of Wolf Fang

28: Chapter 28 The Iron Fist Gang is having a good time.Kang Lei asked, ”What happened? Tell me in detail.”

His subordinate’s voice was so happy; clearly, something incredible had happened.

”A wealthy man from Tianhai City has donated ten million to our Iron Fist Regiment,” the subordinate said excitedly.

The richest man in Tianhai City donated ten million?

Kang Lei was shocked.

The military does accept donations from society, but a direct donation of ten million was something that had never happened in their history.

Previously, those who donated to the Iron Fist Regiment mostly gave some meat, eggs, vegetables, or daily necessities.

But this time it was different; it was ten million!

Kang Lei stood up with a start. Ten million—what a staggering amount!

”Why did he donate to us?”

Besides being surprised, Kang Lei was very curious.

”The richest man in Tianhai City said that a soldier from our Iron Fist Regiment saved his daughter who had fallen into the water. The soldier seems to be named... Yang Han?”

”Oh, right, Regiment Commander, you should check today’s news. It’s quite the buzz. A soldier saving a woman who fell into the water is today’s front-page headline. The news comments are all praising our Iron Fist Regiment,” the subordinate said.

”Goodness, this kid Yang Han is incredible. He only had one day off, and he went and caused such a stir? He even went and saved someone.”

Kang Lei hadn’t expected it to be Yang Han. He clearly remembered that the New Recruit Company assessment was tomorrow. To make such news right before the assessment—he really had something going for him.

”Regiment Commander, how should we handle this ten million?” the subordinate suddenly asked.

”How else would we handle it? Our entire Iron Fist Regiment is in for a treat. We will definitely improve the food and our living conditions.”

Kang Lei couldn’t help but laugh. Ten million falling from the sky meant the entire Iron Fist Regiment could eat meat and fish for several months, and many old pieces of equipment could be replaced.

All of this was thanks to Yang Han. Kang Lei couldn’t help but sigh with emotion; this Yang Han was truly impressive and a benefactor to the Iron Fist Regiment.

After hanging up the phone, Kang Lei was still very happy.

Even if the Beast Battalion arrived tomorrow and might try to give the Iron Fist Regiment a hard time, he wasn’t worried anymore.

”Tomorrow is the New Recruit Company assessment, and the Marine Corps’ Beast Battalion is about to arrive!”

”Sigh, there will definitely be some sparring then. I heard that those guys from the Beast Battalion are very savage.”

Kang Lei pondered this matter.

Kang Lei thought about the arrangements for tomorrow.

Meanwhile, in another office.

The company commanders of the Iron Fist Regiment’s First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Companies were all gathered in one room, arguing intensely.

The company commander of the Sharpshooter Fourth Company was Gong Jian, so he was there too.

”Regardless, give Yang Han to us. His Physical Fitness is so strong; naturally, he must come to our First Company,” the First Company commander said, slapping the table loudly.

”Bullshit, get lost. He should come to our Tiger 6th Company. Talent like him is very suitable for our Tiger 6th Company. Besides, I think the kid looks good, and my daughter just graduated from college and is single...” the Sixth Company commander said.

”You are truly shameless. How can you use your own daughter as bait?”

”I don’t need anyone else; just let this Yang Han come to our Second Company.”

The six company commanders were in an uproar, like a group of old men haggling at a vegetable market. Gong Jian, caught in the middle, had quite a headache.

Although he was the commander of the Sharpshooter Fourth Company and held the highest status, in terms of seniority, Gong Jian didn’t amount to much.

In the military, seniority is quite important.

Gong Jian said in a deep voice, ”Everyone, Yang Han’s shooting talent is equally impressive. Him coming to the Sharpshooter Fourth Company is the best choice. I have the confidence to train him into the strongest sniper.”

”Little Gong, go play somewhere else.”

The Sixth Company commander snorted coldly, ”What about those guys, Wang Yanbing and He Chenguang? Isn’t their shooting talent also impressive? Let those two go to your Fourth Company, and let Yang Han come to my Sixth Company.”

”Heh, what’s wrong with the Sharpshooter Fourth Company? Do you have more arms and legs than our First Company? If Yang Han comes to our First Company, I can also guarantee to train him into a sniper,” the First Company commander said.

Gong Jian was completely helpless. These old veterans, upon seeing a good seedling, were fighting over him like madmen, as if they were determined to get Yang Han.

It made sense; with someone as exceptionally well-rounded as Yang Han, he was indeed a hot commodity in the eyes of many company commanders. They had to fight for him.

Gong Jian stopped talking. He secretly thought that after the assessment ended tomorrow, he would have a good talk with Kang Lei; someone like Yang Han naturally belonged in the Fourth Company.

Meanwhile.

The Wolf Fang Special Operations Brigade.

In the staff officer’s office of the Wolf Fang Special Operations Brigade, staff officer Fan Tianlei let out a sigh.

”What kind of madness has Old Gao caught? Suddenly adding two months of extra training for himself, saying he needs to prepare for the Red-Blue confrontation exercise in a week?”

Fan Tianlei muttered, ”Fighting an Iron Fist Regiment is like child’s play, isn’t it? What is he doing, adding extra training?”

He didn’t know that under the gaze of Gao Shiwei, Yang Han had defeated Old Gao; otherwise, Fan Tianlei would have definitely scolded him properly.

”Forget it. Extra training is fine; becoming stronger is good for our Wolf Fang.”

”Wait...”

Fan Tianlei thought for a moment, and his eyes suddenly lit up.

If he remembered correctly, tomorrow was the Iron Fist Regiment’s New Recruit Company assessment.

Back then, He Chenguang, Wang Yanbing, and Li Erniu were the three he had personally vetted before letting them enter the Iron Fist Regiment.

He wondered what the current new recruit assessment had developed into.

”Forget it, I won’t go watch the new recruit assessment. I’ll wait until after the Red-Blue confrontation exercise. I want to see how those three perform in the exercise. If they are good, they will naturally join our Wolf Fang. If not, they won’t be qualified to join the Wolf Fang,” Fan Tianlei thought to himself.

Time passed quickly.

In the blink of an eye, tomorrow arrived.

The Marine Corps, Beast Battalion.

Led by Long Baichuan, looking at the group of new recruits—Jiang Xiaoyu, A Gan, Zhang Chong, Lu Yan... these were the most outstanding new recruits of this batch in the Beast Battalion, arguably the most powerful.

Another person was leading the team, the War God of the Beast Battalion, Xiang Yu.

He was an undefeated legend, arguably the Soldier King of the Beast Battalion.

”This time, we are going to the Iron Fist Regiment for a friendly exchange. You must bring out your strongest capabilities; you cannot embarrass our Beast Battalion, understand?”

Long Baichuan shouted.

”Understood!”

Their voices shook the sky. Long Baichuan nodded in satisfaction, then had everyone board the vehicles and head to the Iron Fist Regiment.

Because it was the new recruit assessment, the Iron Fist Regiment did not have training today.

Countless new recruits stood on the training ground, waiting for roll call.

Many people felt uneasy, nervous, and excited.

As a new recruit assessment, this determined their fate, decided which company they would go to, and often determined their own limits.

”Brother Han, you don’t look nervous at all?”

Li Erniu looked at Yang Han, only to see him calm and composed, without any signs of nervousness.

Yang Han laughed. He had even defeated Old Gao before; what was there to be nervous about for a mere new recruit assessment?

Rumbling...

At this moment, the sound of trucks came from afar.
