Special Forces Soldier: Me, the Number One Troublemaker of Wolf Fang

12: Chapter 12 is actually Du Feifei.Lao Hei had been a soldier for over twenty years; he was a soldier worthy of respect.

Yang Han naturally respected him quite a bit as well; usually, clashing with him was merely to gain emotion points.

Now that Lao Hei was in trouble, Yang Han couldn’t just stand by and watch him suffer.

”My Medical Ability is only level 3; it seems I can’t come up with any way to deal with Lao Hei’s knee problem...”

After thinking for a moment, Yang Han said inwardly, ”System, upgrade Medical Ability to level 4!”

”Ding! Spent 300 emotion points, Medical Ability has been upgraded to level 4! Current remaining emotion points: 900.”

Then, a vast amount of treatment information suddenly flooded into Yang Han’s mind. This time, it was mostly about human body research, and at the same time, a new ability appeared.

Acupuncture!

A treatment method instantly emerged in Yang Han’s mind.

That was Acupuncture. Acupuncture could be used to treat Lao Hei’s knee and bring it back to life!

”There’s a way; Lao Hei’s knee can be saved.” Yang Han thought to himself.

Soon, another person appeared at the hospital entrance. It was a middle-aged woman with a slightly frail build, holding an infant in her arms who looked less than six months old.

The middle-aged woman looked anxious. Upon seeing Gong Jian, she trotted over: ”Brother Gong!”

”Sister-in-law.”

Gong Jian’s expression was slightly heavy as he said, ”Lao Hei has run into some trouble. The hospital says the situation is very serious and they need you to sign for it.”

The middle-aged woman’s expression changed.

If they needed her to sign, what kind of massive problem could it be?

It couldn’t be life-threatening, could it!

The middle-aged woman felt dizzy and nearly fainted, so Gong Jian quickly supported her.

Click.

At this moment, the door to Lao Hei’s hospital room opened. Du Feifei walked out and asked, ”Where is his family? Have they arrived?”

”I am, it’s me.”

The middle-aged woman looked at Du Feifei with hope: ”Doctor, what exactly is wrong with my husband!”

”His knee has already become necrotic. He won’t be able to stand up for the rest of his life. By the way, I suggest amputation as the best course of action; otherwise, it will affect other parts of his body,” Du Feifei said.

A bolt from the blue!

It was like a bolt of lightning striking the middle-aged woman’s heart. Heavens, Lao Hei was only forty years old, still in his prime, and yet his legs were ruined, leaving him disabled!

What a massive blow this was for their little family!

And what a massive blow it was for Lao Hei. Lao Hei had a deep infatuation with the military and never wanted to leave for the rest of his life, yet now, because of his damaged legs, he would inevitably have to leave.

The middle-aged woman said tremblingly, ”Doctor, I beg you to think of another way, please think of a way to treat him! Lao Hei has always wanted to stay in the barracks; if he becomes disabled, I’m afraid he’ll have to retire!”

Du Feifei sighed slightly and said, ”I don’t have any other solutions... How about this, I will ask our Dean to come and take a look. If he doesn’t have a solution either, then amputation will be the only option.”

”Okay, okay, thank you, thank you!”

The middle-aged woman held Du Feifei’s hand and said very gratefully.

On the side, Yang Han was just about to stand up, but when he heard the Dean was coming, he couldn’t help but pause his steps. If the Dean had a way to treat him, he wouldn’t need to intervene.

Of course, the reason Du Feifei called the Dean over was actually very simple: she needed someone more authoritative to define the nature of Lao Hei’s ailment.

Du Feifei was a medical school Ph.D.; her qualifications were still relatively junior, but her abilities were strong.

Soon, a man with the rank of Colonel, wearing glasses and with graying hair, walked over.

When Gong Jian, Yang Han, and the others saw him, they immediately saluted: ”Hello, Chief!”

The man nodded and said, ”I am the Dean. I heard from Feifei that this veteran has served for twenty years and has contributed greatly to the motherland and the people. Let me go take a look for you.”

The Dean and Du Feifei walked into the ward together, followed by the hopeful gazes of Lao Hei’s wife and Gong Jian.

However, after the Dean examined Lao Hei’s body, he could only shake his head helplessly: ”It is indeed ruined! And amputation is the best course of action; otherwise... it wouldn’t be good if it affects other areas.”

Du Feifei nodded; she thought the same.

At this moment, a faint voice came through.

”Doc, Doctor, is amputation really my only option?”

This voice was very faint, coming from Lao Hei who was lying on the hospital bed; he had already woken up.

The Dean sighed, ”Yes, there is no other way!”

Lao Hei could only close his eyes; his heart was very heavy, and a bitter trace spilled from the corner of his mouth.

He certainly knew what amputation meant, but now, it seemed he had no choice but to accept his fate.

The Dean and Du Feifei walked out of the room; both of their expressions were quite heavy.

The hopeful gazes of Lao Hei’s wife and Gong Jian also gradually dimmed.

The Dean said in a deep voice, ”That veteran’s injuries are indeed very serious. His knees are ruined, he won’t be able to stand up for the rest of his life, and it is best to amputate!”

”Ah...”

Upon hearing this news, Lao Hei’s wife felt the world spinning; it was as if she were about to faint!

Gong Jian didn’t even know what to say; Lao Hei was going to be amputated, how could he, his partner, not feel terrible?

The other recruits saw this scene and couldn’t bear it either, feeling sad for Lao Hei.

At this moment, a nurse brought over some papers and said, ”Please sign. As for the surgery, there is no time to lose; it is best to perform it now.”

Lao Hei looked at the paper with trembling hands, as if he had forgotten how to read.

She was just about to sign, but a hand stopped her.

Lao Hei’s wife was puzzled and turned to look at the person who had come; it was a young man in a military uniform.

”I have a way to treat Lao Hei!”

As soon as these words were spoken, Yang Han instantly attracted the gazes of everyone present: Gong Jian, the Dean, Du Feifei, including He Chenguang, Wang Yanbing, and other recruits.

Yang Han’s expression was calm: ”There is no need for amputation; I can treat him!”

”Nonsense!” Gong Jian immediately roared, ”Get down!”

Gong Jian also knew the ins and outs; it was Yang Han who had initiated the commotion and challenged Lao Hei to a competition, resulting in Lao Hei ending up like this. Frankly speaking, he couldn’t blame Yang Han; after all, who could have imagined that an obstacle run would end up like this?

However, Gong Jian still held a trace of resentment toward Yang Han in his heart.

Now seeing Yang Han step forward, he roared mercilessly.

Yang Han looked directly at Gong Jian and said, ”Instructor, I really have a way to save him!”

”What way do you have?” Du Feifei frowned slightly, feeling that Yang Han was simply a troublemaker.

The Dean also spoke: ”Young man, this really cannot be treated. If you keep making a scene like this, it will be of no use other than wasting time.”

Yang Han said in a deep voice, ”My family practices traditional Chinese medicine passed down through generations. I know how Lao Hei’s knee should be treated. As long as you prepare Acupuncture for me, I can bring it back to life! If you don’t believe me, I can sign a military pledge!”

”By the way, I also believe we cannot waste time, so it is best to go find Acupuncture for me immediately! Don’t delay Lao Hei’s best treatment time!”
