Special Forces Soldier: Me, the Number One Troublemaker of Wolf Fang

13: Chapter 13: A Miraculous ComebackYang Han’s tone was forceful and resonant, brooking no doubt. At this moment, he didn’t look like a recruit at all, but rather like a commander directing operations with bold confidence!

The hospital director and Gong Jian were both stunned. So confident? And he even spoke of signing a military order; this was no laughing matter!

”Do you know what you are saying? A military order is not something to be spoken of lightly. If you cannot cure him, you will be punished, because there are no empty words in the military!”

Gong Jian stared intently at Yang Han. He didn’t believe Yang Han could save Old Hei, but there was still a glimmer of hope. If he could truly save him and prevent Old Hei from having to undergo amputation, that would be a wonderful outcome!

”I know, that is why I dare to sign a military order. I can save him.”

Yang Han turned his gaze toward Old Hei’s wife: ”Ma’am, are you willing to trust me? I can save him.”

Seeing the incomparable determination in Yang Han’s eyes, Old Hei’s wife’s heart trembled. To have her husband undergo an amputation—how could she accept that! If it were possible to avoid amputation, that would certainly be for the best.

”I… I believe you.” Old Hei’s wife finally nodded. This young man’s gaze was too firm, as if he weren’t just speaking empty words.

At this moment, a cold voice rang out. It was Du Feifei speaking: ”What era is this to still be using Acupuncture? And ’ancestral Traditional Chinese Medicine’? Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners are all scammers. You’re so young, yet you’re already learning from those old charlatans to go around swindling people?”

These words were very blunt. The reason Du Feifei spoke this way was because her family had been swindled by a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner. They clearly would have recovered just by taking medicine at the hospital, but they insisted on listening to some people who claimed to be practitioners, and as a result, they were left with chronic illnesses.

Beside them, the director’s expression shifted slightly. He wanted to say something, but in the end, he remained silent.

Yang Han looked at Du Feifei, ”Do not hinder me from saving a life. Now that even the family member has agreed, stop spouting nonsense here and hurry up and get me some Acupuncture needles!”

Du Feifei’s face flushed with anger. To be reprimanded by Yang Han on her own turf—she really couldn’t stand it.

The director on the side spoke up: ”Feifei, go find the Acupuncture needles. Our hospital does have them.”

Du Feifei glared fiercely at Yang Han. She had to obey the director’s order, so she went.

At this time, Yang Han strode into the ward and immediately saw Old Hei.

Old Hei slowly opened his eyes, looked at Yang Han, and smiled: ”You brat! Truly, the new generation surpasses the old. I’m already old and can’t run as fast as you! You all should just rest well this afternoon. I, Old Hei, am a man of my word.”

Yang Han and the recruits behind him were all somewhat moved. Old Hei was forcing a smile just so they wouldn’t worry.

Yang Han said: ”Resting can wait. I have a way to treat your legs.”

”Huh?” Old Hei was stunned. ”You know how to practice medicine?! Alright, stop spouting nonsense. Hurry back and don’t be an eyesore here; I want to get some rest.”

”Trust me, I can cure you!” Yang Han said directly.

Old Hei smiled and shook his head, assuming Yang Han was just trying to humor him.

Just then, a graceful figure walked in; it was Du Feifei.

Du Feifei was holding a set of Acupuncture needles in her hand. These were a treasure of the hospital and were not used under normal circumstances.

After all, in this era, Acupuncture was only used to treat minor ailments. A serious condition like Old Hei’s knee injury was extremely, extremely difficult to treat.

”I’ve brought them for you. I’d like to see how you treat him.” Du Feifei’s tone was icy.

At this moment, Old Hei’s eyes widened. He realized that Yang Han was actually not joking and really intended to help treat his legs?

”Yang Han, what the hell are you doing?” Old Hei shouted.

Yang Han said: ”Alright, Old Hei, just settle down. We can talk after I’ve treated your legs.”

Then, he spread out the Acupuncture needles, skillfully took one out, and thrust it directly into Old Hei’s knee.

”You…” Old Hei hesitated. Deep down, he absolutely did not believe that Yang Han could practice medicine. How old was he? To know how to treat illnesses—had he started studying medicine from the womb? This was simply too absurd, and he was even using Acupuncture, just like in the movies!

Swish! Quickly, another needle was thrust directly into the knee.

At some point, the director had also walked in. Seeing Yang Han’s practiced technique, his eyes revealed a look of contemplation.

However, Du Feifei remained cold. She was waiting for Yang Han, this charlatan, to reveal his true colors. What era was this to still be using Traditional Chinese Medicine? It was all outdated stuff; Western medicine was the way to go now!

In a flurry of swishing sounds, all the Acupuncture needles were inserted into Old Hei’s knee, and Yang Han exhaled a breath.

”Alright, now just wait. I used these Acupuncture needles to readjust and clear your nerves. In about five minutes, you should be able to stand up.”

Yang Han’s words made Old Hei’s eyes widen. Was this true? Was it really that miraculous?

Du Feifei gave a disdainful snort and said: ”If the best time for the amputation is missed, someone will have to take responsibility.”

Yang Han glanced at her casually and said indifferently: ”There was no need for amputation in the first place. This is such a minor ailment, yet you resort to amputation—how do you even serve as a doctor?”

”You!” Du Feifei glared.

Then she sneered without arguing. Didn’t he say five minutes? It wasn’t a long time, so she would just wait those five minutes and see what happened!

Time ticked by bit by bit. Five minutes passed very quickly.

At this moment, Du Feifei spoke with a sneer: ”Time is up. And then? Can he stand up?! If he can, I’ll take your surname!”

Yang Han didn’t even acknowledge Du Feifei and said to Old Hei: ”Old Hei, stand up.”

”I... can I?” Old Hei spoke with great hesitation.

Yang Han nodded.

Old Hei took a deep breath, threw off the blanket, slowly moved his legs, and then his feet touched the floor.

There was hesitation on Old Hei’s face, but seeing the incomparably firm look in Yang Han’s eyes, he braced himself with his hands and stood up.

Then, his feet stood steadily on the ground. At this moment, Old Hei’s pupils constricted, and his face was filled with wild joy.

”I... I can stand up? I can stand up!” ”Hahaha, I don’t need an amputation! I can stand up!” Old Hei burst into loud laughter. The excitement on his face was evident.

To the side, Du Feifei’s expression froze, and the sneer vanished from her face. Old Hei had really stood up. How was this possible?

Not only her, but even the director looked extremely shocked; he was also very surprised!

Yang Han said: ”Old Hei, try walking a few steps.”

”Good, good, good!” Old Hei nodded excitedly and really started walking, taking several steps around the ward.

Du Feifei was dumbfounded. The words she had just spoken were still fresh in her mind; she had thought Yang Han was a charlatan, that all that nonsense about Traditional Chinese Medicine was just bull, and that Acupuncture was useless.

But now, he had indeed stood up, looking full of vitality as if he had never been injured at all.

Beside them, the director was also extremely shocked, but he immediately said: ”Quick, examine him again carefully to see if there are any issues!”
