Daily Intelligence: Forced to Save the Beautiful President at the Beginning

192: Chapter 193 The Death Order from the ’Bishop’!In an underground base deep within the Atlantic Ocean, a faint blue holographic projection enveloped a circular conference table. The screen continuously played the final scenes of the Jiangcheng court trial—Li Yong being surrounded by a supportive crowd as he walked out of the court, Wang Tianhua’s villa being besieged by reporters, and the K-line chart of Tianhua Pharmaceutical’s stock price plummeting like a waterfall. Every scene seemed to silently announce the total failure of the Tianming Group’s ’Strangulation Plan’.

The ’Bishop’ at the head of the table remained shrouded in a black cloak. His fingertips lightly tapped the tabletop, and his metallic, cold voice echoed in the silent conference room: ”The conventional game ends here.”

The holographic screen behind him instantly switched, popping up the core data page of Li Yong’s anti-cancer formula. The red words ’Priority S+’ were particularly glaring in the darkness.

Eight cloaked figures looked up simultaneously. The ’Knight’ sitting on the right couldn’t help but speak, his voice tinged with a hint of disbelief: ”Bishop, are you saying... we should activate the ’Purge Protocol’? This will completely expose our interference in the secular world! Our previous public opinion and legal tactics could at least be disguised as ’commercial competition,’ but once the ’Purge’ fails, it will attract the attention of Interpol and the Supernatural Regulatory Bureau!”

”Attention?” The Bishop sneered. His gaze swept over the crowd from beneath his cloak with an arrogance that looked down on them like ants. ”A formula that can change the global landscape of anti-cancer drugs, a technology that can break the pharmaceutical monopoly—it is worth us taking this risk. If conventional means can’t defeat Zhang Fan, then we’ll flip the chessboard. Doesn’t he want to protect Li Yong and the formula? I’ll let him watch with his own eyes as everything he wants to protect turns to ashes before him.”

He raised his hand and made a virtual stroke in the air. A holographic document of an encrypted order slowly unfolded. It clearly stated: ’Target: Li Yong (Primary), Zhang Fan (Secondary); Execution Method: Murder by Proxy; Executors: Wang Tianhua, Wang Haoyu.’

”Wang Tianhua is already useless, but he still has one last bit of value.” The Bishop’s fingertip landed on Wang Haoyu’s name, his tone cruel and devoid of any warmth. ”Use his son’s life to trade for the survival of the last of the Wang family bloodline—tell him that as long as he can make Li Yong disappear and make Zhang Fan pay the price, I can guarantee that Wang Haoyu leaves Huaxia alive and give him enough money to squander for the rest of his life. If he doesn’t do it, then both father and son will ’atone’ for Tianming’s mistake together.”

The subordinates fell silent—they all knew that ’keeping Wang Haoyu alive’ was merely bait. Once the mission was completed, the Wang father and son would eventually be ’cleaned up.’ However, for the desperate Wang Tianhua, this was already a ’lifeline’ he couldn’t refuse.

”Send the order.” The Bishop didn’t give them any more time to hesitate. With a light tap of his fingertip, the encrypted order turned into a stream of light and disappeared into the communication port. ”Have the ’Hunter’ squad lie low in Jiangcheng. Once Wang Tianhua makes his move, they will be responsible for ’wrapping things up’—don’t leave any traces related to Tianming.”

”As you command, Bishop.” The eight cloaked figures stood up simultaneously and bowed as they retreated. The conference room fell back into a cold silence, leaving only Li Yong’s photo on the holographic screen, shimmering with an eerie luster under the faint blue light.

In an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of Jiangcheng, the heavy smell of alcohol mixed with the scent of dust, making one’s throat sting. Wang Tianhua sat on the cold concrete floor with a dozen empty wine bottles scattered before him. His phone screen was lit up, displaying the encrypted order sent by the Tianming Group. Every word was like a poison-tipped needle, stabbing into his already battered heart.

”Use Haoyu’s life... for a chance at survival...” he muttered to himself, his finger trembling as it swiped across the screen. His eyes were initially a dead, ashen white, but then a desperate, bridge-burning madness ignited within them. In his life, he had climbed from a small procurement officer to the chairman of a multi-billion dollar group; he had never relied on kindness, but on ruthlessness—ruthless to others, and even more ruthless to himself. Now that Tianhua was gone, his reputation was gone, and even Tianming was going to abandon him, the only thing he could do was drag Zhang Fan and Li Yong to hell with him!

He suddenly grabbed his phone and dialed Wang Haoyu’s number. The phone rang for a long time before it was picked up, and Wang Haoyu’s drunken voice came through: ”Dad... what is it now? The police are almost here, we should just run...”

”Run? Run where?” Wang Tianhua’s voice suddenly became sharp, like a beast whose tail had been stepped on. ”You think everything will be fine if you run? Zhang Fan destroyed our company, Li Yong destroyed our reputation. They are in their glory right now, and what about us? Hiding in a warehouse like stray dogs, waiting to be caught by the police, waiting for bankruptcy liquidation!”

On the other end of the line, Wang Haoyu flinched at the scolding, mostly sobering up from his drunkenness. His voice carried a sense of grievance: ”But... but we can’t beat them... they have legal teams, media, and so many people supporting them...”

”Can’t beat them?” Wang Tianhua sneered, his tone full of malicious incitement. ”Who said we’re going to ’fight’ them? We’re going to ’perish together’ with them! The Tianming Group said that as long as you can make Li Yong disappear and make Zhang Fan pay the price, they will get you out of the country and give you a hundred million! A hundred million! Enough for you to live a good life abroad forever and never have to deal with this mess again!”

He paused, lowered his voice, and spoke in an almost seductive tone: ”Think about it, how did Li Yong ruin your affairs back then? He saved Xiaoya and made you lose all face in the village. And how did Zhang Fan treat you? He had you arrested by the police at the birthday banquet, making you the laughingstock of all Jiangcheng! Our father and son falling to this state today is all thanks to them! Don’t you want revenge? Don’t you want them to taste the feeling of having their families destroyed?”

The breathing on the other end of the line gradually became heavy. Wang Haoyu’s voice changed from grievance to teeth-gritting hatred: ”I do! Of course I do! But... but how do we get revenge? We don’t even dare to step out the door right now...”

”I have a plan.” Wang Tianhua’s voice became cold and firm. ”I’ve already prepared ’something’ for you. You just need to..., and our revenge will be complete!”

He deliberately concealed the truth that ’Tianming wouldn’t actually protect Wang Haoyu,’ only pouring the flames of revenge into Wang Haoyu’s heart: ”This is our only chance! Either revenge, or go to jail together! Which one do you choose?”

In the warehouse, Wang Haoyu gripped his phone tightly, his nails digging deep into his palm. Blood flowed through his fingers, but he couldn’t feel the pain. He looked at the scattered wine bottles on the floor, remembered his past days of spending money like water, remembered the humiliation of being taken away by the police at the birthday banquet, and thought of his current pathetic state of hiding like a rat. All fear and cowardice were swallowed by hatred at this moment.

”Fine!” he roared, his voice as manic as a demon’s. ”I’ll do it! Dad, send the plan over! I want Li Yong to die! I want Zhang Fan to die! I want them all to pay the price for what happened to our Wang family!”

After hanging up the phone, Wang Tianhua looked at the ’Plan Sent’ notification on his phone screen, a tragic smile curling at the corner of his mouth—he knew he was pushing his son into hell, but he had no way back. Either drag his enemies down with him, or be destroyed along with his son; he chose the former.

Back in the abandoned warehouse, Wang Haoyu opened the plan document sent by his father, the screen’s light reflecting on his distorted face. He clutched his hair with both hands, roaring crazily: ”Zhang Fan! Li Yong! I want you dead! I want you to be buried with me!”
