Daily Intelligence: Forced to Save the Beautiful President at the Beginning

152: Chapter 152 Cloud Rising Singularity Finalizes European and American CooperationOn Friday morning in the Singularity Technology conference room, sunlight filtered through the blinds, weaving a dense web of light that fell upon the spread-out cooperation proposal.

The three brothers, Lu Qingping, Lu Qingan, and Lu Qingyan, sat on one side, while Zhang Fan, Zhou Yurou, and Liu Ruyan sat opposite them.

Lin Wanyi sat in the middle, acting as a gentle bridge that eased the previous tension between the two groups.

”Our core request is clear,” Lu Qingping said, taking the lead.

He tapped his finger on the ”Cloud Service Support” clause.

”Likely Yunqi Technology can provide exclusive nodes for the European and American servers of star path: reboot. We can keep latency within 50 milliseconds and offer free access to our user profile database to help you precisely target the preferences of European and American players—but in exchange, we need to participate in the overseas adaptation of the Star Core Engine to ensure compatibility between the cloud service and the engine.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Liu Ruyan immediately frowned.

”Mr. Lu, the core code of the Star Core Engine is the highest secret of Singularity. Participating in the adaptation means opening up some underlying interfaces, which poses a risk of technical leakage. Polaris previously tried to obtain core data through technology transfer, and we cannot take that risk again.”

Lu Qingyan adjusted his glasses, his tone calm but carrying the rigor of a technician.

”We only need the ’adaptation interface,’ not the core code. I can provide Likely Yunqi Technology’s ’Secure Sandbox’ technology. All adaptation work will be conducted in a closed environment, and once finished, we will immediately destroy the interface permissions, leaving no trace behind.”

He opened his laptop and pulled up a demo video of the sandbox technology.

Blue code streams cycled within a virtual container, and no data could be read from the outside.

”This is security technology we developed for financial clients. The encryption level meets international standards, and it will absolutely not leak any information about the Star Core Engine.”

The conference room fell into a brief silence.

Zhang Fan tapped his fingers lightly on the table, his gaze sweeping over the ”European and American Market Promotion” section of the proposal.

The [Follow-up Intelligence Chain] after the system upgrade suddenly popped up, with light blue text clearly emerging:

[Urgent Intelligence: Polaris Capital has contacted three European and American game publishers, using ”exclusive agency” as bait to prevent them from cooperating with Singularity; at the same time, ”Xingyao Entertainment,” a subsidiary of Polaris, is acquiring a small European cloud service company with the intention of cutting off alternative overseas server channels for star path.]

Zhang Fan felt a chill in his heart.

Polaris was trying to block Singularity’s overseas retreat.

If they couldn’t reach a cooperation agreement with Likely Yunqi Technology as soon as possible, the European and American launch plan for star path: reboot would likely fall through.

He looked up at Liu Ruyan and signaled to her with his eyes.

”Director Liu, is the Secure Sandbox technology from Likely Yunqi Technology feasible?”

Liu Ruyan quickly browsed the technical documentation provided by Lu Qingyan, her fingers typing a few lines of code on the keyboard to verify.

”From a technical standpoint, the sandbox can indeed isolate risks, but it requires our technical team to supervise the entire adaptation process. We must also sign a strict non-disclosure agreement, specifying that if any leak occurs, Likely Yunqi Technology must bear full liability for damages.”

”No problem!” Lu Qingping agreed immediately.

”We can modify the non-disclosure agreement according to your requirements. During the adaptation process, your technical team can be present the entire time, and Likely Yunqi Technology will absolutely not interfere.”

Lu Qingan, who was sitting next to him, suddenly interjected, his tone carrying a hint of excitement.

”I have another suggestion! Isn’t Wanyi going to sing the theme song for star path? I can use my connections to have the theme song released simultaneously on several mainstream European and American music platforms. I can also invite a Hollywood director to shoot the music video and promote the game at the same time—I am very close with the assistant director of Fast & Furious, and he is very interested in Eastern game themes!”

Lin Wanyi’s eyes lit up.

”Really? If we could shoot a music video that blends Eastern Wuxia with Western fantasy, it would definitely attract more overseas players!”

She turned to look at Zhang Fan, her eyes full of anticipation.

”Mr. Zhang, is this plan feasible?”

”Of course it’s feasible!” Zhang Fan nodded with a smile.

”Music is a cross-cultural language. Using the theme song to open up the European and American markets, combined with the server support from Likely Yunqi Technology, star path will have double protection for its overseas launch.”

Zhou Yurou took the opportunity to add, ”Then we can adjust the ’cooperation revenue sharing.’ We can change the cloud service fee for Likely Yunqi Technology from a ’fixed fee’ to a ’revenue share,’ with 3% of the European and American market revenue serving as the cloud service remuneration; as for the promotional resources from the Best Actor, we will pay at market price, but we can offset part of the cost with ’game IP collaboration,’ such as adding a ’custom character for the Best Actor’ in star path to increase the Best Actor’s overseas exposure.”

This proposal made both sides’ eyes light up.

Lu Qingping did the math.

Although revenue sharing was not as stable as a fixed fee, if star path became a hit in Europe and America, the 3% share would likely far exceed the fixed fee.

Lu Qingan, on the other hand, was more interested in the ”custom character,” which would allow him to expand from being a ”Best Actor in the entertainment industry” to an ”IP in the gaming world,” adding another path for development.

”Let’s go with Ms. Zhou’s proposal!” Lu Qingping made the final decision.

”We can send over the draft of the non-disclosure agreement and cooperation contract today. We will officially sign next week and strive to complete the server adaptation by the end of the month, so we can start the warm-up for the European and American markets next month.”

Zhang Fan extended his hand.

”Happy to cooperate!”

Lu Qingping shook his hand with a sincere grip.

”Happy to cooperate! By the way, there is one more thing—Qingyan has been tinkering with a technical project in private for the past two years and hasn’t found a suitable partner. Just now, hearing you talk about the AI capabilities of the Star Core Engine, he felt that maybe it could spark something with Singularity. Since we have the opportunity today, he wants to talk to you about it.”

Everyone’s gaze turned toward Lu Qingyan, who had been quiet all along.

He adjusted his glasses, took a silver USB drive from his black laptop bag, and placed it gently on the table.

The words ”TCM AI” were engraved on the surface of the USB drive.

”This is a ’TCM AI-assisted diagnostic system’ that I have been developing in private for three years. It can use images and data of tongue and pulse conditions to quickly match symptoms from the Compendium of Materia Medica and the Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon. Currently, the accuracy rate can reach 89%, which is three times more efficient than traditional manual diagnosis. It can also automatically generate prescriptions and mark contraindications for specific groups.”

He paused, his tone becoming more serious.

”When I was looking for investment last month, people from Polaris Capital approached me, saying they were willing to pay 50 million USD to buy out all the copyrights. They also required me to delete all research and development records and even asked me to join their overseas laboratory to modify the core algorithm into a ’Western medical system adaptation version’—I always felt something was wrong, so I didn’t agree.”

Zhang Fan’s fingertips paused slightly—the [Follow-up Intelligence Chain] after the system upgrade had just popped up a relevant fragment last night: [Polaris Capital has acquired/destroyed 6 top Chinese technology companies in the past three years, involving chips, AI medical care, and new energy fields].

However, he could not reveal the existence of the system and could only pretend to hear this for the first time, his brows gradually furrowing.

”Why would they want to buy out the copyright and delete the records? This does not fit the logic of normal investment.”
