Chapter 397: Chapter 397: March 7th in the World Beyond the Heavens

”Lygus······”

Dan Heng silently repeated the name. Actually, even before Castorice said it, he had vaguely guessed this answer.

He had not forgotten that this was Amphoreus’s ”administrator.”

He also had not forgotten that this was an artificially developed data world. Whether it was Castorice before him or this magnificent holy city Okhema, everything was just a cluster of electrical signals simulated by a computer.

After a day of exploration, Dan Heng had gained a brand-new judgment about Amphoreus: This place was vastly different from the ”data worlds” he had seen in the archives before.

For example, the hacker paradise ”Punklorde” was also a data world, but compared to Amphoreus, the two had completely different styles.

That Lygus······ to be honest, Dan Heng’s intuition always felt that this person was not quite right.

”Alright, I understand.” Dan Heng nodded. ”Thank you. I will go ask him for clarification.”

—Bang!

At this moment, Stelle beside them suddenly face-planted onto the table, a silly smile still hanging on her face. ”I’m drunk······ Dan Heng, Old Sunday, escort me back to the palace to sleep~”

Castorice was somewhat surprised: ”Eh? You finished such a big barrel of wine so quickly? Miss Stelle is really······ thirsty.”

Stelle hummed and mumbled: ”I··· thought it was······ grape—juice, hic~”

Castorice cleared her throat lightly and said: ”Everyone, I just heard Phainon say he went to handle the matter with teachers Aglaea and Anaxa. He probably hasn’t prepared resting rooms for you yet, right?”

Dan Heng: ”···Indeed. Would Miss Castorice be willing to help? We would be extremely grateful.”

Castorice shook her head: ”Preparing rooms is Lord Phainon’s task. It wouldn’t be appropriate for me to interfere. However, I have a suggestion.”

”Actually··· my house is quite big. Since Miss Stelle has drunk too much, why don’t she stay at my place first? How about it? It’s just for one night’s sleep anyway?”

Dan Heng thought for a moment and still nodded: ”Sorry to trouble you. Thank you, Miss Castorice.”

”······”

—”What?! How can that be allowed?!”

In a place where Dan Heng and the others could not hear, an angry voice rang out.

·····

Some time earlier, on the other side.

Astral Express.

March 7th lay against the window, staring longingly at the Möbius ring in the vast starry sky. She couldn’t help licking her lips: Being separated from Stelle feels so uncomfortable!

This separation was different from before: In the past, even when they were apart, March 7th knew she could use the power of [Trailblaze] to reach Stelle’s side at any time. But that place called ”Amphoreus” had no ”Domain Anchor.”

If she wanted to see Stelle again, those three would have to plant a ”Domain Anchor” in Amphoreus first. But getting permission from the local civilization would probably take quite some time.

”Forget it, video calls are fine too···” March 7th muttered to herself as she tried to video call Stelle, but the feedback on her phone was beyond her expectations: The user you are calling is not in the service area.

March 7th subconsciously furrowed her willow-leaf brows: ”How could this be?”

With the company’s current 15G network, it could achieve full star domain signal coverage, and the star domain where Amphoreus was located was indeed within the company’s network coverage. How could this happen?

Thinking of this, March 7th hurriedly rushed out of her room to find Welt. Her tone was somewhat anxious: ”Uncle Yang, I can’t contact Stelle and the others.”

After listening to March 7th, Welt adjusted his glasses, first tried calling Stelle and the other two himself, and also received no response. He pondered for two seconds and said: ”It might be that some special magnetic field in this world is blocking the signal.”

”During past Trailblaze expeditions, such things have happened before.”

March 7th: ”B-But what if they encounter danger? What if the moment they entered Amphoreus they were shot down as unidentified flying objects and then captured by local NPCs as emergency rations?”

”What if someone among those NPCs covets Stelle’s beauty and takes advantage of her while she’s vulnerable?”

”If that happens? I don’t even dare to imagine how much pain and fear Stelle would feel. I wish I could fly to her side right now.”

Welt: ······

So you remembered the Penacony script again? Welt silently sighed in his heart and said: ”···March, aren’t you worried about Dan Heng and Sunday at all?”

March 7th was stunned for a moment and said: ”Of course I’m worried, but right now I can’t do anything. Worrying blindly will only throw myself into chaos, so it’s better to calm down first and think of a solution, right?”

”Besides, Dan Heng has always had a tough life, and Sunday even survived in that broken place Penacony. What’s there to worry about?”

Welt fell silent for another two seconds: ”Then what if Stelle is fancied by the local girls······”

March 7th immediately said: ”Uncle Yang, you also think this is super serious, right!! Stelle is our··· cough cough, the precious passenger of the Astral Express! How can she be taken away by outsiders?!”

”What if Stelle is fed an aphrodisiac from XX Potter by the locals? What if Stelle decides to stay there forever and never comes back?!”

Welt: ”Wait, March, the possibility of that is too small. Not to mention Sunday is there, you just said we can’t lose our composure······”

”Right! Sunday! There’s still Sunday!” March 7th was already completely ignoring Welt’s words. She muttered to herself: ”I didn’t agree with letting this guy board the train in the first place. It’s basically inviting a wolf into the house. We’ve raised a ghost and don’t even know it!”

”Looking at it this way, Stelle’s journey in Amphoreus is full of crises. One careless move and she’ll fall into someone else’s trap. No no no, this is too dangerous······”

”I must go save Stelle. I must go save Stelle······”

With that, March 7th no longer paid attention to Welt and ran alone toward the ”hangar car.”

That was the car specially used by the Astral Express to park ships.

Watching March 7th’s departing back, Welt helplessly shook his head: ”Sigh, young people are just impatient. Speaking of which, March wasn’t like this before······”

”Forget it, let her be. I’ll continue playing currency wars.”

Tap tap tap······

As a result, less than two minutes later, March 7th came running back: ”Uncle Yang! The conductor disabled my operation permissions. I can’t pilot the ship!”

Welt: ”···There’s nothing that can be done about that. Although Pom-Pom usually likes to joke, the rules on the train are its bottom line.”

”It definitely won’t let you run off easily. March, you need to steady your mindset first. Those three all possess outstanding skills and won’t get into trouble so easily.”
