What if your Honkai Star Rail was like this?

Chapter 355: Chapter 355: I Want to Eat Fish

Rumble—

”Tear~ Form~ Liberate~”

Accompanied by solemn and deafening BGM, the entire Scalegorge Waterscape began to tremble slightly. The seawater parted to both sides, revealing flight after flight of stairs and the underwater ruins that had been hidden beneath the sea for many years.

An underwater dragon palace was thus revealed to the world!

[Hysilens: So this is... the sea I saw back then? Compared to Styxonia’s currents, the scent and freedom here are not inferior in any way.]

[Cerydra: Sword-Flag Lord, you like this sea? (tilts head) If you like it, I can find a way to get it for you. After all, you have followed me for a thousand years with great merit, and Caesar will never treat any of her followers unfairly.]

[Dan Heng: ...Lady Caesar, please think thrice. Scalegorge Waterscape is a vital territory of the Xianzhou. The Xianzhou Alliance probably won’t allow other forces to encroach upon it.]

[Cerydra: Hmph. So-called ”principles” and ”bottom lines” are nothing but excuses when there isn’t enough benefit. If there really is enough benefit placed in front of them, there’s no need for the Xianzhou Alliance higher-ups to agree — these Xianzhou themselves would probably take the initiative to offer up this vast ocean with both hands.]

[Luofu Dragon Masters Official: If you can make Lord Dan Heng give birth to a child, then even if we have to offer up the entire Scalegorge Waterscape with both hands, we will have absolutely no objections.]

[Dan Heng: ...]

The Dragon Masters’ words sounded like a joke, but in reality it was killing two birds with one stone.

First, if they could enable the Xianzhou race to reproduce, it would be a feat that completely broke through the underlying code of the [Permanence] Path. It would be a huge ”from zero to one” breakthrough for all dragon descendants in the universe. Compared to that, a so-called ”Xianzhou holy land” really didn’t amount to much.

Second, it was well known that both the previous Xianzhou Dragon Lord Dan Feng and the current Nameless Dan Heng had grudges with the Luofu Dragon Masters. The latter’s words were probably also meant to retaliate and disgust Dan Heng.

However, Cerydra had no intention of going along with the Dragon Masters’ words.

With her domineering personality, she naturally said whatever she disliked.

[Cerydra: Hmph, joke. Sacrificing your own clansmen for the continuation of a nearly cowardly race? No wonder you couldn’t get along with the previous Dragon Lord. If it were me, I wouldn’t look favorably upon you either.]

[Luofu Dragon Masters Official: You! This is the public comment section. What do you mean by saying such things? Trying to stir up trouble? Don’t forget your identity — you still represent the world behind you!]

[Cerydra: Stir up trouble? Heh, just a few little dragons. You think you’re worthy?]

[Luofu Dragon Masters Official: You! You’re exactly the same as that scoundrel Dan Feng! Just you wait!]

[Cerydra: Tsk... Sword-Flag Lord, I want to eat fish.]

[Hysilens: Received.]

[Jing Yuan: Everyone, let’s talk nicely...]

—”Old thief Jing Yuan! There are some things I’ve wanted to say to you for a long time! You old fox!”

At this moment, a clear voice suddenly rang out. The camera shifted, revealing that Yanqing had actually appeared on the stone steps of the Scalegorge Waterscape ruins. Behind him surged cyan-green flames — it was obvious he was being controlled by a Heliobus.

Everyone was puzzled: Hm? What’s going on? What kind of plot development is this? This doesn’t seem to match the original plot?

At this time, the color of the screen turned gray, entering a flashback patch: It turned out that the reason Yanqing had become a good-for-nothing over the past three years was entirely because the Lord Ravager Phantylia had been secretly draining his vitality. Now that Phantylia had revived, she controlled Yanqing and brought him to Scalegorge Waterscape, wanting to use this to create a physical body.

At this moment, the controlled Yanqing stared straight at Jing Yuan with the expression of a pure maiden who had been deceived by a scumbag, and accused: ”Back then, I heard that you studied under the previous Luofu Sword Champion and learned the ’Hundred Resistances’ technique, with divine strategy and calculation that no one could rival. That’s why I came to apprentice under you.”

”But only now do I realize that it was all fake, all fake! You just wanted to cheat me out of my apprenticeship fee, right?! Answer me! Look in my eyes!”

[Jing Yuan: ??? Why is there something about me again?]

After watching for so long, Jing Yuan gradually realized something was off: Why did he have so many scenes in this universe? In the Xianzhou plotline, it seemed like every character who appeared had some connection to him. Had the him in this universe really retired?

Although under normal circumstances Jing Yuan wouldn’t care about his image in fan creations, that was under normal circumstances.

If he had only heard about it without seeing it, Jing Yuan might have just chuckled, sighed ”So young people nowadays like making fan content about me,” and continued drinking tea indifferently.

But now he was watching it, and it was very likely that the entire galaxy was watching together. In that case, even if Jing Yuan wanted to not care, it probably wouldn’t be that simple.

[Yanqing: The me from another universe... is truly treasonous! How can he slander the General like this? Were those words just now not facts?]

While the original universe’s Yanqing questioned it, the viewing Jing Yuan spoke up. With a pained and heartbroken expression he said: ”Yanqing, which of these things did your master fabricate? If you don’t believe it, you can go to the relevant departments to verify!”

Yanqing shook his head: ”Hmph, why go through so much trouble? I already discovered the problem long ago!”

”Jing Yuan! You say you studied under the Luofu Sword Champion, so why do you use array blades?”

Yanqing’s single sentence left Jing Yuan speechless.

Jing Yuan thought for two seconds and said: ”There are thousands of martial arts in the world. I simply learned one more. Is there a problem?”

Yanqing: ”The problem is huge! This proves you are a disloyal, unrighteous, unfilial, and shameless person!”

Jing Yuan: ”Yanqing! You’re really hurting your master’s heart! Speak properly today — how exactly am I disloyal, unrighteous, unfilial, and shameless?”

Yanqing sneered: ”First, Ancestral Master was clearly a sword cultivator, yet you abandoned the teachings of your sect and turned to practicing array blades. Isn’t that disloyal?”

”Second, the practice of array blades is even stronger than sword dao. This shows you lack loyalty, you put the cart before the horse and completely rebel. Isn’t that unrighteous?”

”Third, so-called ’one day as master, a lifetime as father.’ You abandoned your father. Isn’t that unfilial?”

”Finally, not only did you betray Ancestral Master, you even used her name to recruit disciples. Isn’t that shameless?”

[Jingliu: Haha... I see that the little brother in this universe has better aptitude and talent. What a pity...]

[Yanqing: Big Sister! Don’t listen to my other self’s nonsense! The General’s filial piety toward you is absolutely unquestionable! I once secretly saw him pay respects at your memorial tablet. He cried so sorrowfully!]

[Jing Yuan: ???]

[Jingliu: Oh? Then I should be happy. I don’t have to worry about having no place to be buried after I die.]

[Jing Yuan: Yanqing, don’t talk nonsense!]

[Blade: Hm? Kid, what did you call Jingliu? Big Sister? Pfft—]

[Silver Wolf: Ohhh! Blade encountered something interesting! He actually said so many words!]

[Blade: Do you know that old woman’s age is enough to be your great-great-grandmother’s great-great-grandmother?]

[Yanqing: O-Of course I know. After all, she is Ancestral Master. It’s normal for her to be older...]

[Jingliu: Blade, next time we meet, I’ll give you another sword. Don’t forget.]
