What if your Honkai Star Rail was like this?

Chapter 387: Chapter 387: First Meeting with Phainon

After hearing Lygus’s words, Stelle’s expression was like:

You’ve got to be kidding me!

How is it your turn to say that?! It should clearly be Phainon, Snowy!

What are you trying to do, Lygus?! Is Amphoreus going to be finished?!

Seemingly sensing the stormy waves already surging in Stelle’s heart, Lygus immediately looked at her with concern. ”Lady from beyond the sky, are you alright?”

”There seems to be something very interesting on you?”

Lygus stroked his chin. ”It’s actually a Stellaron... Ah, sorry, that was a bit rude. No need to worry, I don’t mean anything else by it.”

Stelle swallowed hard. Just as she was about to say something, Sunday spoke up. ”The script? How much would it cost for us to write it ourselves? Credits are not an issue.”

Lygus spread his hands regretfully. ”I’m very sorry, but this epic performance has already begun its calculations. The script cannot be changed... Of course, before the next story begins, I will seriously consider this request.”

”Now, please listen to your [script]: You are travelers from beyond the sky who have strayed into Amphoreus. You encounter crisis here and, while making contact with the locals, try to reach out to your companions from beyond the sky.”

Lygus pointed at the road ahead. ”You will walk along this path and meet the first companion of this world.”

”As for me, I am merely an insignificant audience member in Amphoreus. Please remember my ’setting’ and don’t let it slip.”

Stelle raised an eyebrow in slight surprise. ”You plan to walk with us?”

This... this doesn’t seem right?

Lygus nodded. ”Correct. After all, having a role in one’s own script is also a form of enjoyment.”

”If there are no other questions, then let us begin the first act of the eternal land.”

[Mysterious Narrator of the Honkai: Star Rail World: And so, under Lygus’s lead, our protagonist began her wondrous adventure in Amphoreus.]

—”Lygus! Lygus!”

As the four walked along the road ahead, a sudden unfamiliar shout rang out. Hearing this voice, Stelle froze for a moment and felt an urge to cry.

This voice... it’s Snowy! Thank goodness, Snowy is still here. Lygus didn’t take Snowy’s script!

My Phainon, wuwuwu... You’re finally here, wuwuwu...

Wait... something seems off? What was Snowy shouting just now? Lygus?

Why is Snowy calling Lygus’s name? Could this version of Amphoreus have advanced the plot, and Snowy has come to hunt down Lygus?

If that’s the case... then won’t our group be mistaken by Snowy as Lygus’s accomplices? Ah— Stelle understood: Damn you, Lygus. No wonder you were so kind-hearted. You actually wanted to drag us into the water!

While Stelle was pondering this, Phainon’s shouts grew closer. Finally, at the end of the road ahead, a tall and straight figure ran out from around the corner.

White hair, blue eyes, a long robe... exactly the same as in her memories, just like their first meeting.

”...Everyone, pay attention. He is the first companion you will meet.” Lygus lowered his voice to remind them. ”Please act naturally and show some proper spirit.”

—”Ah, Lygus, so you’re here!”

Phainon’s face lit up with joy the moment he saw Lygus. He strode forward and gave the latter a big hug. ”Whew—you where did you run off to? The area around Janusopolis is full of Nikador’s followers. You suddenly disappeared and had me worried for a while.”

Lygus smiled and patted Phainon’s shoulder. ”I deeply apologize for worrying Lord Phainon... Please rest assured, it won’t happen next time.”

Phainon: ”Haha, don’t be so serious, partner. Anyway, it’s good that nothing happened. Otherwise Lady Tribbie and the others wouldn’t let me off.”

Lygus: ”To have a demigod care so much, I am truly flattered.”

”······”

Watching the two of them chatting and laughing, Stelle subconsciously held her head. Her expression was like:

—You’ve got to be kidding me?! What are you even saying?!

Even in the original 33,550,336 loops, this scene probably never happened, right?!

Snowy, hurry up and use your ”stealing the show”!

”Eh? Are these the civilians you found in the Abyss?”

Only then did Phainon turn his gaze toward Stelle and the other two. He stroked his chin and said with some confusion, ”However, judging from your attire, you don’t seem like residents of the Abyss.”

”Could it be... you are the ones who just fell from the sky?”

Stelle and Dan Heng exchanged a glance. Stelle spoke up. ”Y-yes, that’s right. We are interstellar travelers who strayed into Amphoreus. Unfortunately, we encountered an attack from an unknown force midway and crashed here. We nearly lost our lives.”

”Attack...” Phainon repeated the word, his expression turning serious. ”So that explains why large numbers of Titan followers have appeared nearby... Esteemed guests, if you don’t mind, please travel with us for now.”

”We are the rescue team from the [Holy City] Ochema, here in the Abyss to save trapped refugees. My name is Phainon. Nice to meet you, please take care of me.”

Phainon naturally extended his hand toward Stelle.

”My name is Stelle. These two beside me are my companions, Dan Heng and Sunday. Nice to meet you...” Stelle shook hands with Phainon and forced a rather strained smile.

—Why do I feel like I’m more of a third party than Lygus?!

Everyone used to joke online that Cyrene stole Phainon’s Trailblazer, but why is Lygus stealing the Trailblazer’s Phainon right now?!!

·····

”You... are people from beyond the sky?”

After being brought to the group of refugees, Stelle met the second Golden Descendant she encountered in Amphoreus.

However, it was not Tribbie, but a certain blind romantic lady.

”Um... you’re a bit too close.”

Stelle kept backing away as she looked at Aglaea, who was right in front of her. She was almost pressed against the large terrestrial beast behind her, yet Aglaea continued to press closer. She simply stared at Stelle and murmured, ”So this is the style of clothing from beyond the sky?”

Aglaea, you seem to have way too much humanity! Don’t you know that maintaining distance is what keeps beauty?!

What’s with constantly touching me all over? Where are your golden threads?

”Lady Aglaea, please mind your image.” Phainon lowered his voice, looking somewhat embarrassed. ”The guests are visiting Amphoreus for the first time. At least wait until we return to the Holy City and do it in private...”

Only then did Aglaea pause her movements. ”Ah, sorry. I got a bit carried away. I was thinking of studying the aesthetics of clothing from beyond the sky so that when we return to the Holy City, I can plant seeds of doubt about Anaxagoras’s fashion sense in the public’s mind.”

”Let me formally introduce myself. My name is Aglaea. You may call me...”

”Agy.”
