What if your Honkai Star Rail was like this?

Chapter 390: Chapter 390: The Romantic Golden Lion, Mydei

[Mysterious Narrator of the Honkai: Star Rail World: As everyone knows, Castorice is the Death demigod, so it makes sense for her to have a Death Note, right?]

”What on earth are you two talking about?” Stelle asked with a completely confused face.

Hearing this, Phainon gave an embarrassed smile. ”Sorry, I forgot that you’re new here and not familiar with us Golden Descendants yet.”

”Miss Castorice is the [Undertaker] of the Holy City. She was born with a miraculous ability—as long as she writes a living being’s name in her notebook, forty-five seconds later, the living being whose name was written will die directly.”

”At the same time, Castorice’s body cannot be touched directly, or the other party will also die immediately. That’s why I said ’good thing I didn’t touch you’ earlier.”

Stelle thought for a moment and stroked her chin. ”Then if we treat Miss Castorice as a weapon and use her in battle, wouldn’t we be invincible?”

Phainon / Castorice / Dan Heng / Sunday: ”······”

Stelle’s words had too many flaws, so the four of them didn’t even know where to begin roasting her.

The following is the imagined scene shared by all four:

·····

Before Nikador of [Strife], Stelle stood proudly. Even though the size difference between them was enormous, their auras were evenly matched—neither could suppress the other.

Because Stelle had a divine artifact!

Stelle gave a soft ”heh” laugh and said to Nikador, ”Nikador, I have come to bring you destruction!”

Nikador: (Titan language) → Translation: Young one, have you come to challenge me?

Stelle: ”No, you are the challenger!”

Stelle: ”You are the enemy of Okhema. I shall take your spark and embed it into the Heart of Creation!”

With that, Stelle reached out and ”pulled out” Castorice. ”Prepare to die, Nikador!”

Nikador: (Titan language) → Translation: Mortal, I acknowledge your courage. Then step forward and embrace your glorious death!

Stelle said disdainfully, ”Big words are easy to say. The ’Castorice’ in my hand carries the authority of [Death]. Just a slight touch and it can take your life!”

”Don’t get touched by my Castorice~”

As she spoke, Stelle smiled confidently and subconsciously brought Castorice to her mouth and licked it...

”I’m hungry—!”

Stelle, deceased.

The imagined scene ends here.

·····

All of the above imagination happened in an instant. The four of them shuddered at the same time and thought in unison: Why would I have such a dream? Who projected this scene into my brain?

Dan Heng cleared his throat lightly. ”...Stelle, that’s only in theory. In practice, unless Miss Castorice’s core strength is strong enough, it would be very easy to drag her on the ground.”

Sunday: ”Actually... my core is quite strong. I don’t mind either.”

Phainon and Castorice: ???

Do people from beyond the sky all have such strange thought processes?

”You two... are really humorous.” Castorice’s mouth twitched as she smiled. ”However, using my ’body’ as a weapon is indeed one of my daily methods for dealing with enemies. Using it against the Mad King Nikador might not be impossible.”

”It’s just that this is my first time encountering Nikador, so I don’t know whether my ability works on Titans as well... Ah, we’ve gone off topic. There’s no time to waste. We should set off to find Nikador!”

”As long as [Strife] does not die, Okhema will never know peace. Time is life. Everyone, please follow me!”

Castorice turned around and led everyone toward the outer area of Cloudstone Market. Soon, the five arrived at the edge of a cliff. An ancient and exquisite device was placed there. At the center of the device was a golden sphere, from which a beam of light shot out toward the clouds.

”This is the ’Janus Secret Path,’ said to be a device created by the Titan of [Portals], Janus. With it, we can perform long-distance teleportation.”

While introducing it, Castorice adjusted the direction of the ”Janus Secret Path.” ”Everyone, please prepare yourselves. I can sense that Nikador is at Cloudstone Celestial Palace. This battle will be dangerous, so be extremely cautious.”

”I still need to stay in the market to protect the citizens. The task of facing [Strife] directly will be left to you.” Castorice took two steps back and said softly, ”Go on. Lord Mydei has already set off ahead.”

”He told me through golden threads that he is waiting for you to settle the score, Lord Phainon.”

Stelle beside them: ???

Stelle felt that today was probably the day she had the most question marks in her life. Golden threads? Mydei?!

What are you even saying?

Wait... Masaka, Mydei is the Golden Descendant who inherited [Romance]? Why would I have such a dream?

I wouldn’t even complain if you let Teacher Anaxa inherit it!!

”Mydei...”

Mentioning this name, a trace of a smile inevitably appeared in Phainon’s eyes. ”That guy is still as responsible as ever. Don’t worry, I’ll head over right now.”

”I will protect Okhema’s safety.”

Castorice nodded. ”If you encounter a situation you cannot overcome, please contact me through the slate. Although my notebook cannot directly kill the Mad King, it can still provide you with some assistance.”

”Of course, favors are not given for free. You will have to repay the debt in the future.”

Phainon nodded. ”No problem. I hope we meet again, Castorice.”

·····

The four used the ”Janus Secret Path” to arrive at Cloudstone Celestial Palace.

”Miss Castorice is one of the more reclusive Golden Descendants here.”

After bidding farewell to Castorice, Phainon finally explained to Stelle and the others, ”Because of her [Death] power, she cannot have physical contact with others, so she inevitably feels a bit distant from people... But she’s actually a very good person.”

”Although she always looks cold and aloof, she’s actually very easy to get along with. The so-called ’favor’ is just an excuse she uses to help others. Mmm... she’s probably the type who is cold on the outside but warm on the inside?”

”Sigh, if only she could learn a thing or two from Mydei someday.”

While Phainon was giving the three a crash course, he casually eliminated the Titan followers that suddenly charged at them. The group advanced all the way and finally, behind a waterfall, saw the target of their journey.

Behind the waterfall was a cavern-like bathhouse. The sound of flowing clear water echoed throughout the entire bathhouse, making it look like an exclusive top-class venue.

—If not for the mountain-like monster in the center of the bathhouse.

It was a humanoid monster holding a golden spear tightly in its hand, but its head was shaped like a curved blade... In short, it looked very strange.

And at this moment, its body was wrapped in dense golden threads. Those threads looked fragile, yet they firmly bound the monster, making it difficult for it to move.

”You’ve finally arrived, savior?”

At this moment, an unhurried voice suddenly rang out. Everyone looked toward the sound and saw a burly figure slowly descending from the top of the bathhouse, stepping on golden threads. Sunlight fell upon him, giving off a sense of beauty, nobility, and romance...

Slap!

Stelle gave herself a hard slap and cursed in her heart: What beauty, nobility, romance? Take your aesthetics and eat them!
