Chapter 2881 - 2882: Celestial Vessel Ascension

-----

After two months of relentless training, Kireina had finally mastered Susanooʼs Legacy in full: the true [Heavenly Sword God Myriad Soul Blade Arts – Shinra Yaoyorozu], a seamless hybrid of Martial Arts and Cultivation Method.

As she landed back in the Heavenly Domain, she crashed through a floating island alongside him, shattering it into countless fragments. At that moment, the Seventh Star within her fully manifested, linking to the other six through radiant Star Veins and fusing deeply with her body.

Falling from the skies, Kireina opened her eyes. They blazed with golden starlight. She halted her descent, hovering effortlessly in midair, and caught Susanoo in her arms.

”Well, looks like someone fell asleep,” Kireina said with a soft giggle as she saw him completely unconscious.

She flew swiftly back to his palace and laid him down to rest, then turned her attention inward to assess her newfound strength.

”Itʼs done...!”

This intense training had accelerated her Star Shattering Realm cultivation beyond imagination.

In just three months, she had achieved the impossible: reaching the peak of the realm.

Now she could face the Heavenly Tribulations and attempt ascension into a Celestial Vessel.

A Celestial Vessel formed when the Seven Stars of Fortune united and transformed into an entirely new body, a vessel for oneʼs complete existence.

The cultivation aspect centered on gradually assimilating with this Celestial Vessel.

Beyond that, she could now be recognized as a Constellation with Seven Stars, forming a Firmament within herself.

Yet the Multiversal Cosmos had not yet registered her as one, since she had not ascended.

”Should I ascend now? Yes, I shouldnʼt waste time. There are still about two weeks left...”

Kireina flew off, leaving Susanoo to recover. Her maids continued their own training and cultivation, while Frank studied under various Kami.

Nanako and Kaguya sensed Kireinaʼs return and the sudden disturbance rippling through the Heavenly Domain. They hurried to investigate, trailing behind their parents.

”Look, Kireina-sama is doing something...!” Kaguya exclaimed, her nine fluffy squirrel tails wagging furiously like helicopter blades.

”I-Is she ascending again?” Nanako narrowed her four eyes in disbelief. ”She was already a powerful and respected Esteemed One, wasnʼt she?”

The two hid behind a distant mountain on a faraway floating island, watching silently through their Divine Sight.

Kireina floated at the heart of a swirling tornado of Divine Essence—a perfect site for ascension, saturated with rich natural energies.

”Now, letʼs begin.”

She wasted no time. She began compressing the Seven Stars within her, unifying them while they had already merged into her body.

FLAAASH!

A blinding starlight aura erupted from her form. The skies above warped, the Plane of Fate trembled, and thick Clouds of Tribulation gathered with terrifying speed.

A Heavenly Tribulation descended!

To ascend to a Celestial Vessel, a cultivator had to endure fifty Heavenly Thunderbolts—an absurdly demanding trial.

But Kireina faced them head-on.

Manifesting her Heart, she gripped her Infinite Heavens Sword and clashed against Fate itself.

The Black Star of Misfortune pulsed ominously above her existence.

Thunder crashed down. Her sword struck back.

Explosions of lightning and radiance tore through the air. The world quaked.

The Heavenly Domain shifted and churned, all its divine energy converging on one point.

One Heavenly Tribulation.

Five Heavenly Tribulations.

Ten Heavenly Tribulations.

Sixteen Heavenly Tribulations.

Twenty Heavenly Tribulations.

Thirty Heavenly Tribulations.

Forty Heavenly Tribulations.

Forty-seven Heavenly Tribulations...

Kireinaʼs body burned fiercely. Agony and despair assaulted her with every strike, each tribulation more ferocious than the last.

Her Fate demanded her defeat here—wanted her to perish pathetically, return to her ”sisters,” lose her identity, and fuse back into that Great Being.

Her entire existence would be erased. Kireina refused to allow it!

Forty-eight Heavenly Tribulations.

”Nnngh...! Come on...! Bring it on!”

Kireina roared defiantly as two Heavenly Tribulations struck simultaneously.

Her eyes widened. Her body scorched and crackled with electricity until it began crumbling to ashes.

”Nngaaaaahhh!”

She screamed in raw torment. Her blood boiled and vaporized, steaming from her nose and ears.

Her eyes dried, cooked, and burst.

She was charred alive, reduced to a decaying, crumbling mummy.

”A-Ahh...! Haaa...”

Yet she still lived.

Her hands shook violently. This tribulation felt like a deliberate, personal assault.

Surely ordinary cultivators never endured so many?

For a fleeting moment, she realized that without Dual Cultivating Heaven and Earth and possessing the Heart Path, she would have perished long ago.

But she endured.

The Seven Stars aligned as the skies parted to reveal the cosmos beyond.

In that vast expanse, the Seven Stars emerged, embodying Kireina as a Constellation.

Her entire existence and consciousness soared to new heights.

Her appearance transformed completely.

She became a radiant goddess of light, her form expanding far beyond planetary scale, stretching endlessly.

The entire Heavenly Domain trembled as a colossal titan of light rose.

”S-So this is what it means to become a Celestial Vessel?”

Kireina marveled at her new form. Streams of golden radiance coursed through her veins. Her body glowed with blinding brilliance.

A red rose blossomed beautifully above her head. Her long hair flowed as nebulae of white and golden light.

Her horns shimmered like massive diamonds, refracting chromatic radiance.

Her red eyes now resembled blazing stars gazing across creation.

Nanako and Kaguya gasped, overwhelmed by the crushing pressure. They nearly collapsed from the sheer force.

Kireinaʼs aura surged like an endless pillar of light, an unstoppable torrent of power.

A dress of white void, starlight, stardust, and divine cosmic streams cloaked her form.

Her Fate Attraction Force had grown immensely. From the Celestial Vessel Realm onward, cultivators expanded dramatically.

They became literal fragments of the universe—cosmic architects...

Constellations.

And she sensed she could grow even larger.

”I might reach half the size of this entire Divine Domain... Itʼs strange too. My gigantic body is ethereal. I can make it physical or not and... Oh.”

Within her physical form, she perceived a developing Heavenly Domain.

It was no longer merely ethereal or confined to her soul. Something truly immense was forming and expanding.

Heavenly Domains were not mere Realms like her Cosmic Realm—they were literal universes.

”I have become a Celestial Vessel. That is its true meaning,” Kireina said with a nod. ”Now, um, how do I shrink?!”

She closed her eyes and willed herself smaller and smaller.

When she opened them again, she had returned to her original size.

Or nearly.

She could no longer shrink quite as small as before.

Her physical body, once that of a teenager, had matured into the form of a young woman in her early twenties.

She stood tall—over two meters.

This was her most contained state.

Her divine features persisted. She quickly adjusted her appearance to regain her familiar look.

”Phew...”

Kireina exhaled in relief, now clad in a white-gold kimono.

Her butterfly wings, previously pure white and golden light, had returned to their usual form—though larger and far more imposing.

”Now my Body is a Sacred Vessel while my Soul remains a powerful Chaos Spawn... I wield two opposing spectrums of the elements together: Yin and Yang,” Kireina reflected, nodding firmly. ”All right, I guess Iʼm done here. Itʼs time.”
