Epic Of Caterpillar

Chapter 2872 - 2873: Kireina VS Wasp Rematch

-----

”Welcome back, dear daughter. It seems you have not forgotten your promise,” her father greeted her, seated upon his throne. ”Today is the day. Wasp challenged you to defeat him if you ever wished for him to follow your lead. Now it is up to you to prove you can do it... or not. Good luck.”

”Thank you, father,” Kireina replied with a smile, as the voices of all the Chaos Gate members rose in a thunderous cheer from the vast crowd.

At the opposite end of the arena, Wasp advanced slowly, his Aura surging with ferocious intensity.

The once-small arena rapidly expanded, distorting space until it transformed into a vast spatial dimension—large enough for the two of them to unleash whatever chaos they desired.

As before, Wasp manifested his Cultivation Realm and the three Paths he had mastered. His insectoid form shifted, growing into a towering golden giant with multiple arms, each wielding deadly weapons.

Feathered wings of ethereal heavenly essence and blazing flames erupted behind him, stacking layer upon layer as he gathered power.

Storm winds and crackling thunder swirled around his body, granting him the awe-inspiring appearance of a true god among gods.

This was Waspʼs true power, hidden until this moment!

”Did Frank really fight a Wasp like this in his original world?” Kireina wondered silently. ”I think... everyone received a massive boost here, not just in raw strength but in the sheer range of their abilities on this parallel Earth.”

Even as these thoughts crossed her mind, her Aura remained almost completely still. She had not released her power at all; it stayed contained deep within her body and soul.

Why?

”Youʼre not unleashing your power?” Wasp asked, narrowing his eyes.

”No,” Kireina answered simply, shaking her head.

”...?”

Waspʼs gaze sharpened as he honed his golden weapons—all of them Dharma Treasures, artifacts refined by Cultivators using the Dan Fire born from their Souls and stored within their Golden Cores.

Lord Chaos, Kireinaʼs father, raised his hand toward the sky.

”The winner will be decided by me after a match lasting only ten minutes. The one who deals the most damage claims victory. Now—begin!”

RUMBLE!

Wasp surged forward instantly, swinging all six of his Dharma Treasures—the Six Golden Heavenly Treasures, Shaka Tenwa—weapons he had forged from the Souls of the powerful Cultivators who had once terrorized his village, slaughtered his family, and turned them into pills.

Kireina stood motionless as he approached. She wore a sleek black dress and red heels, her eyes glowing with red and black flames while her Aura rose only slightly.

Very slightly.

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

Wasp attacked with unrestrained fury, fully aware of the depths of Kireinaʼs power after having guided her to this realm himself.

Yet he noticed something startling.

Kireina countered with her bare hands, condensing vast quantities of energy into her palms.

”...?!”

His eyes widened in shock as she parried his blows effortlessly, advancing one step, then two, then three.

Her Aura flared, and golden holy blades alongside demonic swords materialized, rushing toward him.

He could not evade them.

He did not understand how, but the attack struck instantaneously.

One hundred swords pierced his entire body, leaving the audience in stunned silence as he hung impaled.

Each blade was no mere physical weapon, but a Manifestation born from Kireinaʼs Heart Path fused with Heaven and Earth—and channeled through her Arcane Path via Alchemy.

”Hah...!”

Wasp grinned wickedly and unleashed a devastating shockwave from his body, shattering the swords before swinging his own weapons toward her head with all his might.

CLAAASH!

Yet Kireina was enveloped in a strange, semi-transparent mantle of pale, twisting colors—another Manifestation of her own.

”I see...!”

Wasp felt the shock of it: part of his attack had been redirected elsewhere entirely.

She had somehow forged a Manifestation from her greatest pain, her endless struggles, her unrelenting obsession to see things through to the end.

All of it had crystallized into this extraordinary form.

”Blossoming Defiance – Myriad Forms and Connections.”

The living embodiment of Kireinaʼs defiance, blossoming without limit as she grew ever stronger, transcending everything.

A Pillar of Light that pierced through all Planes, all Universes, and the boundless Cosmos—reaching even the Star of Misfortune her Sisters had placed upon her.

This single act of defiance had become her ultimate power.

An evolution born from the System and everything she had ever been.

”Weapon Form.”

”...!”

A chill of foreboding ran through Wasp. He retreated swiftly and unleashed his own Manifestation, his Aura surging into the colossal shape of an insectoid god-like spirit.

”Manifestation – Heaven-Defying Insect God.”

This was the embodiment of Waspʼs delusions, his struggles, his pain, and his obsession—the forces that had forged such a ruthless, bloodthirsty man.

A lowly insect with no natural talent for Cultivation had believed in himself to the point of madness.

Thus, his Manifestation gave form to the god he had become.

When their Domains overlapped, his power surged almost without limit for a fleeting moment.

And Kireina, too, released her full might.

Her Manifestation took on multiple forms, among them the Weapon Form.

The sword she had forged from Amaterasuʼs finger, now fused with her very being.

”Infinite Heavens Sword.”

A blade that stretched endlessly into the heavens, without end.

The pillar of twisting pale light—the very thing Wasp had touched moments before.

This was Myriad Forms and Connections.

This was Blossoming Defiance itself.

Their Domains collided violently, twisting and warping space as both unleashed everything.

Their attacks met.

TRUUUUM!

A sword resembling an endless pillar of light, born from boundless pain and suffering in this Saha World.

Against a golden giant, a god of insects—the first of its kind—forged from insanity and madness.

Among masters of the Heart Tribe, this was no mere physical duel.

It was a clash of Hearts, Minds, and Consciousness.

Kireinaʼs conviction against Waspʼs iron determination.

Who would prevail?

RUMBLE!

The sky tore open. The audience gasped. No one had truly grasped the terrifying power of these two until now.

Lord Chaosʼs eyes widened in awe, especially at the sight of his daughter.

”Kireina...! You make your father proud!”

As tears of pride and joy streamed down Lord Chaosʼs face, the battle between Kireina and Wasp raged on.

Within the inner world connecting their Consciousness.

As the Golden Fists of the Insect God clashed against the Pillar of Light Blade...

Kireina and Wasp fought with pure Heart Essence.

Punches, kicks, claw strikes, sharp stinger thrusts, headbutts—everything.

”Wasp, I will make you follow me!”

”Do it!”

They roared, their Intents colliding and bending reality itself.

Until the final moment arrived.

BOOOMMM!!!

Smoke engulfed the entire arena. Everyone coughed and waved their hands. Lord Chaos clapped once, and the smoke dispersed.

When it cleared, the victor stood revealed.

”Hah...”

Wasp.

Or...

Kireina?

The audience stared in stunned silence.

”Hahah...”

Both remained standing, barely injured.

It had been a battle where both had held back considerably.

But then what was the outcome?

”I yield,” Wasp declared. ”Kireina-sama, you have proven your might to me. Your Heart is stronger than mine, and so is your Struggle. I will follow you until the end of the universe.”

Wasp knelt, swearing eternal loyalty.

The entire audience remained frozen, mouths agape in disbelief.
