Epic Of Caterpillar

Chapter 2869 - 2870: Star Shattering

-----

While the Four Stations of the Cicadaʼs cycle offered a beautiful path, the Four Cursed Abyssal Spider Eyes Method was markedly different. It embodied four profound curses upon humanity, each represented by the spider. Every Axis formed through forcibly stealing lifespan, transforming it into a spider eye that unleashed curses and madness upon the world.

The First Axis, the Cursed Eye of Greed, stole the lifespan of others.

The Second Axis, the Cursed Eye of Fear, instilled overwhelming fear.

The Third Axis, the Cursed Eye of Hatred, spread burning hatred.

The Fourth Axis, the Cursed Eye of Self-Destruction, drove others toward their own ruin.

Confident that her godly followers could endure it, and after openly announcing her intent and securing their heartfelt consent, over a thousand gods agreed without hesitation.

Thus, Kireina cultivated both the Four Stations of the Cicada and the Four Cursed Eyes of the Abyssal Spider simultaneously.

Wasp watched in silent awe.

In just one week, Kireina completed them.

Four radiant Axes pulsed with the essence of the stations and overflowed with curses, enveloping her soul like a vast canopy.

Each time a new Axis formed, a furious Heavenly Tribulation descended from the Plane of Fate, desperate to halt her progress. Yet each time, it failed utterly.

Kireina absorbed every tribulation, channeling its power to accelerate her cultivation even further.

Wasp had always viewed cultivation as a grueling, lifelong struggle. To Kireina, however, it seemed like a thrilling challenge to conquer and master.

She truly was a monster.

”Cultivation is nothing more than a game to her...” he murmured with a bitter smile. ”Incredible. So this is the daughter of my lord.”

Now, at the peak of Four Axes, Kireina faced one final Heavenly Tribulation. Flames scorched her body as she drew it in, pouring its essence into her Axes.

The Four Axes Canopy fully manifested above her, weaving stations and curses into a single whole.

Then, she fused them.

Domain Integration Stage, the realm where all Four Axes merged into a personal Domain, then integrated deeply into soul and body.

FLAAASH!

A new Domain blossomed within Kireina, akin to the one Wasp wielded, yet far more intimately bound to her existence. It resembled her Cosmic Realm but felt profoundly personal.

The Domain took the form of a moon divided into four distinct biomes, each reflecting one of the cicadaʼs stations.

Within every biome rose a dark tower crowned by a glowing red eye that embodied the curses.

At the moonʼs center bloomed a garden of roses.

Dozens of weapons pierced its surface like ancient scars.

Wasp stood speechless, gazing at Kireinaʼs creation. ”Itʼs... complete? Domain Integration? Just like that?”

”Just like that,” Kireina replied with a warm, gentle smile. ”I finally understand the profound beauty of these stages...”

Power surged through her. She felt strong enough to shatter planets and stars with her bare fists, without relying on soul or divine artifacts.

Perhaps she could even obliterate the heart of a galaxy.

Entire realms within Genesis would fall easily before her now.

Of course, this unique Cosmic World woven from countless heavenly and spiritual realms was far stronger than most. Here, her might could devastate a continent or destroy a small Spirit Realm.

Japan itself would crumble beneath her strikes.

”Wonderful. Thank you,” Kireina said softly. ”Wasp, there is more, isnʼt there?”

”Star Shattering Realm,” he answered, voice tinged with respect. ”Once achieved, you can align all three cultivation paths...”

”I like the sound of that,” Kireina nodded eagerly. ”Do you have methods to share?”

”I am crafting one suited only to myself,” he explained. ”I cannot offer it. My original plan was merely to guide you to Heavenly Stage, yet you have proven capable of far greater heights. If you learn as swiftly from Victor and Medea... you might truly attain the ultimate strength needed for the peace you seek... and perhaps even more.”

”Thank you, Wasp,” Kireina said, her smile radiant. ”I have been developing two original methods from my own Manifestations. The Heaven Path I call ʼAbyssal Demon Queen of Demise Body,ʼ and the Earth Path, ʼHeavenly Celestial Sun Scarab Goddess Khepri Transformation.ʼ What do you think?”

She revealed them fully. Immense pressure washed over Wasp as eternal abyssal darkness, curses, and nightmares poured from her left side, while blinding sunlight and divine brilliance blazed from her right.

Half her form became a demonic queen of demise, feeding upon Death itself. The other half embodied a radiant scarab goddess of the sun, expanding her authority through blessings, life, and absorbed sunlight.

Both methods refined her Domain Integration, manifesting a brilliant sun within the moon where golden scarabs and insects swarmed, and an endless abyss where demons rose from flames and void.

She harnessed them to forge her Domainʼs Six Omens: Rain, Sun, Heat, Cold, Wind, and Time. These were symbols of seasonal change, embodying cloudiness, clarity, warmth, chill, and flowing breeze.

The Abyssal Demon Queen method absorbed Rain, Cold, and Wind. The Heavenly Celestial Sun Scarab method refined Sun, Heat, and Time.

Drawing abundant Heaven and Earth Essence from her own Cosmic Realm, advancement came swiftly.

Throughout the week of deep meditation, her Domain shifted and evolved. When Kireina finally emerged...

”You... achieved it?!”

Wasp, absorbed in studying ancient texts, gasped as he witnessed her Domain Integration perfectly aligned with both Heaven and Earth.

Heavenly Tribulations thundered down. Kireina faced the skies unflinchingly, wielding her First Manifestation in weapon form, the Infinite Heavens Sword.

She cleaved the lightning and absorbed its heavenly essence, growing ever stronger.

At last, as her Domain reached its radiant peak, it shone like a brilliant star.

”To complete the ascension ritual, you must shatter a star and absorb its essence, Kireina!”

”So that is what Star Shattering means.”

In this world, the surrounding stars burned with immense power far beyond those in the outer universe.

Yet Kireina had no time to venture out and find one.

She did not need to.

Within her Cosmic Realm, countless stars had formed from the Vampire Worldʼs sun.

Channeling her power, she summoned two massive suns into her Domain.

She plunged inside, gripping the Infinite Heavens Sword, and...

SLASH!

SLASH!

With overwhelming, domineering might, both stars split apart.

Their cataclysmic explosions surged, completing the ritual.

Stellar essence flooded her being. Her spiritual body transformed, no longer merely humanoid. It became a radiant star of intertwined darkness and light.

Thus, Kireina succeeded.

”Star Shattering...!”

All three paths—Heart, Heaven, and Earth—aligned, forming three luminous halos behind her.

Ultimate, cosmic power coursed through her veins.

She had become a true Cosmic Goddess among gods.

”With this strength... what will I accomplish once I leave this dimension?”

Tears welled in Kireinaʼs eyes as she smiled.

She had finally seized the power she desperately needed.

By forging her own foundation and wielding everything at her disposal, she had walked a true path that unleashed her potential and propelled it ever higher.

But was this truly the end?

”Medea and Victor await you. Do not worry about Frank; he is pursuing a different cultivation method,” Wasp said with a proud smile. ”As you sensed earlier, his talent rivals even yours.”

”Oh? I cannot wait to see his progress!” Kireina replied joyfully. ”Then I will take my leave. Shall we battle later?”

”Yes. We will clash at the end of this week, but with time dilation, you still have three months,” Wasp answered. ”Grow stronger, Kireina-sama. I will show no mercy.”

”Very well, Wasp,” Kireina nodded firmly. ”And... thank you, master.”

”...!”

As Kireina departed with a warm, heartfelt smile, Wasp gazed downward, quietly acknowledging the title.

His attention shifted elsewhere, guiding Frankʼs training in his mind.

”Master, huh?”

A gentle smile touched his lips.

Not from the anticipation of battle, but from genuine pride in his disciple.
