Epic Of Caterpillar

Chapter 2867 - 2868: Rapidly Ascending Through The Realms

-----

The Grazing Heaven Philosophy consisted of three stages, encompassing the Golden Core, Nascent Soul, and Heavenly Being Realms.

The First Stage guided the cultivator to master the Four Enclosures within the Golden Core.

The First Enclosure perfected the flow of Lifeforce (Ki) through the body, revealing and aligning with oneʼs fate, eliminating all blockages.

The Second Enclosure freed the Ki and blood to connect outward, harmonizing the self with heaven and fate, transforming the body into a living altar.

The Third Enclosure solidified this foundation, allowing the cultivator to act as a priest bridging heaven and earth, gaining complete control over vital force and the ability to regenerate from grievous wounds—even decapitation or dismemberment—as long as the Golden Core endured.

The Fourth Enclosure enabled rites performed through the body-altar itself, extending influence over not only personal lifeforce but that of others, introducing the concept of ”planes” just before the Nascent Soul breakthrough.

The Grazing Heaven Philosophy unified these four processes into a single, seamless stage.

Kireina began immediately. The steps were clear and within her reach.

She sat in meditation, opening her soul and body to Heaven and Fate, allowing their essence to course through her.

Pure light stirred within her Lifeforce, and she began to shine brilliantly.

She channeled this radiance, guiding it simultaneously through all Four Enclosures.

From the First to the Second, then the Third, the Fourth, and back to the First, forming an endless rotation of Heavenly Energy.

Drawing on the power stored in her Heart Essence—now that her body could withstand the strain—she accelerated the cycle.

FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!

Three days passed. Kireina refined all Four Enclosures completely, deepening her comprehension of Heaven and Fate as one unified force.

”The Heavens are not the sky above. They are everywhere—an eternal white flow of essence. Fate,” she whispered, eyes widening in awe.

She had once manipulated fate through a mere Skill, limited by the systemʼs constraints. Now she touched its profound truth, far beyond those boundaries.

Her advancement surged forward.

White light coursed through the Four Enclosures, rapidly refining her Crimson Golden Core to its utmost potential.

Four thunderbolts descended. She now understood they arose not from weather or sky, but from a realm she had never imagined.

The Plane of Fate.

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

The strikes ravaged her, yet Kireina endured, charred but unbroken.

She healed slowly, feeling her Golden Core expand into her soul.

Her soul blossomed outward, radiant and immense.

”Nascent Soul Realm.”

Her eyes opened, blazing with chaotic and heavenly flames.

The Grazing Heaven Philosophy unlocked the Heavenly Essence she had gathered, manifesting blinding light.

Fused with her existing powers, this force promised devastation.

She sensed an evolution awaiting her Sunlight Empress Khepri Transformation.

That transformation, she realized, had become both a Heart Path Manifestation and an Earth Path Method.

”Can I convert my Skills into such profound techniques?” Surprise flickered through her. ”Now that they are fully integrated and I understand more... I can.”

The Demon King of Demise Body Parts served as a Heart Path Embodiment and a manifestation of her martial arts. Combined, they could form a Devilish Path Cultivation Method—one that fed on the Concept of Death itself, absorbing the black matter that arose from the fallen, without touching souls or blood.

Thus, Kireina already possessed two Heaven and Earth Cultivation Methods, forged from her long journey.

”I must continue refining them and discover how to merge their strengths. For now... onward.”

Under Waspʼs rigorous guidance, Kireina studied the Second Stage of the Grazing Heaven Philosophy.

Having reached Nascent Soul, she felt her soul expand tenfold, spreading around her body like a vast aura, and grasped its deeper nature.

It revolved around lifetime and memories.

The breakthrough had flooded her with visions—every moment from birth to present, across countless lives. The onslaught had briefly paralyzed her.

Yet as she embraced those memories, her Nascent Soul grew stronger.

Amid the flood, she uncovered her true origin.

The beginning of her existence.

”I was a Fragment of a Great Being, born from her Insecurity and Self-Doubt. What some would call... a Heart Demon.”

The revelation shook her to her core.

”To free herself from those burdens, she divided into Four Pieces—my sisters and me.”

Memories of her sisters surfaced, though the Great Being herself remained shrouded.

”With blonde hair and golden, transparent wings—Happiness.”

”With fiery red hair, purple eyes, and black wings—Anger.”

”With black hair, a weak body, and dark wings—Sadness.”

”And me, with purple hair, depressive red eyes, purple wings—Fear.”

Kireina embodied the Fear that Great Being rejected, the part she could no longer bear.

Thus, Happiness, Anger, and Sadness cast her down into the world below.

Sadness alone was spared exile; perhaps the Great Being deemed that emotion acceptable.

Only Fear was unwanted.

Kireina was meant to suffer in this Saha World, learn to live without fear, then return cleansed, so the Great Being could be whole again, untainted.

”This is the Nascent Soul Stage—to confront oneʼs origins,” Kireina reflected, a bitter smile touching her lips. ”Most see tender memories of parental embrace, even their time as a fetus. Their Nascent Soul takes that innocent form. Mine has no such comfort. It is merely a Black and White Sphere.”

According to Wasp, the Earth Path called this the Transformation Stage, enabling beasts to assume human-like shapes and refine their existence further.

”The Nascent Soul and Body Transformation has four phases, where the soul shifts form as you gaze into your past and contemplate deeply,” he explained.

The Nascent Soul Realm fascinated her. It divided into Yin and Yang Spirits. The Yin Spirit arose from the moment of birth, gifted by the Mother. The Yang Spirit emerged as the Yin interacted with World, Fate, Souls, Ki, and the Light of all creation.

These two revolved together—the Yin as Moon, the Yang as Sun. Shaping the soul through this inner celestial dance advanced the Nascent Soul through four stages.

The First Stage enveloped half the soul in Yin, creating Eternal Night—the Constant Moon Stage.

The Second Stage mirrored this with Yang, forming bright Day—the Rising Sun Stage.

The Third Stage erected Pillars beneath Sun and Moon: Five Mountains representing Fire, Water, Wood, Metal, and Earth, built from Elemental Ki and Spiritual Energy drawn from oneʼs Spirit Roots.

The Fourth Stage achieved perfect balance among Sun, Moon, and Five Mountains, preparing ascension to Heavenly Being.

The Grazing Heaven Philosophy streamlined this wonder. Heavenly Power poured down, instantly forming Moon and Sun, then expanding into Five Heavenly Peaks that aligned in perfect harmony as the soul blazed with light.

Yet Kireina faced a profound obstacle. Her true origin lacked a mother. How could she birth the Yin Spirit?

She wrestled with the dilemma for two days and nights.

Then, with grim resolve, she acted.

She seized her Soul Origin—that strange sphere devoid of mother or father—and tore it apart.

She shattered her identity as a mere fragment, cutting deeper until she reached the mothers that truly mattered.

The Primordial Chaos Entity.

And a Darkwood Fae.

Both danced within her soul, weaving a Yin Spirit from the wreckage, even though it demanded she rip her very origin asunder.

Reckless, yes. But she succeeded.

”Itʼs done...!”

Guided by the Grazing Heaven Philosophy, she invited Heavenly Essence to flow. She divided her soul into Eternal Night and Rising Sun, then raised Five Peaks of radiant elemental hues using her Five Elemental Spiritual Roots.

One week later.

Her body became a grand altar as five thunderbolts—Heavenly Tribulations—crashed down.

She bathed in their searing agony, flesh rapidly charring.

Yet she endured, shielded by the Heavenly Essence of the Grazing Heaven Philosophy.

BOOOM!

Burned and blackened, Kireina smiled defiantly at the heavens.

Her entire being ascended higher, madness and divinity flooding her soul.

Her body rose into the air, enveloped in radiant power.

”Heavenly Being...”
