Chapter 2880 - 2881: Learning The Sword Godʼs Legacy

-----

One Month Later.

From Susanooʼs teachings, Kireina absorbed profound insights into his unique Cultivation and Martial Arts Method: the Heavenly Sword God Myriad Soul Blade Arts – Shinra Yaoyorozu.

It consisted of Seven Primary Forms. Once all seven were achieved and mastered, the technique could endlessly shift into countless shapes and variations.

After a full month of relentless training—swinging her sword in attempts to mirror his movements, now without any Skill to guide her—she had grasped these.

Mountain Slash: a devastating horizontal strike that cultivated the Physical Bodyʼs Durability.

Terrain Division: a relentless series of ten thrusting attacks that tore the ground apart before the user. It honed the Bodyʼs Senses and Precision.

Splitting Skies: a soaring rising slash that stretched impossibly far without losing force. It sharpened the Soul like a blade.

Storming Seas: a fierce combination of five downward slashes followed by five horizontal ones, conjuring the illusion of raging oceans that swept away and carved through enemies. It strengthened the Soulʼs Vitality and Essence.

Four Heavenly Cardinals: channeling the power of Heaven, Earth, and the Four Directions, unleashing four converging strikes, a slash, a stab, a downward cut, and a horizontal sweep. They shattered barriers, disrupted Auras and Consciousness Domains, and cultivated the Soul, Intent, and expanded Consciousness itself.

Star Cleaving Sword: fusing all prior lessons into a single, unstoppable rising vertical slash aimed at targets that seemed indestructible. It ignored defenses, shattered movements, and cleaved through divinities and elemental concepts. It transformed both Body and Soul into razor-sharp blades.

Myriad Celestial Blade: the ultimate Form. It summoned a storm by striking the skies—any ”sky,” not merely the literal one—disrupting the surroundings and forging a pseudo domain from raw world energy. Thunderbolts rained down, transforming into dozens of swords, each embodying an attack from the previous forms. This pinnacle cultivated everything that came before.

Through this month of grueling training, Kireina had comprehended all Seven Forms but truly mastered only the first five. The transformations in her body were unmistakable. She grew steadily stronger, her Star Shattering Realm advancing to Four Stars.

While sparring and cultivating, she discovered the extraordinary synergy between these techniques and her own methods. Susanooʼs teachings allowed her to link Martial Arts directly to her other Cultivation paths. Every clash became an opportunity to grow stronger through combat itself.

Each exchanged blow drew in energies from Heaven and Earth, refining her Body and Soul in real time.

This was the secret behind Susanooʼs overwhelming might—the reason even Amaterasu hesitated to cross him, despite their disagreements.

As they fought using his own techniques, Susanoo laughed with genuine delight.

”Itʼs incredible how quickly you absorb knowledge. Youʼre like a sponge, soaking up everything in reach,” he said, swinging his sword.

Kireina met it with her own. Both unleashed Mountain Slashes, followed by Storming Seas and Splitting Skies. Blinding surges of lightning erupted where their blades collided. Terrain Divisions clashed, shattering the ground into countless fragments.

Boulders soared into the air as the world around them seemed to slow.

Their eyes locked.

”Four Heavenly Cardinals!”

Their accumulated power condensed into four radiant attacks—red, yellow, green, and blue—each detonating with elemental fury that fractured the skies and split the earth.

Through the smoke, Kireina stared at Susanoo. Her power surged as Heaven and Earth energies poured in, refining her entire being once more.

Her body felt honed to a lethal edge.

Susanoo descended at blinding speed. Kireina countered with a ferocious upward swing.

”Star Cleaving Sword!”

Susanoo mirrored the technique. Their strikes met in perfect unison, compressing every prior form into devastating force.

Reality warped and shattered. For an instant, they floated amid the cosmos, stars exploding around them one after another.

BOOOMMM!!!

The colossal blast engulfed them both. Starlight flames scorched their bodies as they plummeted from the heavens, crashing into the devastated floating island.

”Not bad! Not bad at all!” Susanoo roared with laughter. ”Youʼre finally starting to grasp it! Youʼve still got a month left—letʼs keep going!”

”Yes,” Kireina replied firmly.

She refused to relent. She trained and fought as though her life hung in the balance, driven by obsessive determination toward the path she had chosen.

With each new Star she forged, the concept of Fate grew clearer. The Fate Attraction Force manifested around her. She had become dense as a star, generating her own gravitational pull of destiny.

Another month slipped by.

”Star Cleaving Sword!”

The power of this Form grew exponentially with each refined Star.

At six stars, Kireinaʼs strength became overwhelming. Susanoo was formidable too, advancing his own Heart Path Method until he could almost match her.

Yet the gap was obvious. Kireina continued to learn and surpass.

It was absurdly one-sided.

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

Their swords collided in torrents of starlight, distorting reality until they found themselves once more in the void.

From that emptiness, storms of white clouds erupted. White and golden thunder descended.

Kireina had once believed this was mere elemental power.

She had been wrong.

These were Heavenly Tribulations summoned from the Plane of Fate.

Susanooʼs Swordsmanship had reached such mastery that he could weaponize Fateʼs own judgments!

Thus...

”Myriad Celestial Blades.”

Kireina and Susanoo unleashed everything. Their thunderous swords clashed in endless fury. Each blade carried the essence of a prior form—Mountain Slashes, Storming Seas, Terrain Divisions, Splitting Skies, Four Heavenly Cardinals, Star Cleaving Swords—crashing without end.

This was what Kireina would call an ”Ultimate Martial Art.”

She felt eternal gratitude for learning it from Susanoo.

The intensity escalated until even the void began to fracture and tear apart.

BOOOM!

In an instant, a massive interdimensional explosion erupted. Their attacks ripped through the fabric of reality, hurling them into a Plane of Eternal White Clouds and Seas of Golden Essence.

The Plane of Soul!

They pressed forward, clashing into yet another realm.

The sky transformed into pure white and yellow light.

A Plane of nothing but blinding radiance.

The Plane of Fate.

The light scorched their existences, demanding annihilation.

Yet with pure swordsmanship, they cleaved apart the boundaries between planes.

Until finally...

TRUUUM!

They crashed back into Susanooʼs Heavenly Domain, slamming into the ground and shattering the entire floating island into countless fragments.

BOOOM!
