Epic Of Caterpillar

Chapter 2871 - 2872: Time Flies

------

Agatheina arrived after being summoned, accompanied by Alice and the two children, Alucard and Jeanne. The youngsters played happily with Franky and the other Dark Elf students, while Alice and Agatheina shared what they had mastered, guiding Kireina as she studied the grimoires they had gifted her.

”The Blood Spirit Blossoming Garden is a special Magic Book that strengthens your Affinity with the Dhampir side of our family,” Agatheina explained with a calm, warm smile. ”It allows you to merge your Mana Aura with your Consciousness, creating an Arcane Spell Domain where you can unleash spells freely. It should blend beautifully with your Heart Path Manifestation.”

”Meanwhile, the Darkwood Abyss Eclipsing Dew focuses on our Fae origins,” Alice continued. ”It generates an Arcane Spell Domain as well, but one formed from a vast Darkwood Forest. It will help you cultivate Darkness and Abyss Elements, while the other enhances Blood and its derived powers.”

”Once you master both, and if you possess the talent, they will overlap and merge, awakening the true inheritance of our family,” Agatheina added gently. ”Now, now, what are we waiting for? Get to it, my cute little niece~!”

Kireina nodded eagerly. She read and reread the [Blood Spirit Blossoming Garden] and [Darkwood Abyss Eclipsing Dew], along with the [Abyssal Crimson Codex Grimoire: Volume 1], absorbing new spells and techniques in Mana Manipulation, Summoning, Conjuration, and Spiritual Calling from her three devoted teachers.

After a week of deep comprehension, she began constructing Runes with her Mana, shaping the energy into precise forms. Each Rune carried meaning, and to cast spells, one had to assemble Runes of related significance into Magic Rings. The higher the spellʼs Tier, the more Rings and Runes were required.

The weakest spells needed only a single Magic Ring with up to ten Runes, while the mightiest demanded nine Rings and thousands of Runes. To bypass this laborious process, magicians often imprinted spells or spell fragments onto their bodies for shortcuts.

They also relied on magical artifacts to accelerate casting. Above all, however, the most powerful method was forging Internal Magic Circles—embedding Runes and Magic Rings within oneself. This created a permanent Magic Circle inside the body, allowing the magician to conjure spells effortlessly without rebuilding them each time.

The strength and variety of spells depended on the accumulated Runes within the Internal Magic Circle. These circles themselves held Ranks from 1 to 9, based on their Magic Rings. To forge higher Rings and advance to greater Ranks, countless Runes had to be refined over extended periods.

Kireina, however, was different. Thanks to the Quintessential Mana Entanglement Method—which fused her Consciousness with the ambient Mana—she could forge spells as naturally as breathing.

Thus, she swiftly channeled both Magic Spell Domains of the Darkwood Fae Clan, the [Blood Spirit Blossoming Garden] and [Darkwood Abyss Eclipsing Dew], and fused them at once.

The garden and the forest birthed a vast surrounding magical domain of pure runes and potent mana, brimming with overwhelming power.

With this achievement, Kireina internalized the spell domain—much like the Domain Integration Realm in cultivation—and condensed it, forging everything into a single Magic Ring that became her Inner Magic Circle of Rank 1.

FLUOSH!

In that moment, she claimed her Magic Circle—the true legacy of her clan.

”I got it!” Kireina exclaimed triumphantly. ”The Shadow Blood Garden Forest Abyssal Magic Circle… the creation of our ancestors.”

”Welcome to the club, young lady~!” Agatheina clapped with delight.

”Well done,” Alice said, her smile soft and proud.

Feeling her Inner Magic Circle, Mana Core, and Magic Circuits align in perfect harmony, Kireina sensed their power surging exponentially.

Now only one task remained: to learn, memorize, and imprint spells relentlessly until she could raise the Ranks as high as possible.

Kireina was a relentless worker, so she dove into the task without hesitation.

And so, a month and a half slipped by.

By then, Kireina had reached a far higher level of magical power and deeper insight into the Arcane Path.

Her Magic Circle had refined thousands of new Runes, climbing to Rank 4 with four Magic Rings and four thousand Runes in total.

Her Mana Core had advanced to Rank 6, overflowing with refined Elemental Mana. It vastly increased her maximum energy capacity, sharpened her control, and granted numerous additional benefits.

Finally, her Magic Circuits—strengthened through intense physical training alongside magical study—had reached Rank 5, boosting her physical power through magic alone while providing many other enhancements.

The Quintessential Mana Entanglement Method had climbed to Level 14 after she formed 1400 Mana and Consciousness Threads.

She had also mastered over a hundred new spells from the grimoires and felt fully prepared to depart for Victor.

During this time, she trained alongside the other students and shared precious moments of friendship with Franky, which soothed and healed her heart.

Franky had trained with fierce determination as well. With Kireinaʼs guidance, she too obtained her Magic Circle, Mana Core, and Circuits—all reaching Rank 3. Her tremendous diligence made her an outstanding candidate for the entrance exam.

Franky accompanied Kireina to her fatherʼs Realm after heartfelt goodbyes to Medea.

”Thank you for everything, Medea. It was fun and truly enlightening. I wish I could stay here for years instead of so little time,” Kireina sighed.

”Itʼs alright! Your progress in the Arcane Path is already incredible!” Medea replied warmly. ”Now please pay close attention in the Alchemy Classes with Victor. Heʼll make sure you learn well if you listen!”

”I will. Thank you,” Kireina said, nodding. She reached Victor Frankensteinʼs Domain and stepped into his Manor with Franky.

The Doctor awaited them.

”Ah, youʼre finally here… to think you left me for last—What is that Aura?!” Victor stepped back in astonishment as he sensed Kireinaʼs overwhelming power. ”What in the world happened?!”

”Ah, well…” Kireina explained her intense training regimen, leaving him utterly speechless.

”Insanity…” he murmured. ”Well, whatever the case, come with me. Let us delve deeper into Alchemy and what it truly means to seize control over the elements and shape them to your will!”

Kireina spent the next month and a half under Doctor Victor Frankensteinʼs tutelage. Though she gained no sudden superpower or raw strength boost, the knowledge and mastery she acquired became an invaluable treasure, enabling her to blend her many sources of power with seamless precision.

Thus, five days passed in the outside world.

When she finally emerged from her five-month training, she was led to an underground arena where her father and the rest of the Chaos Gate awaited.

Wasp stood in the center of the arena. He had not forgotten his promise.

It was time for Kireina to show him—no, to show everyone present—how far she had grown.

And among the crowd, she spotted Frank.

To her astonishment, he too had changed tremendously in these last five months.
