The creature that initially looked like a furry ball became like a deflated balloon.

“Huh? So this is its true form?”

Gradually, the furry ball flattened into what looked like a piece of thin and soft animal fur.

At the center for the fur coat, there was a mouth that belonged to a primitive creature, spiral-patterned teeth filled the whole mouth.

The creature had no eyes, no nose, no ears, no limbs, and no tail.

Its balloon-like protective layer seemed to have the function of self-sealing and sensing sound waves naturally.

The way the creature performed self-sealing was to completely hide its breath and body temperature inside its balloon-like furry body and become one with the environment.

At the same time, due to its long-term evolution in the sound wave setting of the Burrow World, it had learned to hide from being traced by the Ultrasound Positioning Sorcery easily.

The so-called “hiding” was always based on the perception of other creatures.

Although the creature was only living on the shallow layer of the Burrow World and had not even reached the standard of a Level 1 creature, its status was already similar to sharks in the sea of Sorcerer World.

Perhaps, this kind of creatures were not confined within a certain burrow. Instead, it was a mobile predator in the whole Burrow World.

While having these thoughts, Grimm suddenly shook his head and smiled mysteriously. He had a delicate scalpel in his hand.

Grimm cut open the piece of gray soft fur gently, no blood flowed out. Suddenly, a shadow flashed and a long, bloody creature dashed out from the mouth with spiral teeth, trying to attack Grimm.

Buzz…

Grimm seemed to have expected the situation to happen.

As Grimm’s translucent Sorcerer Barrier flashed, it blocked the attack of the long creature. After its attempt failed, it tried to escape, yet Grimm grabbed its throat quickly.

“Hiss, hiss, hiss…”

The long creature twisted and struggled, but was pulled out of its fur by Grimm.

The balloon-like skin on the ground was like the creature’s shell, which was like a kind of protective layer.

Grimm was surprised to find such an ugly creature hiding within a hairy and cute furball. As Grimm grabbed its throat harder and harder, it curled around Grimm’s arm.

After a space distortion, Myna appeared.

“Myna, this is the culprit who ate your mud monster. What are you going to do with it? Would you like to eat it?”

Myna was shocked by the bloody, long creature that was curling on Grimm’s arm. It said in sorrow, “Well I don’t want to eat this disgusting thing. Young master, I was thinking about dozens of ways to torture the murderer who ate my Leaf Beast, but first, could you help me to ask whether it can accompany me to…”

“Hiss!”

All of a sudden, the long creature that was winding Grimm’s arm did something unexpectedly. At one end of its tail, there was another giant mouth. It opened its giant mouth on the other end and attempted to bite Myna.

“Oh my!”

Myna screamed and disappeared into the Dimensional Gap.

Grimm stared fiercely at the situation. Although what just happened wasn’t within his expectation, he had enough reaction time with the help of his Infinity Eye. Besides, the creature couldn’t break through Grimm’s Sorcerer Barrier at all.

Suddenly, the heteromorphic marrow on Grimm’s Mask of Truth stretched and attached perfectly on Grimm’s face.

At the next moment, Grimm’s mouth turned into a mouth of a dark vicious creature. As he opened his mouth wide, a tongue that looked exactly like the long creature appeared.

“Roar!”

Grimm let out a thunderous roar that almost triggered a sonic boom.

At that moment, the bloody long creature that was about to bite Grimm’s shoulder was completely frightened. After a cry of fear, its mouth at its tail quickly shrank back, intending to escape.

Even for a creature without much intelligence, it has fully felt the horror of a sorcerer, and dare not to challenge the will of a sorcerer.

Grimm lit an Eternal Flame in his hand.

In Grimm’s hands, the bloody long creature struggled. After burning it to ashes, Grimm threw it aside.

Gulp.

Not far away, Leafie which had witnessed Grimm’s alienation gulped instinctively.

As it saw Grimm who had returned to his normal face looked at its direction, it gave a scream.

“Ah! Dear Sorcerer Grimm, I don’t think we are compatible. I prefer a gentler guy.”

The parrot was frightened and hid behind Lou Linman’s head. Looking into Grimm’s eyes, Leafie felt like it was looking at some predator, which reminded it of some unpleasant memories.

On the contrary, Lou Linman looked as if nothing happened.

During the period of sorcerer-apprenticeship, she had seen too many sorcerer-apprentices trying to integrate all kinds of Hematology Sorcery with various appearances in pursuit of power.

Although what she had just witnessed was cruel and tyrannical, it wasn’t too exaggerating.

Obviously, Lou Linman only saw Grimm as someone who has integrated Hematology Sorcery into his body and wasn’t too concerned. She calmly greeted Grimm in sorcerer etiquette.

Grimm nodded to Lou Linman while ignoring the parrot.

The space on Grimm’s shoulder flashed and Myna stretched its head out from the Dimensional Gap. “Young Master, where is that creature?” asked Myna.

Myna looked like it was ready to run away again at any time.

Grimm pointed at the creature with his chin and said, “Don’t you see that?”

After Myna saw that the creature had been completely burned to ashes by Grimm, only it walked out of the Dimensional Gap and said, “Young Master, you are too kind to just give it such an easy death.”

“How dare you eat my Leaf Beast! I was going to get you on the experiment table and slowly use…”

After scolding and talking to itself for a while, Myna only noticed Leafie which was shivering behind Lou Linman.

Myna was slightly shocked and showed a disdainful look on its face.

“Such a coward! This is just my appetizer! I am the mighty Lord Myna! Who dares to offend me and I have more than eighteen million and eighty-eight types of torture ready. If any parrot is willing to kneel and apologize, maybe I will spare it a life…”

As Grimm picked up the fur of the long creature, he looked at the energetic Myna, it seemed to have forgotten about its sadness about the mud monster’s death.

“Waaa… all mynas are bad birds after all. I never want to talk to you ever again! Waa…”

Leafie sobbed and flew into Lou Linman’s ears, leaving Myna stunned on its own and murmured, “A bad bird?!”

Grimm had completely given up on anything related to Myna and parrot. He started to observe the fur in his hand closely.

Other than the mouth part and the small opening that Grimm cut through, the whole fur was completely airtight like a balloon.

Although the secret of the creature’s self-concealment lied in its soft long hair, what really caught Grimm’s attention was the sealed leather underneath the fur.

Perhaps, this would be Grimm’s clue to research on a self-sealing sorcery similar to Sister Quiet Spring’s.

In the worst-case scenario, Grimm could use this to develop a kind of self-concealing sorcery, which may be of great use in the future.

Feeling in joy, Grimm kept the fur into the Dimensional Gap.

“Well Sir Grimm, it seems like you have an amazing gain during this trip. Congratulations,” said Lou Linman with a smile.

“It’s not really anything amazing, just an unexpected gain. Let’s go. It’s time for the assembly. ”

As Grimm finished his sentence calmly, he took the lead and flew in front. Half an hourglass later, they reached the location of Thousand-eyed Carcinus.

Aside from Grimm’s team members, Alxa and her team members had all arrived. There were all waiting for Grimm and Lou Linman.

Everyone seemed to have gained something, and they were constantly looking down to study their findings while waiting.

Clack, clack…

Among the sound of metal chains friction, Grimm’s pupils shrank under his Mask of Truth.

Nairo also caught the same furry creature as him, studying it while pondering.
