The Fantastic Little Farmer

Chapter 94: Chapter 94: Don’t Run if You Have the Guts!

”N-no! We were just street racing!”

”Right, right, we were racing, so didn’t we just get into an accident?”

”How would we dare chase you down? It was a joke, just a joke...”

With long faces, they tried their best to placate Zhang Yun, hoping he wouldn’t pursue the matter.

”Then why did I hear you guys saying not to let me escape?” Zhang Yun swept his gaze over them. ”And who said they were going to make me eat cow dung?”

One of the punks immediately started trembling. This guy had made them eat dirt yesterday. Was he really going to make them eat cow dung now?

”N-no... someone just now said e-eat... eat beef noodles!”

”Right, right! We said we were going to eat beef noodles tonight! You might have misheard us from so far away. How would we dare say that to you...”

Zhang Yun lifted his foot and stepped right on Yellow Hair’s head. Yellow Hair instantly let out a miserable shriek.

He had just taken a terrible fall. His nose bridge was broken, the large lump on his forehead throbbed with intense agony, and his face was smeared with nosebleed. He hadn’t dared to move an inch, simply lying there playing dead. Now, with this stomp, the excruciating pain from his face, nose, and other injuries became unbearable.

The others watched, shivering in terror.

”What? Are you still trying to kill me?” Zhang Yun smiled savagely.

Aside from the one hopping on a single foot due to a broken leg, the rest dropped to their knees with a THUD.

”We wouldn’t dare, we wouldn’t dare! We absolutely had no such intention!” They were secretly glad they hadn’t drawn their knives. Now Yellow Hair was the one who couldn’t escape!

Zhang Yun looked down at them. ”It seems my lesson yesterday wasn’t enough for you.”

They instantly felt phantom pain radiating across their bodies. The welts from being whipped with willow branches yesterday hadn’t even fully healed yet.

Zhang Yun added, ”What did I say yesterday?”

They kept their heads bowed, not daring to look at Zhang Yun or even breathe too loudly. Yesterday, Zhang Yun had said he would give them one more chance, but if he heard they were still doing bad things, he would cripple their junk and turn them into modern-day eunuchs! Initially, they had thought it was just a fierce threat to spur their desire for revenge. But recalling it now sent shivers down their spines.

”Boss! It has nothing to do with us! It’s all his fault!”

”We used to be good students! He’s the one who led us astray!”

”He forced us to do bad things—extorting students, stealing electric bikes, swiping phones...”

”He was also the one who wanted to get revenge on you. We really wouldn’t dare! Please spare us!”

The looming threat of becoming eunuchs hovered over their heads, plunging them all into a panic. They immediately pinned all the blame on Yellow Hair, their voices almost breaking into sobs.

Yellow Hair was in immense agony. Hearing their words, he almost wanted to swing his knife at them, but his mouth was pressed flat against the asphalt, leaving him without even the ability to speak.

Suddenly, Zhang Yun lifted his foot. Was he going to let him go? Impossible! Yellow Hair tensed up completely, terrified that the next stomp would come crashing down viciously onto his head.

Instead, Zhang Yun stepped on his palm, directly crushing his pinky finger!

”AHHH!”

The nerves in the fingertips are connected straight to the heart. Unable to hold back any longer, Yellow Hair let out an unimaginably shrill scream!

The one with the broken leg was so startled that he fell flat on his rear, suffering secondary damage to his limb. The other kneeling punks kept their heads bowed; hearing that scream, they assumed Yellow Hair’s junk had just been obliterated! They practically wet themselves in terror and began kowtowing desperately.

”We’re sorry! We’re sorry! We’ll never do it again!”

Yellow Hair had dared to draw a knife on him. Breaking a nose wasn’t enough to vent his anger. Only after crushing a pinky finger did Zhang Yun feel satisfied.

He suddenly laughed. ”Whether you guys are good or bad is none of my damn business! But messing with me is just providing me with entertainment. I’ll torment you until you cry for your daddies! Keep playing gangster. Sooner or later, you’ll be thrown in jail, and the veteran inmates will tear your rears into sunflowers.”

None of them dared to move a muscle, terrified that they would be turned into sunflowers right then and there. The kneeling ones lowered their heads even further. If they ducked lower and protected their nether regions, they wouldn’t get kicked into eunuchs, right?

”Don’t go!” Yellow Hair, who had been screaming wretchedly, suddenly shrieked.

”You still have a problem with this, huh?” Zhang Yun sneered. Seeing as his nose was broken and his face was scraped up, he had only crushed one of his fingers. Yet he was still defiant?

Yellow Hair’s hand with the crushed finger trembled. He didn’t lift his head, but he raised his other hand slightly. ”If you have the guts... don’t run! I’m calling people now. If you have the guts... let’s fight it out! If I’m scared of you... I’m a coward!”

The pain was excruciating. With his face pressed against the ground, speaking tugged at his injured skin and nose. The sharp agony caused his voice to sound incredibly high-pitched.

The kneeling delinquents shivered even harder. Had he developed a eunuch’s voice? Was it because he had been turned into a eunuch that Yellow Hair was acting so crazy and unafraid of death?

They prayed silently, begging not to be dragged down with him!

”Calling for backup, right? I can wait a few minutes for you. If you’re trying to stall for time, heh, I can afford to wait, but your injuries certainly can’t!”

Zhang Yun walked right over to the side of the road, sat down, and started scrolling through his phone.

Yellow Hair fumbled for his phone and wailed, ”Bro! Come save me quickly! I’m going to be beaten to death! I’m at the downhill slope by the middle school!” After saying that, he screeched again, ”Are you guys dead?! Help me up!”

The others stole a glance. Only after confirming that Zhang Yun wasn’t standing right next to them did they go over to help Yellow Hair. However, they were all injured themselves. How could those with fractured arms and legs possibly have the strength to support him? It took an immense amount of effort for them to help each other up. The others didn’t dare resist and simply sat on the ground with the guy who had a broken leg.

Seeing Zhang Yun playing on his phone nearby, Yellow Hair desperately wanted to pick up the knife from the ground and slash him! But at this point, although the pain was driving him mad, it also gave him a sliver of clarity.

This was absolutely no accident!

They often street raced up and down this slope and had never once gotten into an accident. How could they have crashed wildly even while braking? This kid must have played some kind of trick! Right before he crashed to the ground just now, his foot had also been tripped.

Zhang Yun glanced at him and smiled radiantly. ”The horn on your forehead has grown longer again. You can try crashing a few more times and see how long it eventually gets. Paired with your yellow hair, you look like a golden-haired unicorn.”

A golden-haired unicorn! Yellow Hair was so furious he wanted to hit someone!

Zhang Yun pointed a finger at him. ”This look of yours won’t last long. If I were you, I’d take a selfie and post it on my Friends Circle. Share your joke of a face so everyone can have a good laugh. You’ll definitely get a ton of likes!”

Yellow Hair spat out a mouthful of blood... Although he was angry enough to vomit blood, this was actually just a nosebleed.

”This look is great. The top part resembles a unicorn, your facial skin is scraped off, and there’s blood from your mouth all the way down to your chin... You’re a one-horned zombie! Very distinctive!” Zhang Yun pointed his phone directly at him. ”I’ll take a picture of you, free of charge!”

”AHHH!”

Yellow Hair let out a hysterical screech. This scream tugged at the wounds on his face and nose again, the pain driving him utterly insane.

The others watched Zhang Yun rub salt in Yellow Hair’s wounds, not daring to say or do a single thing. Otherwise, they would definitely be the ones getting mocked next. They were all thoroughly filled with despair. Right now, they only wanted to hurry to the hospital!

Fortunately, they lived right in town rather than in some distant village. In just a few minutes, several motorcycles arrived, charging straight down the slope and pulling up right next to them before stopping.

”Bro!” Seeing his kin, Yellow Hair immediately burst into tears. Pointing at Zhang Yun with tears streaming down his face, he sobbed, ”It’s this bastard! Hack him to death for me!”
