Daily Intelligence System: Don't Kill Me, Honey!

Chen Jie laughed and said, ”Master is a person of the Buddhist realm, naturally filled with compassion. I believe Master can do it.”

Upon hearing this, Dharma Ba chuckled and said, ”What if I refuse?”

Chen Jie replied, ”Then I shall accompany Master and pass the time, perhaps it might work.”

Dharma Ba listened, his eyebrows arched mockingly, ”There are still two and a half more hours until late noon. Do you think with your current strength, you can spar with me for two and a half hours? Indeed, if you solely wish to escape, I might expend some effort to kill you.”

”But if you wish to fight me here for two and a half hours, do you have the strength for that!”

With that, Dharma Ba suddenly stepped forward. At that moment, countless Sanskrit characters emerged from his body, slowly condensing behind him. Simultaneously, the air filled with Buddhist chants as if the entire world had turned into the Buddhist Country.

At the same time, behind him emerged a Vajra of the Buddhist realm. His Vajra was not like that of the Demon Slayer Monk; though powerful, it paled in comparison to the Vajra Dharma Form of Dharma Ba.

Because the Vajra Dharma Form Dharma Ba invoked was the paramount Vajra of the Buddhist realm, even holding the status of a Bodhisattva Level, the Vajra Warrior Weituo!

The hierarchy within Buddhism isn’t strictly followed by the ranks of Vajra, Arhat, Bodhisattva, and Buddha.

It is determined among the most outstanding who can be recognized cross-ranking, like Weituo among the Vajras who possesses the rank equivalent to a First-class Arhat and Lowest Level Bodhisattva.

A First-class Arhat refers to the orthodox Buddha’s Eighteen Arhats, like Subduing Dragon and Suppressing Tiger.

Just like among the Arhats, the top-level Dragon Subduing Arhat holds the treatment equivalent to a First-class Bodhisattva and Lowest Level Buddha.

Furthermore, top-level Bodhisattvas like Guanyin and the Womb of the Earth Bodhisattva possess statuses surpassing those of ordinary Buddhas, for sure a higher status than Joyful Buddha and the likes.

This is quite a vague concept.

And Weituo exemplifies this, he represents the Vajra Warriors of Buddhism, yet his status is undoubtedly higher than that of the regular Arhat, comparable to the Lowest Level Bodhisattva.

At this moment, Dharma Ba invoked his Dharma Form, the Weituo Vajra Buddha Statue.

Instantly, a young protector god in golden armor appeared behind him, his expression solemn and resolute.

He wielded a Vajra Pestle in his hand; the Treasure Pestle striking the ground seemed to possess the power to destroy all evil forces of the world.

His eyes electrifying, glaring at Chen Jie, with eyes that trembled one’s courage!

At this moment, Dharma Ba stepped forward, the Sanskrit characters in the air began to retract, transforming directly into a Golden Dragon finally manifesting behind the Weituo statue.

Imposing a terrifying force directly towards Chen Jie.

Chen Jie felt this dreadful Heavenly Might, his gaze focused, a virtual image of the Fire God appeared behind him, Fire God Zhu Rong emerged directly to the heavens, filled immediately with infinite intense flames, now staring at Weituo.

However, his form was too small to rival Weituo. Seeing this, Chen Jie actively guided the Spring God to merge into the Fire God’s form, providing powerful support to the Fire God.

The Fire God suddenly elevated its form, reaching the shoulder height of Weituo; though still half a head shorter than Weituo, in terms of imposing threat, it was already sufficient to challenge Weituo.

Dharma Ba feigned a punch with his right hand, fiercely striking into his left, with a booming sound, Weituo wielded his Vajra Pestle and struck down to the ground, boom, earthshaking.

A golden Buddha Light swept across, Chen Jie noticed, with a focused glance, the Fire God Zhu Rong behind him suddenly drew a Fire Sword, directly blocking the sweeping golden light.

Boom...

The golden light swept out, blocked by Zhu Rong’s Fire Sword.

A thunderous sound shook Chen Jie backward, while the remaining golden light swept through the entire forest, the forest began to shake, tens of feet in radius, all trees were cleanly cut down.

Feeling Dharma Ba’s formidable power, Chen Jie’s face turned somewhat grave.

Is this the strength of the Buddhist realm’s first Vajra? Certainly powerful.

At this moment, Dharma Ba looked at Chen Jie and said, ”Chen Jiusi, tell me now, do you still believe you can stop me?”

Chen Jie looked at Dharma Ba’s arrogant yet confident face, contemplated for a moment, and said, ”Though I hate to admit, yet one must acknowledge, you are indeed strong, Dharma Ba!”

”To hold you off for two and a half hours, without the aid of external forces, is truly rare.”

Chen Jie was rather honest, admitting straightforwardly that this task was rather rare.

Dharma Ba listened to this and looked at Chen Jie, ”Since you know it’s difficult, do you have any last words to say?”

Chen Jie seemed slightly startled and said, ”Last words? No, no, I think you misunderstand somewhat; although I cannot defeat you, it doesn’t imply I cannot hold you off, nor does it mean I will die by your hands!”

Hmm?

”You still refuse to admit defeat!”

Dharma Ba looked at Chen Jie’s face full of questions; why continue refusing even at this stage!

Chen Jie looked at Dharma Ba and said, ”Sometimes, human strength is elusive; it is common to acknowledge there are people stronger than you. Yet, facing powerful opponents, one shouldn’t think of combating directly as direct confrontation may not succeed; knowing your ultimate goal suffices, and my ultimate aim is to stall you here for two and a half hours. As long as I can achieve this aim, I can manage anything else.”
