Reverend Insanity: Dream Gu

Lin Yan then asked, ”Do you know how to manage a blessed land?”

Sun Cu thought for a moment. He truly had no clue about managing a blessed land yet. After all, he had only just become a Gu Immortal and had not even fully understood his own situation.

He sincerely cupped his hands and asked, ”Friend Lin, please guide me.”

Lin Yan pretended to hesitate for a moment before speaking. ”To give proper advice, I first need to understand the exact condition of Senior Sun’s blessed land. Only then can I judge the situation correctly.”

”Moreover, a blessed land is the greatest secret of every Gu Immortal.”

Hearing this, Sun Cu immediately understood another important point. A blessed land was the core foundation of a Gu Immortal and could not be casually exposed.

”The blessed land covers a total area of 3,533 square kilometers, and time flows at fifteen to one, meaning one day in the outside world equals fifteen days inside the blessed land. It currently produces twenty-three beads of green grape immortal essence each year.”

Lin Yan silently calculated in his heart. Judging from these initial figures alone, Blessed Land had already reached the level of a medium blessed land and was even close to the standards of a large grade blessed land.

After that, Lin Yan began explaining the standards of blessed lands one by one.

”After a Gu Master becomes a Gu Immortal, the quality of their blessed land is usually divided into four grades.”

”The lowest is a low-grade blessed land. These generally cover no more than two thousand square kilometers. They draw only a small tributary from the River of Time, so the time flow inside is usually below ten to one. Their annual production is also relatively low, normally around a dozen beads of green grape immortal essence each year.”

”Above that is a medium size blessed land. Their size usually ranges between two thousand seven hundred to four thousand square kilometers. They draw a medium tributary from the River of Time, allowing the internal time flow to reach around twenty to one. Because of this, the blessed land develops much faster, and the annual production of immortal essence generally exceeds twenty beads of green grape immortal essence.”

”Then comes a large-grade blessed land. These are far rarer. Their area can reach up to six thousand square kilometers, while the tributary they draw from the River of Time is much larger. Time inside usually flows at around thirty times the outside world.”

”At this level, the blessed land’s foundation becomes extremely abundant. Not only can it produce over thirty beads of green grape immortal essence every year, but there is often excess Heaven and Earth Qi remaining after Immortal Ascension. That surplus qi can even be used to refine Immortal Gu.”

Sun Cu listened attentively, his expression gradually becoming more serious.

Lin Yan continued, ”As for Super grade blessed lands, they are the rarest of all. Their area can exceed six thousand seven hundred square kilometers to a massive thirteen thousand square kilometers. They draw giant tributaries from the River of Time and are fundamentally different from ordinary blessed lands.”

”Whether it is the amount of resources they produce, the speed of development, or the quantity of immortal essence generated, they far surpass the previous grades.”

”Of course, these standards only refer to the initial state of a blessed land immediately after Immortal Ascension.”

”A Gu Immortal’s blessed land is not fixed forever. As cultivation increases and Dao Marks accumulate, the blessed land itself will continue expanding and strengthening.”

”Proper management is also extremely important. Different cultivation paths produce different environments and resources. Certain Immortal Gu, immortal materials, and killer moves can further accelerate the growth of a blessed land.”

”Because of this, the management of a blessed land is considered one of the core foundations of Gu Immortal cultivation.”

Lin Yan guided Sun Cu for two reasons. On one hand, he wanted to probe Sun Cu’s true foundation and overall strength. On the other hand, he wanted Sun Cu to accumulate wealth as quickly as possible.

There was no helping it. Although Sun Cu had inherited a Gu Immortal inheritance, he still underestimated the terrifying cost and difficulty of refining Immortal Gu. Once the time came to refine a Flame Path Immortal Gu for Lin Yan, he would naturally realize just how enormous the price truly was. If the pressure became too great, he might even look for an excuse to withdraw midway.

For a Gu Immortal, refining an Immortal Gu of the same rank was an undertaking filled with danger and staggering expense. In the original novel, even Fang Yuan had nearly exhausted all his resources refining only two Rank 6 Immortal Gu while he was still at Rank 6.There were countless similar examples throughout the novel.

Moreover, Lin Yan also wanted to gain practical experience in managing blessed lands and prepare for his own future development.
