Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2663: Chapter 2663: Not a Single One Is Allowed Out!

This is also why the prefect brought people here, desperately trying to find them. He wanted to push them to the forefront.

Thinking about this Ying City prefect, he truly is a talent. What he doesn’t dare to do himself, he wants to throw onto the two princes as if they are fools to be taken advantage of?

If such a prefect remains in a high position, the people of Ying City will not have a good life in the future.

Taking advantage of this occasion, it’s time to clean up and clear things out. Of course, this matter should be handled by Gong Jian. As for An Jiuyue and himself, they could just watch from here.

...

”Rest assured, everyone. I will certainly punish the Yu family mother and son severely, and seek justice for the people of Ying City. There will be no leniency.” At the government entrance, Gong Jian almost pounded his chest in assurance.

He had also heard why there were so many people gathered at the government entrance, and his understanding of the Dowager Consort Yu and her son reached a new height.

”Ten days. I will handle this case within ten days and will certainly provide an explanation to everyone by then.”

After providing several assurances, the citizens gradually left without lingering at the government entrance, while Gong Jian watched the departing figures with a nameless anger in his heart.

This prefect of Ying City, is he just sitting on his hands? The citizens gather at the government entrance seeking justice from the lord, yet aside from the government officials, not a single officer came out to stop or persuade, really...

After persuading all the citizens to leave, he turned around and looked at the government officials who were watching him with panic in their eyes.

”Take me to see your prefect.” He said coldly.

He wanted to see what this prefect was doing, not addressing such a simple thing, hiding inside the government office like a turtle?

”Yes, yes, Lord, I’ll take you right away.”

The government officials dared not say a word against it and immediately led him into the government office.

Before the arrival of Lord Gong, they were also complaining, leaving them outside to guard, listening to the citizens plead for justice, but they are not big officials, can they seek justice for the citizens?

After sending people inside several times to report to Lord Prefect, there was no response, still letting these officials stand outside and guard.

Previously, they knew the prefect was a fence-sitter, but now they know he is indeed low, not even treating these officers as people, not afraid of the citizens going insane and stepping over their bodies to rush into the prefectural office?

Even if they have to bear it, they have to see if they can bear it!

”Is that uncle the Gong Jian uncle that mother and father talked about? Finally, he persuaded everyone to leave.” Little Qian Yinuo shrank behind a pillar, saying to his two little brothers.

”I thought they would rush in just now.” An Jiuyue also patted his chest, saying.

It’s understandable that father and mother aren’t handling this matter—it’s not something they should manage. But for the prefect here, as well as the other officials in the government office not to handle it, it’s really unreasonable.

”All those lords should be thrown into prison, not a single one should be let out!” he said.

”Exactly, Brother Xing, what do you think? They’re obviously trying to push everything onto mother and father, really too bad.”

Qian Yinuo pouted his small mouth, angrily saying.

”Uncle Gong Jian will investigate them all; by then, whoever is negligent and whoever has done bad deeds will be found out and thrown into prison, locked up together with the Dowager Consort Yu.”
