Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 1036: Chapter 1078: The Feeling of Being Cherished

”Hurry up and let’s go, I’m a bit impatient!” Ling Yueyue said, grabbing Huo Junmo’s hand and leaving.

The two left the hotel and found a nearby breakfast shop to eat a little something before taking a bus to the beach!

Although they had a dedicated car prepared, for a more enjoyable and carefree experience, they chose to take the bus and taxi. This way, they could have fun and explore the scenery!

After about an hour on the bus, they finally reached their destination!

Ling Yueyue, holding Huo Junmo’s hand, ran to the beach, looking at the endless ocean that seemed to connect with the sky. She couldn’t help but spread her arms, close her eyes, and take a deep breath, exclaiming excitedly, ”Wow... the ocean is so beautiful, blue, and boundless. Even the sea breeze feels warm on my skin, so refreshing, it’s truly comfortable!”

Huo Junmo, smiling quietly, walked over to Ling Yueyue and reached out to embrace her shoulder, facing the ocean together.

”You know, I used to watch others play at the beach on TV and felt so envious! Back then, I thought how great it would be to play at the beach just once. I didn’t expect my dream to come true today! All thanks to you, you’ve given me so many firsts! Thank you, my dear Mr. Huo!” Ling Yueyue said, unable to resist hugging Huo Junmo’s neck, standing on tiptoe and kissing his thin lips firmly!

Huo Junmo tightly held her waist, dotingly saying, ”As long as Mrs. Huo likes it, I’m willing to give you more firsts!”

”You’re so good to me!” She said, again kissing Huo Junmo’s thin lips firmly!

”Let’s go! Let’s change into swimsuits. It’s still early and there aren’t many people. If it’s crowded later, we’ll have to queue up!” Huo Junmo gently flicked Ling Yueyue’s petite and upturned nose, took her hand, and led her toward the changing rooms by the beach!

After changing into swimsuits and getting a locker key in the changing room, they stored all their belongings in the locker and headed to the beach, hand in hand!

Before going into the water, Huo Junmo asked with concern, ”Can you swim?”

”Yes, I can! I’ve never swum in the sea before, but I’ve gone to pools with Anxin and played by the river in Jin City! My swimming skills are top-notch!” She said self-mockingly, puffing out her chest!

Upon hearing this, Huo Junmo nodded satisfactorily, ”Okay! Let’s get into the water!”

”Haha! Let’s go, let’s get into the water together!” Ling Yueyue excitedly pulled Huo Junmo’s hand, dragging him into the sea!

First time interacting with the ocean, Ling Yueyue was very excited. At first, she could hold hands with Huo Junmo and play together! But as they ventured further, she gradually ignored Huo Junmo’s presence, thoroughly enjoying herself in the water, forgetful of even Huo Junmo!

Despite this, Huo Junmo remained diligent, never letting her out of sight. No matter where Ling Yueyue went, he silently followed!

Ling Yueyue was aware of her current condition, being pregnant, and couldn’t play too long in the water or exert herself too much, fearing harm to the fetus. Therefore, after feeling a bit tired, she didn’t push herself. She got to shore to lie on the sand, drink coconut juice, sunbathe, and enjoy the sunshine!

After feeling less tired and sufficiently rested, she would go back into the sea again!

Since they arrived early, the beach wasn’t crowded at first! By noon, more and more people came, and there were more activities to enjoy!

While Ling Yueyue was lying on the beach, occasionally, two blond, blue-eyed handsome foreigners would come over to chat, but Ling Yueyue would chase them away!

When they got hungry at noon, Huo Junmo bought meals for Ling Yueyue near the beach!

The beach mostly had seafood, knowing Ling Yueyue couldn’t eat seafood, Huo Junmo specially walked farther to buy her some Chinese food!

After eating, the two strolled hand-in-hand on the beach to aid digestion! Once they felt digested enough, they played in the water again!

Time slipped away quietly; happy times always seem to fly by! Before they knew it, it was afternoon! Ling Yueyue felt tired from playing, so she and Huo Junmo took a shower in the changing rooms, changed into clean clothes, and prepared to return to the hotel!

Knowing Ling Yueyue was tired, this time, they didn’t choose to take the bus or taxi. Huo Junmo had called the driver more than an hour earlier, and the driver was coming to pick them up!

On the way back to the hotel, Ling Yueyue leaned tiredly on Huo Junmo, watching the street scene outside, laughing and saying, ”Mr. Huo, I am so happy today, really so happy! Not just because I had fun but because the person beside me is you! You know, being cared for by someone feels really good!”

Though she played all day, she noticed, regardless of time or place, Huo Junmo was always silently by her side!

At noon, he even went farther away to buy Chinese food for her!

She saw his thoughtfulness and care and felt warmth in her heart! She really enjoyed the feeling of being cherished by him!

Huo Junmo spoke sincerely from his heart, ”You are my Mrs. Huo, I don’t care who you are careful for!”

Ling Yueyue cautiously asked, ”If... I’m saying if, if your Mrs. Huo wasn’t me, but another woman, would you treat her so well too?”

Huo Junmo seriously thought and replied, ”When two people marry, aren’t they supposed to love each other? A husband being good to his wife is perfectly normal!”

”So, you’re saying it doesn’t matter who marries you, you’d be this good to her, right?” Ling Yueyue asked, looking up at him with eager eyes.

She admitted, she was getting greedy now! She wanted his goodness to be because his wife was Ling Yueyue, not just any woman!

This way, she’d feel, he cared for Ling Yueyue the person, not just his titular Mrs. Huo!

Huo Junmo lowered his eyes, puzzled, ”Why are you suddenly asking this today? Is there a difference?”

Ling Yueyue said stubbornly, ”Yes! It’s a big difference! If you’d be good to any woman who marries you, then your goodness isn’t particular to me, Ling Yueyue! Your goodness would be for your wife, not for me, Ling Yueyue!”

Huo Junmo argued reasonably, ”Isn’t my wife Ling Yueyue? Whether my goodness is for Mrs. Huo or for Ling Yueyue, isn’t it all for you?”

Ling Yueyue withdrew from Huo Junmo’s embrace, shook her head firmly, insisting, ”No, that’s wrong! You’re wrong! Mrs. Huo is Mrs. Huo; Ling Yueyue is Ling Yueyue. Now they seem like one person, but they’re actually two different people!”
