Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 1024: Chapter 1066: Faking Illness

”Yes...!” Seeing Huo Jiantian’s stomach hurting for no reason, and hurting so badly, the housekeeper became anxious and quickly picked up the landline on the coffee table next to the sofa to dial the family doctor’s number!

Huo Jiantian grabbed Huo Junmo’s clothes, his little face twisted, and tearfully said, ”Daddy, my stomach hurts so much, am I going to die? Will I never see you again? Daddy...! I’m only five years old, I don’t want to die, I can’t bear to leave you, and I can’t bear to leave my evil stepmother!”

Huo Junmo frowned tightly, gently patted his head, and comforted him softly, ”Don’t say such silly things! It’s just a stomachache; it will be fine once it’s treated! Don’t worry!”

Ling Yueyue was moved to the point of having red eyes when she heard Huo Jiantian still saying he couldn’t bear leaving her at this time. She held Huo Jiantian’s small hand tightly and smiled to comfort him, ”Yes! Tiantian, your dad is right. Your stomachache might just be because you ate something bad. Once the doctor comes and checks it out, it’ll be fine! Don’t worry!”

”But, my stomach really hurts... it hurts so much that I feel I’m going to die!” Saying this, Huo Jiantian’s little face twisted even more!

Seeing him in such pain, Ling Yueyue urgently grabbed Huo Junmo’s arm and said, ”No, I think Tiantian must be sent to the hospital immediately! While waiting for the family doctor to come, we could have already sent Tiantian to the hospital! Stomachache can be serious or minor, he definitely must get checked at the hospital to see what’s really going on! What if it’s acute appendicitis? We can’t delay!”

After listening to Ling Yueyue’s words, Huo Junmo’s face sank, and he hurriedly bent down to pick up Huo Jiantian from the sofa.

However, before he could touch Huo Jiantian, Huo Jiantian quickly waved his hand and said, ”No need, it’s just a stomachache, no need to go to the hospital, I’ll wait for the family doctor at home! I think I just ate something bad, once the family doctor comes and prescribes some medicine, it’ll be fine!”

Ling Yueyue didn’t think much, only assuming that Huo Jiantian was too young to understand the seriousness of the matter, and quickly said, ”No, we must go to the hospital to have a look! Even if the family doctor is skilled, there are no equipment at home, and the medicines are incomplete! He may not be able to diagnose your illness! So, we should go to the hospital, just to be sure! If it’s just eating something bad, that’s the best! But, if it really is appendicitis, then it will be troublesome!”

Huo Jiantian blinked his eyes and innocently asked, ”If it’s appendicitis, what will happen?”

Ling Yueyue explained, ”If it’s acute appendicitis, a surgery is needed! But don’t be afraid, it’s just a minor surgery, very simple, not painful! You don’t need to worry! Once the surgery is over, you will be fine and won’t feel any pain!”

Upon hearing that surgery was needed, Huo Jiantian immediately panicked, ”What surgery! I don’t want, I don’t want surgery, I don’t want to be cut!”

Standing next to the sofa, watching Huo Jiantian, a hint of suspicion flashed in Huo Junmo’s eyes, and the anxiety on his face gradually faded, replaced by an imperceptible frown.

Ling Yueyue just simply thought that Huo Jiantian was young and scared of the surgery, being frightened, so he reacted so strongly, and quickly comforted, ”It’s okay, don’t worry, it’s really just a minor surgery, not painful! I can accompany you in the hospital!”

”I don’t want, I don’t want surgery, I don’t want...!” Seeing Ling Yueyue seemingly determined to let him have surgery, Huo Jiantian was completely scared!

Ling Yueyue hadn’t fully understood the situation, while patting Huo Jiantian’s head, patiently coaxed him, ”Tiantian, be good, okay? Don’t be afraid, your dad and I will take you to the hospital right away! Luckily, it’s not far from here, only about twenty minutes to get there! Let’s go quickly! Don’t waste time, the more you delay, the more dangerous the situation becomes!”

”No, no...! My stomach isn’t hurting anymore, I don’t want surgery, I don’t want to go to the hospital!” Saying this, Huo Jiantian actually sat up from the sofa!

Seeing this, Huo Junmo’s tightly knitted brows gradually relaxed, the suspicion in his eyes disappeared without a trace, replaced by a hint of realization!

Ling Yueyue glanced at Huo Jiantian and still didn’t notice anything strange, holding Huo Jiantian’s hand, gently said, ”Tiantian, stop fooling around! If you’re uncomfortable, you have to go to the hospital! Holding it in will only make the illness more severe! Be good, I’ll take you to the hospital, it’s just a check-up, no big deal!”

”I’m really okay, look, I can even bounce to show you!” Saying this, to make Ling Yueyue believe, he specially bounced twice on the ground after getting off the sofa!

Seeing him like this, Ling Yueyue froze for a moment, subconsciously frowned, looked at him questioningly, and asked, ”Are you really okay?”

Huo Jiantian nodded solemnly and said, ”Oh, I’m really fine! Look at me, aren’t I perfectly fine now?”

Ling Yueyue stared blankly at him in a daze, only after a while suddenly realized something, jumped up, twisted Huo Jiantian’s ear, and angrily said, ”You sly Huo Jiantian, you actually dared to fake illness to scare me, do you need a spanking! Do you know how worried I was about you just now! I almost carried you to the hospital!”

”Oh, oh, it hurts, it hurts...!” With his ear twisted by Ling Yueyue, Huo Jiantian immediately cried out in pain.

The first time being fooled, and it’s by a five-year-old kid, Ling Yueyue was furious, unconsciously increasing the strength in her hand, ”What do you mean it hurts? You little brat, you were acting quite convincingly, huh! Made me and your dad scared half to death! I say, were you bored after being full, why are you deceiving us?”

Seeing Ling Yueyue didn’t intend to let go of him, Huo Jiantian also got angry, ”It’s your own fault, who’s telling you to be so easily fooled! I just said my stomach hurt, and you were scared like that! You deserved it!”

”I deserved it? You little brat, wasted all my sympathy, made me worry about you for nothing! Watch how I deal with you!” Saying this, she sat on the sofa, pulled Huo Jiantian onto her legs, and started spanking him lightly on the bottom with her unharmed hand.

Because there was a pair of pants in between, plus Ling Yueyue didn’t actually hit hard, the pain on his bottom was entirely within Huo Jiantian’s threshold!

His bottom not hurting, Huo Jiantian’s voice became louder instead, ”You’re just dumb, look, Dad wasn’t as dumb as you! You’re dumb, don’t blame me!”

After hearing Huo Jiantian say this, Ling Yueyue suddenly remembered that from the beginning to now, besides when Huo Junmo initially showed great anxiety, didn’t he have no reaction later on?
