Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 1031: Chapter 1073: Testing the Waters

Seeing her gobbling down her food, Huo Junmo couldn’t help but gently remind her, ”Eat slowly! Your stomach is too empty, you can’t eat too fast, or else your stomach will be overwhelmed!”

Ling Yueyue stuffed her mouth full, eating while excitedly puffing out her cheeks, ”Haha, see, I said it’s because of the seafood! Look, I’m fine eating Chinese food!”

Huo Junmo looked her up and down with a light laugh and said, ”I’ve only ever heard of people getting indigestion from seafood, never heard of vomiting from it. Your case is quite special!”

”Hehe!” Ling Yueyue let out a dry laugh, her eyes flickering with guilt. ”I’ve never eaten seafood since I was a kid, maybe it was just the first time, so I’m not used to it! I’ll be fine when I get used to it later!”

Huo Junmo raised an eyebrow and gave her a thumbs up admiringly, ”You’re brave to eat it again after throwing up like that! I admire you!”

Ling Yueyue rolled her mischievous big eyes and said with a smile, ”Hehe, maybe in a few months I will be able to eat.”

The reason she can’t eat it now is because she’s pregnant! She believes that when the baby is born, she won’t have this reaction anymore! She swears that when the time comes, she will indulge herself to make up for the suffering today!

Huo Junmo smiled and didn’t say anything more, but continued to pick food for her silently, reminding her to eat slowly. Sometimes when he saw she seemed to be choking, he would pour her a glass of warm water.

Ling Yueyue ate and drank, and soon filled her empty stomach!

After eating and drinking her fill, Ling Yueyue felt much more energetic, the discomfort from the nausea had mostly dissipated!

Ling Yueyue patted her full stomach contentedly, glanced at Huo Junmo’s untouched bowl of white rice, then looked at the dishes she had nearly devoured, and with a shy smile said, ”I’m sorry, I was really too hungry just now and accidentally finished all the dishes, leaving you with nothing to eat! I’m really sorry, let me order more dishes for you!” Saying that, she prepared to call the waiter.

”No need! Aren’t there still dishes left? It’s enough!” Huo Junmo smiled, picked up his bowl and chopsticks, and started to eat elegantly.

”But, these... these dishes have almost been eaten by me, are they enough for you?” Ling Yueyue looked at the table, the dishes were almost finished, only a few scraps of vegetables remained!

Looking at these leftovers, Ling Yueyue felt a little guilty!

She was really too hungry just now, she only thought about eating and forgot that the man opposite hadn’t eaten yet! And she had already finished eating!

”I don’t eat much usually! This is enough! If not, I’ll order more!” Huo Junmo said indifferently, continuing to eat in a leisurely manner!

Ling Yueyue remained silent, just sitting there watching him eat!

Sure enough, he only had one bowl of rice, and after eating the leftovers she had, there was still some left!

Seeing this, Ling Yueyue lowered her head in frustration, ”Okay! You’re amazing, this is enough for you to eat!”

Huo Junmo picked up a napkin from the table, elegantly wiped the oil from the corners of his mouth, then drank a glass of water to rinse his mouth before saying, ”Are you feeling okay physically? How about canceling the shopping this afternoon and going home to rest well instead?”

Ling Yueyue refused without thinking, ”No way! We’re leaving tomorrow, if we don’t buy everything now, there’ll be no time to buy it tomorrow!”

Huo Junmo asked worriedly, ”Are you sure your body can take it?”

”No problem! I just ate everything I threw up, and rested for a while, I’m almost fully recovered! Besides, aren’t you here beside me? If I really can’t handle it, I’ll just have you carry me back! It depends on whether you’re willing or not!” Saying that, she winked at Huo Junmo flirtatiously.

”I would be delighted!” he said, standing up, walking to Ling Yueyue’s side, taking her hand and pulling her up gently, ”Let’s go! Let’s see what else you need, we can buy them all this afternoon!”

”Okay!” Ling Yueyue squinted her eyes with a smile, and hand in hand with Huo Junmo, they left the restaurant!

The two of them went to the parking lot and drove straight to the mall!

After parking the car, Ling Yueyue proactively wrapped her arm around Huo Junmo’s arm, contentedly saying, ”Doesn’t it feel like we’re a couple in love now?”

”Mm!” Huo Junmo smiled at her, his eyes and face full of satisfaction.

”Let’s go! Consider this our first real date, we must cherish it!” Saying that, they linked arms and took the elevator together!

Yesterday, since Ling Yueyue had gone shopping for the whole day, she had almost bought everything she needed. Today, they were to get the things forgotten, so there wasn’t much to buy. They walked leisurely, shopping along the way, and after buying, they would have the store send the items home!

Throughout the entire time, Huo Junmo silently followed by her side. No matter what she bought, he was only responsible for paying! Occasionally, when he saw she was tired, he would sit with her on a bench in the mall and massage her legs!

On the bench, Ling Yueyue put her legs on Huo Junmo’s lap without any image concerns, allowing him to skillfully massage her legs!

Ling Yueyue, on the other hand, was holding an ice cream, eating it with great enjoyment! While eating, she couldn’t help but say, ”Let me tell you, I’m twenty this year, and I’ve never thought there would be a day when someone would treat me so well! I feel so happy and content right now!”

Upon hearing this, a glint flashed in Huo Junmo’s eyes as he tentatively asked, ”What about your parents? Didn’t they treat you well?”

Suddenly hearing Huo Junmo mention her parents, Ling Yueyue was stunned for a moment, then immediately responded, forcing a smile with a slight bitterness, ”My parents? Because there are many younger siblings in the family, and I’m the oldest, I’ve always taken on the responsibility of helping my parents take care of them since I was little! So, my parents have always been more demanding and strict with me! They wouldn’t indulge me like you do, giving me whatever I want! Plus, the family situation wasn’t good, so I started working early to share the family burden, leaving them early, which makes it harder to feel their love!”

Huo Junmo glanced at Ling Yueyue with his deep eyes, saying meaningfully, ”But when I met your parents last time, I felt they cared about you and were quite nice to you! When we got married, they didn’t even ask for a bride price, only saying that I should treat you well!”

”...!” Hearing Huo Junmo’s words, Ling Yueyue didn’t react for a moment, after a while she remembered which meeting Huo Junmo was referring to!
