Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 1029: Chapter 1071: Going to the Hospital

Seeing the situation, Huo Junmo immediately stood up and followed her quickly.

Ling Yueyue ran all the way following the signs to the restroom and started vomiting intensely over the sink! Because most of the breakfast she ate in the morning had been digested, she was vomiting almost entirely water! By the end, when there was nothing left to vomit, she almost threw up her stomach acids!

Her once rosy cheeks turned deathly pale after all that vomiting!

She vomited for a very long time until her stomach was entirely empty, which finally brought some relief!

Ling Yueyue leaned over the sink, turned on the faucet, and continuously splashed cold water on her pale little face, gently patting it! After a while, she regained some composure, feeling like she was drained, unable to muster any strength.

Looking at her haggard and pale face in the mirror, Ling Yueyue blinked blankly!

What was going on with her? Why was she suddenly vomiting so violently for no reason? Being pregnant for over a month now, she hadn’t even experienced any morning sickness, not a single pregnancy reaction! Her whole body was not just normal compared to usual, but her appetite was better, and her body was healthier!

What happened today? Why was she suddenly vomiting like this out of nowhere!

She who had never vomited before was now deeply experiencing the agony of morning sickness! It was really fucking unbearable! Just now, she really thought she was going to throw up her whole stomach!

She was vomiting so severely and has been in the restroom for so long, she doesn’t even know how to explain it to Huo Junmo when she goes out? What if he gets suspicious?

Ling Yueyue washed her face with cold water again, shook her head vigorously until her spirit was somewhat restored, then stood up straight, wiped the water off her face, closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and walked out of the restroom.

As soon as Ling Yueyue stepped out of the restroom, she saw Huo Junmo standing outside. Seeing her come out, he immediately asked with concern, ”What’s wrong with you? Why would you suddenly vomit for no reason? Let me take you to the hospital!”

Ling Yueyue shook her head, weakly saying, ”No need! I guess my stomach got cold while sleeping at night, I feel much better after vomiting!”

Huo Junmo raised his eyebrow, smiling faintly, ”Cold stomach? Do you take me for a fool? In this season, would it even be possible to get a cold stomach?”

”...!” Ling Yueyue was taken aback, only then remembering that it was almost summer now, even not covering up at night wouldn’t make you feel cold, wouldn’t catch a chill at all! No wonder Huo Junmo didn’t believe it!

”Let’s go, I’ll take you to the hospital!” he said, taking her hand and pulling her outside.

”Ah, I said I’m fine! It’s just this, right? Ate too much, got stuffed, got a bad stomach, that’s all, isn’t it normal? Look at you, making a big deal out of it!” Hearing about the hospital, Ling Yueyue forcefully shook off Huo Junmo’s hand, her eyes flickering with guilt, standing rooted to the spot, unwilling to move.

Seeing that although her face was pale, her speech was energetically confident, Huo Junmo raised his eyebrows, asking noncommittally, ”Are you really okay?”

”Yeah! I’m fine! It’s just a bit of vomiting, nothing serious! After that vomit, my stomach’s empty, I’m really hungry now! Let’s hurry back and eat!” Saying this, not daring to look at Huo Junmo, she lowered her head, and walked past him towards their dining table position!

Huo Junmo took one look at her back and quickly caught up with her!

The two sat back in their original positions. Ling Yueyue took a sip of plain water to clear away the residual taste in her mouth, picked up the piece of shrimp she left on the plate, and had just placed it in her mouth, yet before she could even chew, the fresh seafood flavor hit all her senses in the mouth, causing the barely settled stomach to churn again.

”...!” Ling Yueyue froze, swallowed hard, trying to suppress the nauseating feeling in her chest! But, after a brief hold, she couldn’t, Ling Yueyue hurriedly spat out the shrimp in her mouth, hoping it would feel better! Unexpectedly, the discomfort in her stomach remained intense, no matter how she suppressed it, couldn’t hold it back, she dropped the shrimp again and ran to the restroom.

Huo Junmo furrowed his brow tightly, once again with a stern face chased after her!

This time, Ling Yueyue’s vomiting was even worse than before; during the first vomit, there was still a bit left in her stomach to throw up, but this time, there was nothing left to vomit, only some sour, foul-tasting yellow liquid!

”Ugh...!” Leaning over the sink, her small face flushed red from vomiting, she had nothing left to vomit, almost throwing out her internal organs! By the end, not even the yellow liquid was coming up, she was just dry heaving!

After a long while, the queasy feeling in her stomach finally slightly subsided! Ling Yueyue quickly turned the faucet on, cupping her hands under it to take a sip to rinse her mouth. After doing this several times, until the shrimp taste in her mouth completely dissipated, and her otherwise tumultuous stomach finally calmed down, feeling a lot more comfortable!

Ling Yueyue propped herself over the sink with her hands, her eyes were bloodshot, and the red flush on her face gradually faded away, turning back to a sheet of pale white!

If initially, she didn’t understand why she was vomiting, she now realized the reason!

The vomiting both times was because of eating shrimp! She had never eaten seafood since childhood, and she hadn’t eaten any after getting pregnant either! It seemed she couldn’t handle the freshness of seafood because of her pregnancy, so each time the shrimp entered her mouth, she couldn’t stand it and experienced vomiting.

This being her first pregnancy, never having vomited before, never reacting to anything! She read in pregnancy care books that many pregnant women react to specific things, and as long as they avoid those things, it would be fine! It seemed that for her, seafood was the trigger causing her reaction!

It was really bad luck today, foolishly deciding to have seafood out of the blue, and now look! Really vomited everything she possibly could from this one and a half months pregnant all at once!

Damn it! Rarely getting seafood, having just ordered so much seafood earlier, now it’s all going to waste!

If she forces herself to continue eating, she might just vomit her life away!

Once Ling Yueyue regained her composure, she washed her face with cold water again to stay awake! Although still feeling weak and powerless, Ling Yueyue still summoned her spirits and walked out of the restroom.

Just like last time, when Ling Yueyue walked out of the restroom, Huo Junmo was still waiting outside the restroom door! Seeing her come out, he immediately came up, touched her blood-drained little face, furrowing his brows tightly, and with concern said, ”I told you to go to the hospital before and you refused, but this time no matter what I will take you to see a doctor! Even if you’re overstuffed, or have a bad stomach, you shouldn’t be vomiting this severely!”
