Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 1012: Chapter 1054: Give Him a Surprise

Upon hearing this, a hint of surprise flashed across Ling Yueyue’s face, and she forced a stiff smile, saying, ”I didn’t expect that with your serious demeanor, you’d actually tell a cold joke!”

”...!” Huo Junmo glanced lightly at Ling Yueyue, then ignored her and directly placed her on the bed next to him.

Ling Yueyue, focused solely on attracting Huo Junmo, only then realized that during their conversation, unbeknownst to her, Huo Junmo had already brought her to the hospital!

This hospital is just across the street from the Huo Tian Group building! It’s very close; if one encounters a green light, it takes less than ten minutes to walk there!

Huo Junmo followed the doctor, carrying Ling Yueyue directly to the orthopedic department on the first floor of the hospital! Fearing he might touch Ling Yueyue’s wound, Huo Junmo placed her on the bed with extraordinary gentleness.

The doctor placed the medical kit on the desk nearby, starting to prepare while instructing Huo Junmo, ”Support her injured arm, I’ll go prepare!”

Ling Yueyue watched the doctor’s busy back and cautiously asked, ”Doctor, how should my arm be handled? It won’t need medication, right?”

”Of course, it’s so swollen; it definitely needs medication! I’ll check first to see if there’s a problem with the bone. If there’s a dislocation or fracture, we’ll need to correct it and apply a cast! If there’s no dislocation or fracture, I’ll just apply some muscle-relaxing and blood-activating medicine!” the doctor said, sitting at the desk while writing a prescription.

”How will you check? We won’t need an X-ray, will we?” upon hearing the doctor’s words, Ling Yueyue was startled!

If an X-ray is really needed, then the child in her belly would be impossible to keep! It’s said that the radiation from X-ray machines is significant!

”What’s there to fear from an X-ray? It’s painless and harmless!” Saying this, the doctor handed the prescription slip to Huo Junmo, ”Go and pay first, then bring the supplies, I’ll check her then!”

”Okay!” Huo Junmo nodded, taking the prescription slip and leaving.

Ling Yueyue kept secretly watching Huo Junmo until he was completely out of sight. She then softly said to the doctor, ”Doctor, no, I can’t get an X-ray! Also, those muscle-relaxing and blood-activating medicines can’t be used! I’m pregnant, it’s been over a month now. If I use those things, the child in my belly will be impossible to keep!”

Upon hearing this, a trace of surprise crossed the doctor’s face, and his gaze subconsciously drifted to Ling Yueyue’s still flat abdomen!

Fearing the doctor might not believe her, Ling Yueyue hurriedly emphasized again, ”Doctor, I’m telling the truth. I’m really pregnant! It’s just that my husband doesn’t know about it yet; I want to find a suitable time to surprise him! So, regarding my arm, just let it be! Over time, it will naturally heal on its own! Please don’t use medicine or get an X-ray on me!”

Seeing Ling Yueyue’s determined appearance, the doctor sighed helplessly, ”I’ll check you first, and if there’s no sign of fracture, I won’t use an X-ray or medication! However, if there’s even a hint of a fracture, then the child in your belly won’t be possible to keep! After all, children can be had again, but if your hands are crippled, that’s a lifelong thing!”

Upon hearing this, Ling Yueyue quickly laughed, ”Don’t worry, don’t worry, my arm definitely isn’t fractured, I’m very aware of my own situation! It’s just a little injury! In the past, I’ve often gotten injuries in fights with others; it’s normal, it’ll be fine in a couple of days!”

The doctor gave Ling Yueyue a complex look and said, ”This can’t be decided now! We’ll see after the examination!”

”Okay!” Ling Yueyue obediently nodded. Glancing at the door and seeing that Huo Junmo wasn’t back yet, she couldn’t help but remind again, ”Oh, doctor, my husband doesn’t know about this matter yet, I hope you can keep it a secret for me! I want to tell him on a special day and surprise him!”

The doctor replied professionally, ”We doctors have our professional ethics! If it can be kept hidden, I’ll keep it hidden for you! But if it can’t be hidden, there’s nothing I can do! I won’t personally inform your husband; everything will depend on the examination later!”

”Thanks, thank you!” Upon hearing this, feeling somewhat reassured by the doctor’s guarantee, Ling Yueyue nodded repeatedly, grateful.

As the conversation wrapped up, Huo Junmo returned!

Huo Junmo came in, handing the treatment slip and the bag in his hand over to the doctor.

The doctor placed the treatment slip in the desk drawer, took out a pair of disposable gloves from the bag, put them on, and walked over to Ling Yueyue, gently supporting her arm for the examination!

Every time the doctor moved or squeezed, Ling Yueyue was in pain, breaking into a cold sweat! But her mouth remained tightly shut, not daring to utter a word!

She was afraid that if she made a sound, the doctor would diagnose her arm as seriously injured and proceed with X-rays and medication!

Seeing her clearly in pain yet gritting her teeth to endure, Huo Junmo instinctively held onto her uninjured hand, concern in his eyes, ”If it hurts, it’s okay to cry out; it’ll make you feel better!”

Ling Yueyue shook her head, and big beads of sweat kept falling from her forehead!

Even so, she continued biting her teeth, pretending to be strong, ”It doesn’t hurt, not at all!”

Taking in her expressions, Huo Junmo sat on the bed, pulling her into his embrace, holding her hand tightly.

Due to the pain, Ling Yueyue instinctively grasped Huo Junmo’s hand back, her nails unknowingly sinking into Huo Junmo’s palm, leaving faint blood marks as her nails exerted excessive force! Bright red blood seeped along into the nail seams!

After the doctor finished examining Ling Yueyue, she felt like ages had passed! Her clothes were almost soaked through with sweat!

The doctor removed his mask and disposable gloves as he spoke, ”I checked you, and it’s just soft tissue damage, no bone involvement, so it’s not serious!”

Upon hearing this from the doctor, Ling Yueyue finally breathed a sigh of relief.

As long as there’s no fracture, everything is manageable!

Huo Junmo frowned, asking, ”No need for an X-ray? You’re sure about the diagnosis?”

The doctor replied seriously, ”If her arm was genuinely fractured, it would have some functional issues! For instance, she wouldn’t be able to extend it or bend it! Besides its swelling, there’s no problem at all! I guarantee there’s no fracture, just soft tissue damage caused by a heavy blow!”

Huo Junmo glanced at Ling Yueyue and reached out to wipe the sweat from her forehead, softly asking, ”What does the treatment involve? Prescribe whatever necessary, ensuring her arm doesn’t have any lasting damage!”
