Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 1034: Chapter 1076: All Grown Up?

This brat Huo Jiantian, no matter what she says today, he keeps sniping at her! Did he take the wrong medication or what!

She just wanted to show some friendliness as a stepmother today! But he goes on with his snarky remarks! Really deserves a good smack!

”You...!” Ling Yueyue began, ready to say something else, but then Huo Jiantian suddenly turned around to look at her, impatiently saying, ”Alright, it’s early morning, why do you have so much to say? Can’t you see I’m watching TV? You’re chattering like a sparrow around my ears, making it impossible for me to concentrate on the TV!”

”You...!” Being shouted at so bluntly by Huo Jiantian, Ling Yueyue was instantly infuriated, ready to reach out and twist his ear, but as her hand stretched out, she thought better of it and pulled it back! Then she closed her eyes, taking deep breaths repeatedly, desperately telling herself in her heart not to stoop to his level, not to get angry, he’s just a kid!

After such a round of self-consolation, Ling Yueyue barely managed to suppress the anger in her heart, opened her eyes, reluctantly tugged at the corner of her mouth, kept a distance from Huo Jiantian, and silently sat alone beside him, dazing off!

It wasn’t until Huo Junmo came down that she cheerfully greeted him, ”Honey, finally you’re down! When do we leave? Should we go early? What if we get stuck in traffic on the way to the airport?”

Huo Junmo nodded and said, ”Yes! We’ll leave after breakfast!”

”Great! Let’s have breakfast quickly! I can’t wait to get out! I’ve never gone out to play before, it must be so much fun!” Saying that, she pulled Huo Junmo towards the dining room!

Watching their backs, Huo Jiantian pursed his lips gloomily, turned off the TV, threw down the remote, and followed them to the dining room to sit down.

After the three of them had breakfast together, before Huo Junmo could speak, Huo Jiantian wiped his mouth and proactively said, ”Dad, you and the evil stepmom need to catch your flight, so don’t bother dropping me off at school! Just let the driver take me!”

At Huo Jiantian’s words, Ling Yueyue was genuinely surprised, looking at him incredulously.

This brat, what did he eat wrong today! Why does it feel like he has completely changed, suddenly becoming mature and obedient!

If she wasn’t sure it was only one night, she would have thought a few years had passed! Huo Jiantian suddenly grew up!

If he can always be this sensible, that would be great, just don’t revert to the old ways in a couple of days!

”Okay!” Huo Junmo nodded satisfactorily, then told the butler, ”Go tell Old Tu to take young master to school! And let Old Liu take us to the airport!”

”Alright, I’ll arrange it right now!” The butler nodded and turned to leave!

”Dad, I’m heading out! Have a great trip!” Saying that, he waved at them with a smile, went back to the living room, picked up his backpack, and left!

Watching Huo Jiantian’s departing back, Ling Yueyue couldn’t help but say, ”Mr. Huo, what you said to him yesterday really worked! Look, today he seems like a completely different person, matured so much overnight, I hardly recognize him!”

Huo Junmo chuckled, helplessly saying, ”Mrs. Huo, we have no time, we must head out now! Otherwise, we’ll really miss the plane!”

”Oh! Okay, I’ll go upstairs and change clothes now, then we’ll leave right away!” Ling Yueyue nodded excitedly, ran upstairs, took out the clothes she had prepared from the wardrobe and put them on, and then instructed a servant to carry their honeymoon travel gear downstairs.

The servant carried the suitcase and escorted Ling Yueyue to the villa door! At this point, Huo Junmo was already standing at the door talking to driver Old Liu, and when he saw her coming out, he immediately opened the trunk and put the suitcase inside!

”Let’s go!” Once the suitcase was placed, he held Ling Yueyue’s hand and together they sat in the back seat.

Old Liu drove Huo Junmo and Ling Yueyue to the airport, then hurried to retrieve their luggage from the trunk, escorting them to the VIP passage! Driver Old Liu only left after Huo Junmo and Ling Yueyue boarded the plane and departed.

Sitting in the airplane’s first-class cabin, Ling Yueyue could not contain her excitement, tightly gripping Huo Junmo’s hand, eagerly saying, ”Let me tell you, this is my first time flying. Every time I used to go back to my hometown, I would take the train or long-distance bus! I never thought that one day, I’d actually be able to fly! I’m really excited! Do you think once we’re in the air, we’ll truly see the clouds?”

Huo Junmo nodded, smiling, ”Yes! The airplane goes through the clouds!”

”That’s amazing! I’m so excited, really excited, my hands are trembling!” Saying this, afraid Huo Junmo wouldn’t believe her, she even placed her hand in front of him, shaking it deliberately.

Seeing her like this, Huo Junmo smiled and tightly held her hand, softly saying, ”Relax, today is your first flight, anytime you want in the future, I can take you along!”

Upon hearing this, Ling Yueyue’s eyes shone brightly, ”Really?”

Huo Junmo promised, ”Of course, I never lie!”

”You better keep your promise! I want to fly every year!” Saying that, she squinted at Huo Junmo with a smile, leaned her head on his shoulder, and excitedly looked out the window.

Soon, the plane took off! Gradually rising higher!

Ling Yueyue hurriedly leaned to the window, watching as the plane climbed higher and higher, gradually surpassing the treetops, then the tall buildings, all the buildings shrinking little by little, becoming tiny like ants, before disappearing from view! Soon after, the plane passed through layers of clouds!

Looking at the clouds resembling cotton candy, Ling Yueyue wanted to reach out and grab them, but the airplane window couldn’t be opened, so she could only scratch at the window twice with her fingers!

Seeing her like a child, Huo Junmo shook his head helplessly, his face and eyes full of smiles and affection!

Because Jin City and the Maldives are far apart, just the flight takes over ten hours! Ling Yueyue stayed excited for as long as she was on the plane, apart from meal times, her hands constantly leaning against the window, refusing to leave.

Upon arriving at the destination, once off the plane, seated in the car heading to the hotel, Ling Yueyue immediately fell asleep, exhausted.

At the hotel, she continued in a deep sleep, showing no signs of waking!

Left with no other choice, Huo Junmo had the driver carry the luggage to the presidential suite at the hotel’s top floor, while he carried Ling Yueyue all the way up!

Once at the hotel, Huo Junmo had the driver leave, and he gently placed Ling Yueyue on the bed, tucked her in! Then he went to the bathroom to take a shower, changed into clean shorts, lying beside Ling Yueyue, accompanying her to sleep.
