Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 394: Chapter 395: Drunk

Ye Anxin didn’t even think before confidently replying, ”No, of course not, we’re just ordinary friends!”

Upon hearing Ye Anxin’s response, the male classmates present were all visibly delighted!

Because Ye Anxin was only twenty-six years old, and the students were all in their twenties too, the age gap wasn’t wide!

So, they had a favorable impression of this gentle and kind teacher, as warm as sunshine!

However, there was always a god-like figure, the young master of the Tang Family, by their teacher’s side!

In Han City, who doesn’t know the Tang Family! Who dares to compete with the young master of the Tang Family for a woman unless they have a death wish!

Therefore, everyone could only bury their affection for Teacher Ye deep in their hearts! Today, they deliberately took this opportunity to get Ye Anxin drunk, hoping to find out her true feelings!

Upon hearing her denial of any relationship with the Tang Family’s young master, they were thrilled with the thought of being able to openly pursue Teacher Ye in the future!

”Alright, alright, Ye Anxin is tired, let’s let Teacher Ye go home and rest!” Having obtained the answer they wanted, they didn’t force Ye Anxin to drink anymore!

”Alright! I’m leaving then! You guys have fun!” Hearing she could finally leave, Ye Anxin stood up unsteadily and waved to them.

”Teacher, let me walk you home!”

”Teacher Ye, let us walk you home!” The male classmates all stood up, vying to see Ye Anxin off.

”No need, I can go back myself! You all have fun!” Ye Anxin shook her head and wobbled to the door. She took her backpack from behind the door, opened the door, and staggered out!

”Teacher, we’ll walk with you!” They weren’t reassured letting Ye Anxin leave alone, so they hurried after her!

Ye Anxin waved her hand at them to indicate she didn’t need escorting, while walking toward the exit of the club!

Han City is a bustling place, everyone there particularly enjoys nightlife, so the later it gets, the more lively it becomes!

At this time, it should be busy outside the club with lots of people around! Thus, she wasn’t afraid of encountering any bad people, as she only needed to hail a taxi at the entrance to get home!

Ye Anxin thought this and planned to do just that!

But as she reached the door, a pair of warm large hands grabbed hers!

Ye Anxin looked up, following the hand to see a familiar handsome face in front of her!

Even though the face before her seemed to have several layers, constantly swaying in front of her eyes, Ye Anxin still recognized him at a glance, a broad smile appearing, ”Professor Su, why are you here?”

Su Yichen said gently, ”I came to pick you up! I knew you were attending the classmate’s birthday party today, so I was worried you might drink. I wasn’t at ease, so I came personally to get you!”

Ye Anxin chuckled, ”Thank you!”

”Let’s go! I’ll take you home!” Su Yichen held Ye Anxin’s hand, carefully supporting her down the steps and into the car that had been waiting at the entrance!

Only when the car drove away did the male classmates dare to step out from around the corner!

They stared in the direction where Ye Anxin left, looking at each other in confusion!

Didn’t Teacher Ye just deny any relationship with the young master of the Tang Family?

But their affectionate interactions didn’t seem as firm as just ordinary friends!

Try telling them that there isn’t any romance going on, they wouldn’t believe it!

......

Ye Anxin lived in the school staff dormitory, as she lived alone, she stayed in a small one-bedroom apartment!

Su Yichen helped Ye Anxin to the sofa in the living room, and then went to the bathroom to fetch some hot water, bringing it out and placing it on the coffee table in front of the sofa. He wrung out a towel in the basin and placed the hot towel on Ye Anxin’s forehead!

”Thank you!” Ye Anxin held the hot towel, only feeling a sharp pain in her temples!

Seeing her in such discomfort, Su Yichen couldn’t help but scold, ”If you can’t drink, don’t drink so much! Are you feeling unwell now? Don’t worry, I’ve already sent someone to buy sobering soup, it will be here shortly!”

Ye Anxin closed her eyes, nonchalantly saying, ”It was a classmate’s birthday, everyone had a great time, how could I spoil the fun by not participating?”

Su Yichen shot her a glance and gently said, ”Even so, you shouldn’t drink so much! Remember, don’t drink that much next time! It’s bad for your health!”

”Hmm! I know!” Ye Anxin responded lightly.

Although her temples were throbbing with pain, her mind continuously flashed back to those events from five years ago!

She wanted to forget, but found that those incidents seemed imprinted in her mind. No matter when or where, as long as she closed her eyes, she would remember the things that happened five years ago!

She would never forget the scene of her child being snatched from her arms with her own eyes, and she felt guilty and self-reproachful, which is why she used alcohol to numb herself today!

Now she realized, alcohol not only couldn’t make her forget, but instead, it made those memories even more vivid!

Unaware of Ye Anxin’s thoughts, Su Yichen removed the now cold towel from her forehead, put it back into the hot water, wrung it again, and placed it on Ye Anxin’s forehead!

After Su Yichen repeated this process a few times, the water in the basin had turned cold!

The person sent to buy the sobering soup had also returned!

Su Yichen asked him to place the sobering soup on the coffee table, then he helped Ye Anxin up from leaning against the sofa back, gently saying, ”Come on, I’ll help you up to drink some sobering soup. After drinking it, you won’t feel as uncomfortable!”

”Hmm!” Ye Anxin responded lightly, having no strength, she could only lean against Su Yichen’s shoulder!

Su Yichen sat on the sofa, one arm around Ye Anxin’s shoulder, and with the other hand, he picked up the sobering soup from the coffee table and brought it to her lips!

Ye Anxin opened her lips, obediently drinking up every last drop of the sobering soup!

After Ye Anxin finished the sobering soup, Su Yichen placed the empty bowl back on the coffee table and said, ”Done! You’ve had the sobering soup. Let me help you to bed for some sleep. Once you wake up, your head won’t hurt anymore!”

”I want to shower!” Ye Anxin tugged at her collar, feeling unbearably hot all over!

”Not today! In your current state, I can’t let you shower! Be good, take off your jacket and get into bed! I’ll help you into your room!” Su Yichen gently said, then helped Ye Anxin stand up, guiding her to the bedroom!

Ye Anxin didn’t resist, because she truly had no strength left in her body!

With her current state, she couldn’t possibly shower! She couldn’t ask Professor Su for help, so no matter how uncomfortable she felt, she could only endure it!

Su Yichen turned on the light in Ye Anxin’s room, helped her to bed, then took off her coat, carefully laid her down, took off her shoes, and covered her with a blanket!

After completing all these actions, Su Yichen stood by the bed, seeing Ye Anxin’s flushed little face and labored breathing, he reluctantly shook his head, turned off the bedroom light, and left!
