Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 355: Chapter 355: Narrow Encounter with an Old Foe

”Okay!” Mu Beiting agreed without hesitation!

”Let’s go!” Ye Anxin held onto Mu Beiting’s arm and took the elevator directly to the eighteenth floor, the baby brand floor!

As soon as they stepped out of the elevator, they hadn’t even walked two steps when they raised their eyes and saw two familiar figures walking towards them!

Ye Anxin’s face froze, and her good mood instantly disappeared!

Today is definitely a day I shouldn’t have left the house; I actually bumped into both Ruan Zhitong and Su Yuexin, my rivals!

Ye Anxin initially wanted to pretend she didn’t see them, pulling Mu Beiting towards the left!

However, the two people opposite had already seen them, smiling and walking over to greet them! Making it impossible for Ye Anxin to avoid them!

Ruan Zhitong and Su Yuexin walked up to Ye Anxin hand in hand. Ruan Zhitong spoke gently, ”Miss Ye, what a coincidence! I didn’t expect to meet you here!”

”Yeah! What a coincidence! But, my being here is normal, since this is the baby section! But why are you here?” Ye Anxin tightened her grip on Mu Beiting’s arm, and her words were sharp without her even realizing it!

For some reason, she always felt it was strange for the two of them to appear here!

This made her feel that their meeting wasn’t a mere coincidence but rather a deliberate arrangement!

Otherwise, how could it be such a coincidence! They just happened to be out shopping today, and they just happened to be here as well! Jin City is so big, with so many malls, why did they appear in the same mall! And both in the baby section! Is this a coincidence?

There’s no way there could be so many coincidences, okay!

Ruan Zhitong didn’t mind Ye Anxin’s sharp remarks, still smiling gently, ”It’s like this, one of my cousins is pregnant and about to give birth! As her cousin, naturally, I have to show some gesture, so I brought my junior along to help me pick out some things for her child! After all, I’ve never had a child myself and lack experience!”

”Oh! I see!” Hearing Ruan Zhitong’s explanation, Ye Anxin felt a bit embarrassed!

They were here to buy things for their cousin’s child, and she was suspicious of them, making herself seem very petty!

It’s just that she really can’t bring herself to like these two people!

She used to have a good impression of Ruan Zhitong! Now... it’s better not to see her; seeing her makes her want to hide!

Su Yuexin stood there, looking at Ye Anxin’s prominently pregnant belly, clenching her teeth, her eyes flashing with malice, wishing Ye Anxin’s baby could disappear forever!

Ruan Zhitong glanced at Ye Anxin’s belly and teased with a smile, ”Miss Ye, at Tiantian’s one-month party, I said you were pregnant, and you denied it! Now you can’t deny it, right? When are you due? The baby should be born soon, right?”

Ye Anxin blushed, touched her belly, and said embarrassedly, ”Miss Ruan, sorry, I didn’t mean to keep it a secret before! Mainly, there is a custom in my hometown; you can’t tell others within three months of pregnancy, otherwise, it’s feared the baby won’t be safe! So, I had to hide the news of my pregnancy! Sorry about that!”

Ruan Zhitong nodded in sudden realization, ”Oh! So that’s it! No wonder!”

”Miss Ruan, if there’s nothing else, my uncle and I need to go buy things for the baby! We can chat when we have more time!” Ye Anxin didn’t want to continue to engage with them, and after speaking, she was ready to pull Mu Beiting away.

Seeing them about to leave, Su Yuexin immediately spoke up, ”Ye Anxin, since we met, why don’t we go together! We’ve just arrived too and haven’t bought anything yet! With you here, at least you can give us some advice! The more opinions, the better!”

”...!” Ye Anxin was taken aback, just about to refuse, but before she could say a word, Mu Beiting coldly said, ”No need!” Then, without looking back, he pulled Ye Anxin away!

”Beiting, Beiting...!” Watching Mu Beiting resolutely leave, Su Yuexin quickly ran over and grabbed his arm!

”Get lost!” Mu Beiting impatiently shrugged her off with force, directly pushing Su Yuexin away.

”Ah...!” Su Yuexin exclaimed, staggered backward, twisting her ankle in her high heels, and fell to the ground!

Seeing her fall, Ruan Zhitong hurried over, ”Yuexin, are you okay? Are you hurt?”

Su Yuexin’s eyes were red, ignoring Ruan Zhitong, she just tearily watched Mu Beiting’s merciless back with grievance!

Despite the pain from her fall, Su Yuexin muttered to herself, ”Why? Why? I don’t understand why Beiting treats me like this? Why?”

Ruan Zhitong sighed and gently advised, ”Yuexin, let it go! If he’s not into you, don’t push it! A woman’s happiness is found in marrying a man who loves her. Love that hurts so much, it’s better to find a man who truly cherishes you!”

Su Yuexin shook her head, unwilling, ”I can’t accept it, I can’t! Beiting clearly loves me! I am the wife he personally chose; if he doesn’t love me, why would he marry me?”

”Come on, let’s go! If I knew we’d run into them today, I wouldn’t have dragged you here!” Ruan Zhitong reluctantly helped Su Yuexin up from the ground and slowly headed towards the elevator!

Even in the elevator, Su Yuexin kept looking back, reluctantly watching where Mu Beiting disappeared!

On the other side, after Mu Beiting shrugged off Su Yuexin, Ye Anxin couldn’t help but glance back at the embarrassed Su Yuexin!

Call her heartless or schadenfreude!

Anyway, when she saw her uncle ruthlessly dismiss Su Yuexin, she felt no sympathy but was rather pleased!

The worse her uncle treated Ruan Zhitong and Su Yuexin, the more comfortable she felt!

No matter how soft-hearted she was, she couldn’t soften towards her rivals!

So, after her uncle was cruel to Su Yuexin, her bad mood slowly improved!

Until the two of them walked into a maternity and baby store hand in hand, Ye Anxin’s full attention was attracted by the various beautiful baby clothes!

Looking at the clothes in the store, Ye Anxin liked every single one of them and bought a lot for the baby!

Luckily, baby clothes are the same, regardless of gender!

So when choosing clothes, Ye Anxin didn’t have much to struggle over!

After buying baby clothes, Ye Anxin also bought the baby a small bed, diapers, milk powder, bottles, and lots of little toys!

Even though she knew a newborn wouldn’t play with toys, she couldn’t resist buying a lot!

After she finished buying everything in one go, she gave the shop assistant her home address and had them deliver the goods directly to her home!

[Not feeling well, went to the hospital this morning, so the update was late! The third update is complete, I’ll add another Chapter shortly! Mwah!]
