Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 376: Chapter 376: Looking for a Chance to Escape

She is now locked in a room! The room has a bed and a wardrobe! And she is sitting on the bed, her body tightly bound with hemp rope!

Her feet are free, but her hands are tied behind her, unable to move!

Ye Anxin wants to find an opportunity to escape, but the whole room is empty, not even a glass shard. She can’t even untie the rope on her body, let alone escape.

Ye Anxin has been tied in the room like this for a whole day, and when she’s tired, she just moves a bit and lies down on the bed to rest!

Throughout the day, someone comes in at regular intervals to deliver meals and tea!

Ye Anxin is locked in the room and has no concept of time outside! She doesn’t even know if it’s day or night outside!

It wasn’t until the door to the room opened again and Su Yuexin walked in alone that Ye Anxin realized, without her noticing, a whole day had passed!

Su Yuexin leisurely walked to Ye Anxin’s side on the bed and said unhurriedly, ”So? Have you thought it through? Are you going to hand over the recording? If not, I’ll send you and your unborn child to the west! Your child is about to be born; you don’t want him to die before seeing the sun because of his selfish mother, do you?”

Ye Anxin rolled her eyes and said calmly, ”Fine! I’ll give you the recording!”

”Really? Where’s the recording?” She didn’t expect Ye Anxin to compromise so quickly!

She thought that, given Ye Anxin’s character, she would have to work hard to get the recording from her! She didn’t expect her to agree to hand it over so easily!

Ye Anxin said, ”I hid the recording in a very secluded place! I’ll take you there!”

Su Yuexin raised an eyebrow, questioning, ”You’ll take me?”

Ye Anxin nodded, speaking earnestly, ”Of course, the place is very large, the USB drive is very small, and I deliberately hid it. Even if I tell you the place, you won’t find the USB drive! Only if I take you and personally retrieve it for you! Otherwise...you searching will only be a waste of time!”

Su Yuexin stared into Ye Anxin’s serious little face for a while, and after confirming she didn’t seem to be lying, she nodded and agreed, ”Alright! You take me! But remember, don’t even think about escaping; everyone here is my people, and if you try to escape, I will definitely send you both mother and child to the afterlife!”

Ye Anxin calmly said, ”Rest assured, how could I escape with a pregnant belly? Even if I ran, I couldn’t outrun you all! I wouldn’t be that foolish!”

”Good that you have some self-awareness!” Su Yuexin nodded in satisfaction, then walked to the door, said something unknown to the people outside, and the bodyguards who had been guarding outside all walked in.

Ye Anxin counted carefully; there were ten people in total!

And at a glance, one could see they were all trained fighters!

Su Yuexin stood at a distance, waved her hand, and instructed, ”Take her away! Follow where she says!”

”Yes!” Everyone nodded, pulling Ye Anxin, who was lying on the bed, up!

Ye Anxin coldly said, ”Untie me!”

Upon hearing this, the bodyguards all looked towards Su Yuexin!

Su Yuexin walked over, displeased, and asked, ”Ye Anxin, just lead the way, why unbind you?”

Ye Anxin rolled her eyes at her, disdainfully said, ”You also know I’m pregnant! Now you’ve tied my hands behind me, I can’t even keep my balance, how am I supposed to walk? I can’t even see the road ahead! If you don’t believe me, try stuffing a pillow under your belly and see if I’m right!”

Hearing Ye Anxin’s words, Su Yuexin carefully stared at her bulging belly for a while, feeling she might have a point, only then did she allow the bodyguard beside to unbind her!

While the bodyguard was untying Ye Anxin, Su Yuexin still worriedly warned, ”Ye Anxin, I warn you, don’t think about escaping, or I won’t be kind to you!”

Ye Anxin let out a cold laugh, disdainfully said, ”Su Yuexin, if I remember correctly, you’ve already said this! With so many of you, are you afraid you can’t guard a pregnant woman like me? If so, why bother with kidnapping?”

”You...!” Su Yuexin’s face turned red with Ye Anxin’s snarky remark, she was obviously furious, but she had to hold it in!

This was not the time to offend Ye Anxin impulsively! If Ye Anxin changed her mind and didn’t hand over the recording, she couldn’t really kill her either!

Su Yuexin has done numerous bad things in her life, but she can’t bring herself to commit murder!

The words she said earlier were merely threats!

Su Yuexin forced down the anger in her heart, grit her teeth, and said, ”Take her away! Have her go in front, wherever she goes, we follow!”

The bodyguards nodded, with two controlling Ye Anxin from the left and right, and the rest led by Su Yuexin followed behind them!

After being confined for a whole day and night, Ye Anxin finally left the room that held her!

It was only after stepping out that she realized she had been kept in a small house on the mountain all along!

This house was surrounded by dense woods, not a hint of human habitation in sight!

Ye Anxin didn’t know how Su Yuexin found this house, nor did she care why there was such a house on the mountain; the only thing on her mind now was how to seize the opportunity to escape!

Su Yuexin seemed to see through Ye Anxin’s thoughts at a glance and laughed, saying, ”Ye Anxin, aren’t you curious why I would find such a good place?”

Ye Anxin just turned her head to look at her, without speaking!

Even though Ye Anxin didn’t ask, Su Yuexin still proudly said, ”Let me tell you, behind these woods is a large orchard, and this house is where the orchard keeper lives! I just gave them some money to let them lend me this house for a few days! How is it, isn’t it smart of me, Su Yuexin, to find such a good place?”

Ye Anxin sneered to herself, still not speaking!

She didn’t understand why Mu Beiting liked a woman like Su Yuexin, who thought she was so clever!

Could he really only care about appearances and never the inner self?

This doubt just flashed through Ye Anxin’s mind, and she didn’t dwell on it!

In her view, Mu Beiting’s business now had nothing to do with her! Whom he likes or dislikes has nothing to do with her!

The only thing she needs to do now is escape, and then divorce Mu Beiting! She wants freedom!

Ye Anxin, for more than a year, has lived in lies, and it’s time for her to wake up completely!

As she thought this, Ye Anxin quietly observed the surroundings, just waiting for the right moment to escape!
