Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 387: Chapter 388: Ye Anxin’s Unusual Behavior

Ye Anxin stared straight ahead, sneering, ”Ruin my relationship with Mu Beiting? Is there any relationship left to ruin between us? Why would the nurse want to ruin our relationship?”

”...!” The butler was at a loss for words in response to Ye Anxin!

Indeed! The nurse isn’t familiar with them, so why would she say something to ruin Madam and Sir’s relationship?

Could the rumor be true? Does Sir really want to marry Su Yuexin?

But if Sir is unwilling to divorce Madam at all costs, how could he marry Su Yuexin?

The butler couldn’t figure it out, no matter how hard he tried!

Throughout the journey, Ye Anxin didn’t say another word. Until she returned to the ward and lay back on her bed, she remained silent, her gaze vacant!

Seeing Ye Anxin like this, the butler felt a pang of sympathy but didn’t know how to console her!

A few days passed after that!

Mu Beiting still hadn’t appeared in the ward!

That day, after Ye Anxin finished her meal, she sat on the hospital bed and suddenly said, ”Butler, call Mu Beiting. I have something to say to him!”

This was the first time Ye Anxin had actively asked to see Mu Beiting in such a long time!

The butler thought she had come to a decision and couldn’t help but feel joyful, quickly taking out his phone to dial Mu Beiting’s number!

The call was answered after half a ring, and the butler eagerly said, ”Sir, Madam asked me to call you, saying she has something to say to you!”

Mu Beiting responded without thinking, ”Give her the phone!”

The butler nodded and handed the phone to Ye Anxin!

Before Ye Anxin could speak, Mu Beiting asked first, ”What do you want with me?”

Ye Anxin got straight to the point, saying, ”I want to see Su Yuexin. Have her come to the hospital to meet me!”

Mu Beiting frowned tightly, ”Why do you want to see her?”

Ye Anxin raised an eyebrow and mocked, ”Why? So nervous? Are you afraid I’ll harm your sweetheart? This hospital is full of your bodyguards inside and out. Don’t worry, I can’t harm her!”

Mu Beiting refused without hesitation, ”No way!”

Ye Anxin remained composed, unhurried, ”If you won’t let her come to see me, I’ll find a way to see her myself! Mu Beiting, you should know my character; if I set my mind on something, by any means possible, I will make it happen!”

Mu Beiting was silent on the other end for a moment before speaking, ”Fine, I agree!” With that, he hung up before Ye Anxin could speak further!

Having achieved her goal, Ye Anxin didn’t mind Mu Beiting hanging up, and handed the phone back to the butler!

The butler asked puzzled, ”Madam, why do you want to see Su Yuexin? She’s a vicious woman with bad intentions!”

For once, the usually silent Ye Anxin spoke to the butler, ”Butler, do you think once a man sets his eyes on a particular woman, he will like her no matter what kind of heart she has?”

The butler was taken aback, then shook his head, ”Not necessarily! I think a woman’s inner beauty is more important than her outer appearance!”

Hearing this, Ye Anxin couldn’t help but let out a cold laugh!

Even the butler knew to say this! But Mu Beiting couldn’t understand!

She couldn’t comprehend what exactly attracted Mu Beiting to Su Yuexin? Was it just because her appearance was purer than that of a lily?

A person whose appearance is as pure as a lily but whose heart is darker than ink, she really couldn’t understand the appeal!

Seeing the cold smile on Ye Anxin’s lips, the butler asked confused, ”Madam, why did you suddenly ask that?”

Ye Anxin turned her head, holding the butler’s hand, not answering his question, but instead suddenly saying, ”Butler, promise me that no matter what happens, you will take good care of my little young master!”

The butler laughed teasingly, ”Madam, what are you saying? The young master is my charge, of course, I should take good care of him! Besides, isn’t there you? With Madam by his side, who would dare to bully the young master!”

Ye Anxin couldn’t smile, gripping the butler’s hand tighter, stubbornly saying, ”Promise me, take good care of the little young master! Unless I hear you promise me with your own mouth, I won’t be at ease!”

Seeing Ye Anxin so earnest, the butler suddenly became serious too and vowed, ”Rest assured, Madam, no matter what happens, I will definitely take good care of the little young master!”

”Thank you! Thank you! Hearing you say that puts my mind at ease!” Ye Anxin curved her lips into a faint smile, yet it was incredibly desolate!

Noticing something off with Ye Anxin, the butler’s heart leaped to his throat, ”Madam, what’s wrong with you? Why suddenly say such strange things? What are you planning to do? Please don’t scare me!”

Ye Anxin shook her head, forcing a smile, ”I’m fine! I was just thinking, I’m about to divorce Mu Beiting, and he’s going to marry Su Yuexin! I’m afraid Su Yuexin won’t treat my son well, so I want you to take good care of the little young master in the future!”

Listening to Ye Anxin’s words, the butler suddenly felt a wave of sorrow, ”No, Madam and Sir won’t divorce!”

Ye Anxin remained silent and only smiled in return!

Things had reached this point; there was no turning back for her!

No matter what, she couldn’t let Su Yuexin harm her child!

Su Yuexin had already caused the death of her first child; she absolutely couldn’t let her harm her second child!

She couldn’t change Mu Beiting marrying Su Yuexin! With Mu Beiting’s immense power, she couldn’t win custody of the child either!

The only way was to eliminate the threat for her son!

Even if it meant mutual destruction, she was determined!

Ye Anxin sat quietly on the hospital bed, waiting for Su Yuexin!

About an hour later, Su Yuexin appeared in the ward!

Su Yuexin swaggered in and plopped down on the bench, crossing her arms, disdainful, ”Ye Anxin, why did you call me here?”

Ye Anxin glanced at her calmly, then fixed her gaze on the butler, ”Butler, please go out, I have something to say to her!”

”This...!” The butler looked unsettled at Ye Anxin!

Given the current situation, he really didn’t feel comfortable leaving her alone! Although Madam’s wounds had healed, her body was still weak, not to mention that she was in her confinement period now!

If Su Yuexin made a move against Madam, she wouldn’t stand a chance against her!

Seeing the butler’s hesitation, Ye Anxin smiled and reassured him, ”Don’t worry, you and the bodyguards are right outside the door, as soon as I shout, you’ll come right in! She wouldn’t dare do anything to me!”

Seeing Ye Anxin’s firm attitude, the butler said no more and reluctantly agreed, turning to leave the ward!

To prevent Ye Anxin from being harmed, the butler stayed close to the door, ready to rush in to save her as needed!

Once only Ye Anxin and Su Yuexin were left in the ward, Su Yuexin impatiently said, ”Ye Anxin, what do you want with me? Let me tell you, I don’t have time to waste with you here! If it weren’t for Beiting personally asking, I wouldn’t have bothered coming!”
