Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 391: Chapter 392: Can’t Figure Out His Heart

-

Ye Anxin shook her head and insisted, ”Nothing is more dangerous than staying by Mu Beiting’s side! Mu Beiting is like a dragon’s lair, a tiger’s den; a moment of carelessness, and it’s irreparable disaster! I don’t want to live like this anymore! I don’t want to be a pawn, and certainly not a stand-in! I want freedom, I will give my son the best life!”

Seeing he couldn’t persuade Ye Anxin, the butler relented, ”Since Madam has made up her mind, then I won’t retain you! No matter where you go, please let me know you’re safe!”

Ye Anxin looked at the butler gratefully, ”I will! I will remember all that you’ve done for me today, and someday, our mother and son will repay you!”

”I don’t want any repayment, just that Madam and the young master are happy!” The butler looked reluctantly at the sleeping child in Ye Anxin’s arms, feeling a pang of reluctance!

Since the child was out of the incubator, he and the nanny had been carefully taking care of him. He had already developed deep feelings for the child!

Thinking about their impending separation, he truly felt a deep sense of reluctance!

But everyone has their own life! He believed that the child staying with his mother was the best! Madam would definitely give the young master a warm home!

Ye Anxin promised earnestly, ”I will! I will not let you down!”

”Madam, let me help you up! You just woke up, your body is still weak, the floor is cold, kneeling too long isn’t good!” With that, the butler extended his hand to help Ye Anxin up from the floor!

”Madam, rest well, I’ll take the young master back first! Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone you’ve woken up! Fortunately, the soundproofing in this ward is good; the bodyguards outside likely don’t know you’re awake! When Mr. Su’s arrangements are ready and he calls me, I’ll let you know!” With that, he reached out to take the child from Ye Anxin’s arms!

Ye Anxin looked down, reluctantly gazing at her exquisite son in her arms, feeling sad, ”Baby, don’t worry, today’s separation is only temporary! In a few days, Mama will be able to take you away and be with you every day!” After saying that, she reluctantly handed the child to the butler!

The butler carefully held the child in his arms, exhorting, ”Don’t worry, Madam, I will take good care of the young master! You quickly get into bed and rest, so as not to give anything away!”

”Mm!” Ye Anxin nodded, hurriedly climbed back into bed, laying down as before!

Once assured that Ye Anxin hadn’t given anything away, the butler left with the child!

Until hearing the sound of the door closing, Ye Anxin then opened her eyes again, staring blankly at the ceiling in a daze!

She didn’t know how long the butler had been gone, just when Ye Anxin, groggy, was about to fall asleep again, the door to the ward was pushed open again!

Ye Anxin startled, her sleepiness instantly vanished, nervously lying on the bed, trying hard to pretend to be unconscious!

At first, Ye Anxin thought it was the nurse or doctor, but as footsteps approached, she gradually felt a familiar aura!

It’s him! Mu Beiting!

Why would he come? Does he still care whether she lives or dies?

She had killed the woman he loved the most, he should have hated her!

Yes, he hated her to death, why would he kindly come to care for her! He must be wanting to see if she’s dead yet!

Things have come to this point, she has to be careful and not reveal any flaws.

As Ye Anxin’s mind raced, her hands, which had been at her sides, were suddenly held by a pair of warm large hands!

Then there was a sigh full of helplessness, ”Sigh...!”

This was the first time Ye Anxin heard a sigh from his mouth! Before, no matter when and where, Mu Beiting was always domineering and cold-blooded! Besides coldness, there was only coldness on his face, apart from occasional anger and happiness, she had never seen such helplessness from him!

Is he sighing because Su Yuexin died?

At this moment, she wouldn’t flatter herself to think Mu Beiting was sighing for her, wanting to feel sorry for her!

If he really loved her, felt sorry for her, why did he do so many hurtful things to her!

For the situation to develop to this irreparable state, he is entirely to blame.

At this moment, Ye Anxin felt no gratitude, only silently prayed in her heart, hoping Mu Beiting would hurry and leave!

However, Mu Beiting stayed by the bedside for a long time, she could even clearly feel him tightly squeezing her hands, bringing them to his lips for a kiss!

Mu Beiting’s actions made Ye Anxin even more confused about what he was thinking!

But, whatever he was thinking, it had nothing to do with her, Ye Anxin!

She now just wanted to leave, to leave here at once!

She wanted to take the child away, no one could take the child from her side!

Mu Beiting stayed by the bed for as long as Ye Anxin felt tense, the previous drowsiness had vanished completely!

Ye Anxin didn’t know how long Mu Beiting had sat by the bed, she only knew it was a long, long time before Mu Beiting finally got up and left!

Upon hearing the door to the ward close, Ye Anxin finally breathed a sigh of relief!

Whether by coincidence or something else! Not long after Mu Beiting left, the door to the ward was pushed open again!

Ye Anxin’s heart tightened again, thinking Mu Beiting had returned!

Unexpectedly, a deliberately suppressed voice of the butler sounded in her ear, ”Madam, are you awake?”

”No!” Upon hearing the butler’s voice, Ye Anxin immediately opened her eyes.

The butler cautiously said, ”Madam, Mr. Su called me! He said everything has been arranged! Specifically, wait for me to come, and he will discuss it with you in detail!”

Hearing this, Ye Anxin’s eyes lit up, excitedly said, ”Really? Butler, may I borrow your phone to make a call to him?”

The butler took out his phone and handed it to Ye Anxin!

Ye Anxin took it and dialed a number to Su Yichen!

The call was quickly connected, and Su Yichen’s usual gentle voice came through, ”I’ve arranged everything properly! Tonight, I will send someone to get you out of the hospital; my car will be waiting at the hospital entrance, and once you’re in the car, we’ll head straight to the airport and fly to Han City!”

Ye Anxin hesitantly said, ”Han City? Is that suitable? How about going abroad instead? Only by escaping abroad can Mu Beiting not find us!”

Su Yichen chuckled, ”Don’t worry, Han City is the Tang Family’s territory, even if Mu Beiting finds out, with the Tang Family supporting you, there’s nothing Mu Beiting can do! There’s no place more suitable than Han City!”

Ye Anxin carefully thought for a moment, then nodded, ”Alright! I’ll listen to you! As the situation stands, only Han City is the most suitable place! For the time being, I’ll have to trouble you! What time will you come to pick me up tonight, so that I can have the butler bring the child over in advance!”
