Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 194: Chapter 193: Face the Consequences

The more Mu Beiting spoke, the darker his face became. ”What did I tell you? Without my order, no outsiders are allowed in!”

Ye Anxin quickly spoke up to defend the butler, ”Uncle, you misunderstood the butler. This matter has nothing to do with him! It was the old master who called me at the time, and I opened the door! I was the one who let the person in! So don’t blame the butler!”

Mu Beiting pressed his thin lips tightly, reached out his hand, and gently rubbed Ye Anxin’s fair and tender small face with his slender fingers, asking hoarsely, ”Are you okay?”

”I’m fine! I’m doing well!” Ye Anxin smiled, but just after speaking, she immediately sneezed.

Mu Beiting’s face sank, and he said coldly to the butler, ”Go get the family doctor!”

”Yes!” The butler nodded and hurried off to make a call!

The family doctor arrived quickly, and under Mu Beiting’s strong pressure, he was forced to examine Ye Anxin thoroughly from head to toe.

It wasn’t until the doctor confirmed that she was fine that Mu Beiting’s expression finally eased a little.

Ye Anxin glared at Mu Beiting and said irritably, ”See, I told you I’m fine! It was just a small sneeze because of a tickle in my nose. Look at you!”

Mu Beiting domineeringly said, ”From now on, don’t let anyone in!”

”Oh!” Ye Anxin obediently nodded.

At this moment, the butler who had sent off the doctor returned.

”Take good care of the madam!” Mu Beiting seriously instructed, giving Ye Anxin a deep look before leaving without turning back.

Ye Anxin thought he was going to attend to business matters and didn’t think much of it.

Mu Beiting got into the business car parked outside the villa and told the driver, ”Go to the Mu Family’s old residence!”

At his command, the driver drove the car slowly towards that both unfamiliar and familiar place.

Mu Beiting’s villa was on the hillside, while the Mu Family’s old residence was on the south side of the city, which meant a two-hour journey on the road.

When Mu Beiting appeared at the Mu Family’s old residence, the butler was slightly stunned.

Mu Beiting ordered coldly, ”Open the door!”

The butler opened the main door, and Mu Beiting strode inside.

As he walked, he asked, ”Where is the old master?”

The butler answered truthfully, ”The old master is practicing calligraphy in the study at this time!”

Mu Beiting pursed his thin lips tightly and strode into the villa.

Just as he entered, he heard a sharp voice, ”Oh, who do we have here, making such a big scene! Turns out it’s our second young master Mu! What? After being away from home for so long, you actually remember to come back!”

The speaker was none other than Mu Mother, who was sitting in the hall watching TV and eating fruit.

While watching TV earlier, she seemed to hear some commotion outside! As soon as she stood up, she saw Mu Beiting’s tall figure walking in!

His powerful aura, the regal demeanor radiating from within, and his high and mighty attitude all infuriated her.

Therefore, as soon as he entered the room, she couldn’t help but sneer sarcastically.

Mu Beiting seemed to not hear her at all and directly headed towards the stairs.

Seeing that he ignored her, Mu Mother’s anger grew, and she quickly walked over to block his way, ”Hey, I’m talking to you! Are you deaf?”

A hint of coldness flashed across Mu Beiting’s eyes, and he casually uttered two words with a cold expression, ”Move aside!”

”Who do you think you are? This is the Mu Family. If anyone has to leave, it should be you. What right do you have to tell me to move? A bastard child with no manners, doesn’t even have the decency to greet people. What a waste of life, using up so much of our Mu Family’s resources!” Mu Mother’s eyes were full of disdain, and her face was filled with sharp sarcasm, without a trace of the demeanor of a noble matriarch.

Mu Beiting didn’t pay her any mind, repeating the same two words, ”Move aside!”

”You should be the one to get out!” She said, then turned to the butler and ordered, ”Butler, hurry and throw him out! This is the Mu Family; how could we let this bastard in! Aren’t you afraid of dirtying the place!”

”This...!” The butler stood there in a dilemma, unsure whether to act or not.

Although his salary was paid by the old master, it was well known that the Mu Family was currently supported by the second young master!

All expenses of the Mu Family were covered by the second young master!

The second young master was practically the provider for everyone in the Mu Family! How could he, just an employee, evict the master!

Seeing the butler’s hesitation, Mu Mother screamed, ”Didn’t you hear me? Hurry and throw him out, or do you not want to work here anymore?”

Mu Beiting’s brows furrowed, his temple throbbed, and he directly waved Mu Mother to the ground.

”Ah...!” Mu Mother was completely unprepared for his forceful push, and she fell embarrassingly to the floor.

Mu Beiting took out a handkerchief he carried with him and wiped the hand that had touched Mu Mother, then threw it to the ground.

”You...!” This act was undoubtedly the greatest humiliation for Mu Mother.

How could she be willing to be despised by a bastard like this!

”Mu Beiting, you...!” Just as Mu Mother was about to rant after getting up from the floor, Mu Huajian’s voice came from the second-floor staircase, ”What’s all the noise? Don’t you know I’m practicing calligraphy?”

Leaning on a cane and supported by the servants, Mu Huajian walked down!

With the head of the family coming down, Mu Mother finally fell silent and stood aside without a word.

”Why are you here?” Mu Huajian walked up to Mu Beiting, having guessed the reason for his sudden appearance.

Mu Beiting spoke with a stoic expression, ”I remember warning you not to touch her!”

”Hah...!” Although he had guessed Mu Beiting came because of Ye Anxin, hearing it made Mu Huajian feel incredibly ironic.

Since when did he have to see his son through another woman?

Was Ye Anxin really so important to him?

”Don’t touch her again. If I find out you’ve touched her, I don’t care who you are; I will destroy you! I mean what I say!” Mu Beiting coldly left a remark and turned to leave.

Mu Huajian called out, ”Wait!”

Mu Beiting stopped but did not turn back.

”Is that woman so important to you? So much so that you’d enter this place you despise just to personally warn me?” Mu Huajian looked at Mu Beiting’s back, his aged voice filled with deep melancholy.

Mu Beiting did not reply, continuing to walk forward.

Before Mu Beiting could leave the villa, Mu Huajian eagerly said, ”Since you’re here, stay for a meal. It’s been a long time since the family sat down together for a meal!” His voice carried a hint of a plea he himself might not have noticed.

Mu Beiting walked away without looking back at the villa.

Watching Mu Beiting’s departing figure, Mu Huajian unknowingly had tears in his eyes.

Mu Mother was displeased, ”Dad, why do you tolerate him like this! He’s just a bastard! Why should he be so arrogant? Everything he has now is what the Mu Family has given him! If he’s so capable, let’s see him live without the Mu Family’s resources!”
