Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 166: Chapter 165: Pregnant?

”...!” Mu Beiting pressed his lips together without speaking, pushing her head back into his embrace, and said awkwardly, ”Sleep!”

Ye Anxin sighed helplessly; after a day of hassle, she was indeed exhausted and fell asleep unknowingly in Mu Beiting’s arms.

Mu Beiting held her and changed her position to make her sleep more comfortably.

Ye Anxin was really worn out this time. Even when they got home, and Mu Beiting changed her clothes and cleaned her up, she didn’t wake up and slept until the next morning.

That day, when Ye Anxin opened her eyes, Mu Beiting hadn’t left; he was still sleeping beside her, holding her in his arms.

Gazing at his handsome face at such close distance, Ye Anxin was slightly lost.

Only from this close did she realize that not only were his features flawless, but his eyelashes were also stunning, thick, long, and curled! Just like butterfly wings, a ray of sunlight streamed in from the window, casting a thick shadow on his eyelashes, making them look exceptionally beautiful.

Beneath the eyelashes was his high nose bridge, followed by his thin, well-shaped lips.

Looking at those lips that had kissed her countless times, Ye Anxin’s mind blanked for a moment, and she instinctively leaned forward to peck quickly on his thin lips.

She originally just wanted to steal a gentle kiss while he was asleep and then retreat promptly.

Unexpectedly, as soon as her lips touched his, before she could pull away, a pair of large hands suddenly pressed onto the back of her head, and his agile tongue skillfully slipped inside.

”Mm...!” Ye Anxin was first stunned, then came to her senses, her face instantly flushing red.

Could it be that Uncle had been awake all along and was just pretending to sleep to see her make a fool of herself?

Uh...!

Did he know all her actions just now?

Thinking about how she had been staring at him blankly while he shamelessly pretended to sleep, her cheeks felt burning hot.

”Focus!” Noticing her distraction, Mu Beiting bit her lip hard.

The force wasn’t heavy enough to break her lip but enough to cause a slight pain and bring her back to reality.

”Ah...!” Ye Anxin gasped in pain, suddenly regaining her senses.

Mu Beiting said inexplicably, ”I didn’t run today!”

Ye Anxin blinked, ”So?”

”So, you must accompany me for a workout!” Saying this, he flipped over and pressed her down.

Ye Anxin was dumbfounded, did not resist, letting Mu Beiting do as he wished on her.

As Mu Beiting undressed her, a sudden flash of inspiration struck in Ye Anxin’s blank mind, as if something crossed her mind too fast to catch.

Ye Anxin tried to think hard, until their clothes were off, she suddenly started, pushed Mu Beiting off, and sat up quickly.

With a tone of concern, Mu Beiting asked, ”What’s wrong?”

Ye Anxin widened her eyes, incredulous, ”I remember! I finally remember what I forgot! Oh my gosh! It’s been more than a month, and my period hasn’t come!”

Three days ago, while accompanying Yueyue to try on wedding dresses and take photos, she felt something was off, as if she had forgotten something.

But she couldn’t recall it then, so she didn’t pay attention.

Just now, she finally remembered! It turned out... it turned out her period hadn’t come!

It’s been forty days, and her period used to be very punctual, arriving every twenty-eight days! Now it’s twelve days late!

Oh my gosh! Could she be pregnant?

It makes sense! Over the past month, except for the periods, she and Uncle did it almost every day! Uncle seemed to have endless energy in this regard; each time resulted in her aching all over, begging him to let her go.

And during this time, they took no contraceptive measures!

Could it be she’s really pregnant?

Thinking of this, Ye Anxin opened her mouth uncertainly, ”Uncle, could I... be pregnant?”

Mu Beiting frowned, ”Pregnant?”

Ye Anxin nodded, analyzing for him, ”Yes! We didn’t take any contraceptive measures, and my period has been delayed by twelve days! It was always on time before, never late! So... I guess there’s an eighty percent chance I’m pregnant!”

Mu Beiting’s expression remained unchanged as he responded, ”What do you think?”

Ye Anxin didn’t think much and directly smiles saying, ”If I’m really pregnant, I definitely want to keep it! It’s the result of love between Uncle and me!”

Mu Beiting frowned, ”You want to give birth?”

Fully immersed in her happiness, Ye Anxin didn’t notice Mu Beiting’s peculiarity, she wrapped her arms around his and said joyfully, ”Since it’s conceived, of course I want to give birth! Doesn’t Uncle want it?”

Mu Beiting was silent for a moment before he said, ”I think it’s not the right time!”

Upon hearing this, the smile on Ye Anxin’s face stiffened, ”Does Uncle not want this child?”

Mu Beiting pursed his lips and raised his brows, asking, ”Do you really want it?”

Ye Anxin touched her flat belly and nodded firmly.

Mu Beiting asked, ”And your studies?”

Ye Anxin said thoughtfully, ”If the child is to be born, I can take a temporary leave from school! When the child grows up and goes to kindergarten, I can continue my studies! After all, it’s a life; since it’s here, how could I cruelly reject it!”

Mu Beiting’s thin lips pressed into a line, his eyes calm and deep as water.

”Uncle, let’s keep it! It’s our child, our first child! Can you really bear to let it go?” Seeing his expression, Ye Anxin’s heart was in her mouth for fear that he would make her abort the child.

She desired to keep the child, no matter what, even if Uncle disagreed, she wanted to keep it.

After a long while, Mu Beiting glanced at her flat belly, then lightly uttered a word, ”Okay!”

Upon hearing his answer, Ye Anxin finally relaxed, happily hugged Mu Beiting’s neck, and planted a big kiss on his face, ”Uncle, you’re so nice!”

”I’ll take you to the hospital later to check everything!” Mu Beiting’s expression remained calm, his deep eyes inscrutable.

Ye Anxin quickly said, ”No need for so much trouble! I’ll go out and buy a pregnancy test stick later, confirm it, and then go to the hospital for a checkup! After all, this is just my guess! If it turns out to be a misunderstanding, it would be so embarrassing!”

”I’ll go with you!” With that, Mu Beiting didn’t continue with the earlier unfinished business but turned over, got out of bed, and found a clean outfit from the wardrobe to change into.

As Ye Anxin got out of bed, she curiously asked, ”Isn’t Uncle going to work? You’ve been occupied with Mr. Huo’s matters these past few days; shouldn’t there be a lot of important work delayed?”

”I’ll accompany you to buy the pregnancy test stick first!” Speaking, Mu Beiting was already neatly dressed, and then he went into the bathroom to wash up.

Ye Anxin didn’t ask any more questions, finding a T-shirt and jeans from the wardrobe to wear, and followed him into the bathroom.
