Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 192: Chapter 191: Humiliation

Is he at the villa entrance now?

Thinking of this, Ye Anxin quickly got off the rocking chair, put on her slippers, and ran to the door.

As expected, standing outside the door was an elderly man with a stern face, leaning on a cane, his sharp eyes coldly staring at her.

This person she recognized as Mu Rufeng’s grandfather, whom she met when she was dating Mu Rufeng!

The man called ”Uncle” is Mu Rufeng’s uncle, so this must be Uncle’s father!

Having been married to Uncle for so long, she never associated this old man with Uncle!

Because the age difference was too great! This old man was at least in his seventies, while Uncle was just in his early thirties!

However, believing in Mu Rufeng’s age, she suddenly felt that such an age difference was quite reasonable!

Mu Huajian commanded sternly, ”Are you not going to open the door quickly?”

”Oh oh oh...!” Ye Anxin nodded, hurriedly opening the door.

”Uh...!” Ye Anxin’s lips moved, wanting to call out, but didn’t know what to say.

Before, when they met, she followed Mu Rufeng and called him Grandpa! Meeting him now... calling him Grandpa seemed to mess up the generations! Calling him Dad just wouldn’t come out of her mouth!

After a painful mental struggle, Ye Anxin’s lips moved, but she still couldn’t say anything.

Mu Huajian walked in with his cane, his sharp eyes disdainfully scanning Ye Anxin from head to toe, ”Indeed without manners! Didn’t even bother to greet!”

Ye Anxin bowed her head without a word!

She knew this member of the Mu Family never liked her because of her lowly background!

In such a prestigious family, the idea of matching social statuses is deeply ingrained!

Therefore, with her background, be it Mu Rufeng or Uncle, she was a misfit!

However, just because she was born lowly didn’t mean she was uneducated!

From childhood to adulthood, her mother taught her all the necessary etiquette! She believed she was not lacking in this regard!

Ye Anxin opened her mouth after a good while, finally saying, ”Uncle is at the company!”

Mu Huajian said expressionlessly, ”I know, that’s why I came today!”

The implication being he deliberately chose a time when Mu Beiting was not around!

Ye Anxin wasn’t a fool; she naturally understood!

”Please come inside!” Ye Anxin made a welcoming gesture to Mu Huajian.

Mu Huajian didn’t even glance at her, maintaining his high posture as the owner of the house, walking inside with his cane!

Ye Anxin bit her lip, quickly following.

The butler was busy in the villa and was slightly stunned when he saw the person coming in. Just as he was about to open his mouth to inquire, seeing Ye Anxin follow, he immediately understood.

Mu Huajian glanced coldly at the butler, sitting directly on the hall sofa, ordering, ”Hurry and pour some water!”

The butler paused, speaking with some difficulty, ”Master, why have you come today! The master has instructed that without his order, no one is allowed to enter or leave here at will!”

Mu Huajian’s face hardened, angrily shouting, ”Nonsense! I am the head of the family; I am the master of the Mu Family! The whole Mu Family is mine; I go where I want! Who dares to stop me?”

”That’s indeed what the master personally said! We are just following orders! Master, you should leave!”

After the incident with Su Yuexin and her daughter, he dared not let anyone into the villa at will!

If he were to fail in his duties again, he could forget about keeping his job.

Mu Huajian let out a cold laugh, disdainfully saying, ”Today I just choose to sit here and not leave. I want to see if you’re really going to throw me out!”

”Master...!” The butler frowning in distress.

Seeing his predicament, Ye Anxin hurried to ease the embarrassment, ”Butler, let it go! The Old Master is Uncle’s biological father; he can naturally sit here! You go attend to other matters! I’ll handle things here!”

”...!” The butler looked at Mu Huajian, then at Ye Anxin, still showing hesitance in his eyes.

Noting the butler’s expression, Ye Anxin smiled, reassuring, ”Don’t worry! I let the Old Master in. If Uncle blames anyone, I’ll take the responsibility!”

Since Ye Anxin said so, the butler reluctantly nodded in agreement, ”Alright! I’ll go fetch some tea for the Old Master!” Saying so, he turned to prepare tea for Mu Huajian.

Unexpectedly, just as he took a step, Mu Huajian’s voice sounded behind him, ”Wait!”

The butler stopped, perplexedly turning around.

Mu Huajian pointed his cane at Ye Anxin, ”Let her make the tea for me!”

”Madam?” The butler was stunned, immediately responding emotionally, ”Madam is the host here. How could she be the one making tea? Let me do it!”

Mu Huajian raised an eyebrow, domineeringly saying, ”Let her make it. I won’t drink anything else!”

Faced with Mu Huajian’s repeated provocations, the butler finally couldn’t hold back, ”Aren’t you just deliberately making things difficult?”

”Forget it, I’ll make it! It’s only natural for juniors to serve seniors!” Ye Anxin quickly stopped the butler’s unspoken words, walking to the dining room under the butler’s sympathetic gaze to personally pour water for Mu Huajian.

Ye Anxin carried the water respectfully to Mu Huajian, saying, ”Old Master, please have some tea!”

Mu Huajian glanced at the cup being handed to him, coldly curling up one corner of his mouth, raising his hand to throw the cup back at Ye Anxin’s face.

”Ah...!” Unprepared, Ye Anxin was splashed with the entire cup of tea on her face and hair, scattering countless droplets of water.

”Madam!” The butler exclaimed, quickly pulling a few sheets of paper from the coffee table to hand to Ye Anxin.

Ye Anxin bit her lips hard, taking the paper the butler handed over to wipe the water from her face, hair, and clothes.

The butler expressed concern, ”Madam, you should go change clothes! It’s autumn, the weather’s chilly; catching a cold would be bad!”

”Mm!” Ye Anxin nodded, avoiding looking at Mu Huajian, preparing to leave with her head down.

Seeing her about to leave, Mu Huajian sternly commanded, ”Stop, who allowed you to leave!”

Ye Anxin stopped, turned to face Mu Huajian, her rosy lips bitten white as a sheet.

After a moment of silence, Ye Anxin slowly spoke, ”Why? Old Master, I don’t understand why you’re treating me this way? What did I do wrong for you to humiliate me like this?”

Mu Huajian sneered disdainfully, ”Didn’t do anything wrong? Your biggest mistake was showing up in the Mu Family and clinging to Beiting! First it was Rufeng, now it’s Beiting, Ye Anxin, are you just attaching yourself to the Mu Family’s men? Have all the men in the world died?”

Ye Anxin’s heart skipped a beat, ”Old Master, I know my background is low, that I don’t deserve Uncle! But I truly love Uncle, I hope you can accept me!”
