Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 182: Chapter 181: Breaking a Promise

”Let’s go eat!” he said, carrying her directly out the door.

Ye Anxin kicked her feet unwillingly, ”Oh come on, uncle, I can walk. It’s embarrassing if others see us like this!”

”I like it!” Mu Beiting pursed his lips, still domineering in a way that was both endearing and infuriating.

Ye Anxin knew she couldn’t persuade him otherwise, so she stopped struggling and let him carry her downstairs.

The butler saw them coming down and instructed the servants to reheat and serve the meal.

Ye Anxin sat at the dining table, glanced at Mu Beiting’s bowl, and asked in confusion, ”Uncle, you haven’t eaten either?”

Mu Beiting pursed his lips and said nothing, just started eating gracefully.

Seeing Mu Beiting not answering, the butler smiled and replied, ”Yeah! Sir saw you were asleep just now, so he didn’t eat. He wanted to wait and eat with you when you woke up!”

Ye Anxin suddenly realized and nodded, saying with concern, ”Oh, oh! Next time don’t wait for me. What if you get too hungry?”

Upon hearing this, Mu Beiting’s hand holding the chopsticks paused, a flash of inexplicable light passing through his deep eyes.

”Let’s eat! I’m so hungry!” Ye Anxin smiled, picking up her bowl and chopsticks to eat enthusiastically.

The butler was already used to Ye Anxin’s eating style and didn’t comment anymore!

At first, he would remind her, telling her that the gentleman’s family had strict rules about talking while eating or speaking while resting, about eating with manners and sitting with form.

But she could never change! Over time, the butler gave up reminding her!

More importantly, he realized that the gentleman seemed indulgent when it came to his wife’s behavior! Since the gentleman allowed it, what else could he say?

Once they were full, Mu Beiting carried Ye Anxin back upstairs to the bedroom.

When they got to the bedroom, Mu Beiting finally put Ye Anxin down on the floor, ”It’s so hot today, I’m all sweaty. Let’s take a shower first!”

”Together!” Mu Beiting immediately clung onto her.

”No way!” This time, Ye Anxin refused decisively.

If they showered together again, she might as well not have her hands!

”Yes!” Mu Beiting stubbornly insisted on his opinion.

Ye Anxin wrapped her arms around his, gently coaxing, ”Uncle, let’s not, okay? I just got pregnant and need to rest well. If we keep this up, the baby won’t be able to handle it!”

Mu Beiting pursed his lips and remained silent, protesting with his silence.

Ye Anxin rested her head on his arm, deciding to reason him out, ”Uncle, indulging too much is bad for your health. We should exercise moderation. It can’t be an everyday thing! Look at this past month, not a single day has been peaceful! I can’t handle it, so let’s take a few days off, alright?”

Mu Beiting fell silent, carefully considering Ye Anxin’s words, ”I promise you, just a simple shower!”

Ye Anxin raised an eyebrow, a hint of doubt in her voice, ”Really?”

”You don’t believe me?” Mu Beiting pursed his lips, a flicker of displeasure in his eyes.

”Ahem...!” Ye Anxin choked on her own saliva.

Mu Beiting’s brows furrowed tightly, his thin lips pressed into a line, a cold light flashing in his eyes.

”Alright, alright, uncle keeps his word, why wouldn’t I believe you! Haha!” Ye Anxin gave an awkward laugh.

She knew inside that if she didn’t agree, uncle would surely get upset again.

Uncle’s mind was actually quite simple; as long as you pacified him, coaxed him a bit, everything would be fine.

Sure enough, as soon as Ye Anxin spoke, the cold light in Mu Beiting’s eyes vanished, replaced by a touch of amusement.

”Let’s go, let’s go!” Ye Anxin squinted and smiled, taking Mu Beiting’s arm into the bathroom.

Later—

And later—

When Ye Anxin came out of the bathroom, she just wanted to curse.

What about the simple shower? What about the promise? What about not touching?

To hell with it!

Everything was fine when they went in, but as they washed, it all took a different turn! In the end, it was like a hungry wolf spotting a little bunny, pouncing and devouring her whole without leaving a bone!

Last time, they could at least use their hands, but this time even that didn’t work, it required full physical involvement!

She ended up completely exhausted, all the energy she had mustered up from sleeping four hours in the afternoon was entirely depleted.

Now, she just felt weak all over, like her entire body was falling apart! She lay in bed, not wanting to move!

Wah... wah...

She really was on the verge of tears!

If she had known, she wouldn’t have softened her heart earlier; she should have held her ground!

It seems her educational efforts weren’t quite up to par!

Mu Beiting embraced her from behind, his large, solid hand restlessly wandering over her body.

With their bodies close together, Ye Anxin could clearly feel the change in his body.

Noticing his hand becoming more restless, with his body reacting, Ye Anxin was startled, mustering her spirit and complaining, ”Uncle, you don’t keep your word!”

”Hmm?” Mu Beiting barely responded, his hand showing no sign of letting up.

Ye Anxin pouted, aggrieved, ”What about the simple shower we agreed on?”

Mu Beiting breathed hot air by her ear, his voice alluring, ”Didn’t we wash quite cleanly?”

”...?” Ye Anxin was speechless, realizing he’d been playing her, finding loopholes on purpose.

Ye Anxin was on the verge of tears but had to patiently explain, ”Uncle, too much indulgence is really no good! We’re still young, we can’t waste all our time in bed!”

Mu Beiting raised an eyebrow, ”So?”

Ye Anxin quickly replied, ”So, we should do something more meaningful!”

”If this isn’t meaningful, then where did this come from?” he said, his large hand resting on Ye Anxin’s flat belly.

”...?” Ye Anxin was speechless!

Alright, she compromised! Turns out, uncle could also be so articulate and unreasonable! She finally understood why uncle and Mr. Yan got along so well! They were birds of a feather!

”Let’s sleep, I’m so tired!” Ye Anxin was really exhausted! After two whole hours in the bathroom, who wouldn’t be?

She just couldn’t figure it out! Uncle wakes up so early every day, sleeps so late, works all day, yet he has so much energy, especially in that aspect, like he has endless energy!

”Mm!” Mu Beiting responded faintly, then turned her around to face him, resting her head on his arm, holding her slender waist, adjusting her to the most comfortable position.

”Good night, uncle!” Ye Anxin smiled sweetly and quickly fell asleep in Mu Beiting’s arms.

As usual, after Ye Anxin fell asleep, Mu Beiting let her go and quietly left the room!

......

Inside the VIP private room of Mengjie KTV!

Su Yuexin lounged on the sofa, crossing her legs, delicately savoring a glass of red wine.

Li Lin sat next to her, recounting the day’s events at school from start to finish!

After hearing her account, Su Yuexin tightened her grip on the wine glass, ”Pregnant?”
