My All-Female Fleet Swept the Galaxy

Chapter 280: Chapter 280: The Terrifying Long-Range Strike Capability I

”Warning! Warning! Warning! Detecting a large number of Stellar Fighter and Stellar Drone units approaching our area!”

Such warnings echoed throughout the Fourth and Fifth Fleets of the Slave Merchants.

Perhaps in the past, such warnings wouldn’t have meant much.

Just Stellar Fighters and Stellar Drones, right?

It wasn’t like they hadn’t seen them before.

But this time, they dared not let their guard down in the slightest.

Because what they saw were a full three thousand T3-level Stellar Drones and three hundred T3 Stellar Fighters!

They surged forward like a mountain collapsing and a tidal wave crashing!

These weren’t just mere numbers of Stellar Fighters and Drones; they represented a terrifying long-range strike capability!

”Warning! Warning! Warning! Stellar Missiles detected en route!”

Immediately after, the warnings sounded again.

On the bridge radars of the flagships of the two Slave Merchant interstellar fleets, it was clearly visible that behind those over three thousand light points, hundreds of Stellar Missiles were streaking toward their position like a meteor shower.

”This is Phoenix Squadron One. We will enter fighter attack range in five minutes. Over.”

Pei Shengnan, the pilot of a T3 Phoenix-class Starfighter, looked at the various data screens before her and the enemy interstellar fleet locked as targets on the other side.

Pei Shengnan glanced at a tattoo the size of a finger on her wrist, which she had gotten after surviving that ordeal.

It was the emblem of the Bloody Mary Mercenary Corps.

It represented not only the history of the Bloody Mary Mercenary Corps but also the attack on its headquarters and the hatred for the thousands of fallen comrades.

She would not allow herself to forget!

Logically, as the former deputy corps leader of the Bloody Mary Mercenary Corps, she could have easily qualified to command a T2 Black Rhino-class Interstellar Heavy Assault Frigate, if not a T3 interstellar warship, in Zhao Chen’s Fierce Dragon Fleet.

Yet, when the Fierce Dragon Fleet began recruiting Starfighter Pilots internally, this former deputy leader of a stellar mercenary corps joined without hesitation.

She had extensive experience piloting Stellar Fighters before. If not for the lack of leadership in the Bloody Mary Mercenary Corps, she would have preferred the unrestrained feeling of flying a Stellar Fighter over commanding an interstellar warship into battle.

Especially now, piloting this T3 Phoenix-class Starfighter.

She was fortunate to be among the first batch of test pilots. From the moment she sat in this T3 Phoenix-class Starfighter, she felt as if something had entered her body, merging with her as one.

And now, she could not only pilot the Stellar Fighter she had always dreamed of but also use it to avenge her stellar mercenary corps!

”All interstellar warships of the Fourth and Fifth Fleets, intercept the incoming Stellar Missiles immediately and prepare to defend against the enemy Stellar Fighters!” In the Starport command room, Big Eye King continuously issued orders.

But a sense of foreboding had already risen in his heart.

Those were Stellar Fighters, and T3-level ones at that. T2 Interstellar Frigates simply couldn’t intercept them; T3 Interstellar Frigates were needed.

The problem was, he had fewer than fifteen T3 Interstellar Frigates under his command at most!

These were then divided among the six interstellar fleets.

Given the disparity between the enemy and our forces, the ensuing scene was predictable.

”First Fleet, Second Fleet, and Third Fleet, abandon the pursuit of the enemy’s interstellar stealth bombers and immediately support the Fourth and Fifth Fleets!

After withstanding the enemy’s first wave of attacks, take the initiative to locate the enemy’s carrier starships!” Big Eye King adjusted his strategy.

Although those five interstellar stealth bombers were detestable, the most critical issue at the moment was the situation on the frontline battlefield.

Upon receiving the orders, the First, Second, and Third Fleets immediately began moving to support the Fourth and Fifth Fleets.

Coincidentally, at this moment, Second-in-command Skinny Monkey, commanding the Second Fleet, and Third Brother Scarface, commanding the Third Fleet, witnessed the horrifying scene of the Fourth and Fifth Fleets being bombarded by successive waves of stellar missiles.

Perhaps due to the enemy pre-setting the rate of fire for the stellar missiles, although several waves were launched sequentially, they ultimately combined to form a terrifying bullet curtain!

A total of two thousand stellar missiles!

Like a meteor shower unleashed without restraint, they exploded within the formations of the Fourth and Fifth Fleets, each crimson blast engulfing the starships.

The scene resembled a cosmic catastrophe. Although some stellar missiles were intercepted, far more accurately struck the starships!

One after another, the slave merchant’s starships were destroyed.

Inside the starport command room, Big Eye King watched the screens displaying the names of his own starships dimming one by one, along with the dwindling numbers, and his anxiety grew.

”Send a distress signal!” Big Eye King, now disregarding all else, ordered his trusted aide.

The aide’s expression stiffened. He understood what the boss meant—sending a distress signal meant requesting aid from His Highness the Prince.

Previously, His Highness had warned them not to seek his assistance unless absolutely necessary.

It seemed that, in the boss’s eyes, the situation had now reached that critical point.

The stellar missile assault soon ended.

The casualty data for the starships appeared before Big Eye King.

Direct losses amounted to over three hundred starships.

This included three T3 interstellar warships, one hundred T2 starships, and two hundred T1 interstellar warships!

The number of damaged starships was twice that figure!

Most critically, the entire combat formations of the Fourth and Fifth Fleets were thrown into disarray.

As the stellar missile attacks ceased and the chaos from the explosions had yet to dissipate, the starships of the Fourth and Fifth Fleets soon discovered, to their horror, that a wave of stellar fighters and stellar drones had already appeared right before them!

Perfectly timed to follow the firepower assault of the stellar missiles!

The stellar drones attacked first, dividing into small combat teams to strike primarily at the enemy fleet’s main warships, including some T2-level main starships.

Such as interstellar battleships and stellar battlecruisers.

These starships, which had once swaggered through space battles, were now being pummeled into submission without any fight left in them.

Their pitiful defensive firepower was as useless against these Stellar Drones as trying to shoot mosquitoes with a pistol.

And this was only the beginning.

What was even more terrifying was the Stellar Fighters still to come!

The three hundred T3 Phoenix-class Starfighters were, of course, targeting the enemy’s T3 interstellar warships!

They charged forward under the cover of their Unidirectional Star Shields and engaged!

Flagship of the Fourth Fleet

”Warning! Ship Hull under attack. Comprehensive Starship Armor strength remaining at 65%!”

”Warning! Secondary cannon at position four on the Ship Hull has been destroyed!”

The Flagship Captain was utterly overwhelmed. Although Big Eye King kept issuing orders from his side, the command system here had descended into complete chaos.

Suddenly, he stared in shock at the scene before him.

Right above his own Flagship, several flat-shaped Stellar Fighters with exceptionally long wingspans had appeared!

Moreover, they had appeared suddenly—they had never been detected in previous reconnaissance scans.

That silhouette, that outline...

They were Star Stealth Bombers!
