My All-Female Fleet Swept the Galaxy

Chapter 254: Chapter 254: Are You Planning to Go Back on Your Word?

Red Eyes was deeply moved by Zhao Chen’s trust in her and his attentiveness to her affairs.

After receiving the T2 Black Rhino-class Interstellar Heavy Assault Frigate arranged by Zhao Chen, she immediately prepared to depart.

Before setting off, she specifically instructed her former deputy corps leader, Pei Jie—Pei Shengnan—to obey the orders of Lord Commander Zhao Chen while in the Fierce Dragon Star System!

Pei Shengnan assured her there would be absolutely no problem. Initially, she had been somewhat wary and cautious of this man’s Fierce Dragon Fleet.

But after living and interacting with them for a few days, she realized this place was practically a dream come true.

Powerful starships, excellent living conditions—could there be any place better than this?

”Remember! Your own safety comes first. Don’t take any risks no matter what happens!” Zhao Chen emphasized seriously during the video communication.

He couldn’t afford to lose such a valuable employee he had worked so hard to acquire.

Red Eyes nodded. ”Don’t worry. Even if I don’t take care of myself, I’ll take care of the starship you gave me.”

Zhao Chen was speechless. Was there something wrong with this girl’s way of thinking? She was actually more concerned about his starship.

Well, as long as she returned safely, that was all that mattered.

Zhao Chen watched as the T2 Black Rhino-class Interstellar Heavy Assault Frigate, its appearance slightly altered and its Fierce Dragon Insignia concealed, departed.

He admitted that a significant reason for his eagerness regarding Red Eyes’ revenge was the Side Mission.

The reward for that Side Mission was simply too generous—the technical blueprint for a T4 Interstellar Warship!

Given that his System Store wouldn’t be able to upgrade to the T4 level anytime soon, obtaining the T4 Interstellar Warship technical blueprint from a mission was an opportunity Zhao Chen absolutely had to seize.

A few days after seeing Red Eyes off, Zhao Chen received a communication request from an old friend.

Li Yaqi.

Zhao Chen entered the holographic image communication room.

Li Yaqi was already waiting on the other side.

”I heard about Red Eyes. I never expected her to join your fleet,” Li Yaqi said directly, getting straight to the point about Red Eyes.

”I considered their current situation. It’s too dangerous for them out there, and I happen to be short on personnel,” Zhao Chen explained.

Li Yaqi nodded. ”That is indeed the best choice.

Let’s get down to business.

The reason I contacted you this time is regarding the Empire’s military procurement.

We’ve already received the latest information about the upcoming military procurement. This time, the scale will be enormous!”

As she spoke, Li Yaqi grew visibly excited.

For any starship manufacturer, securing a military procurement contract meant soaring success.

No major starship manufacturer thrived without military procurement orders!

Winning a military procurement contract was also a symbol of status and capability.

It was the best advertisement.

See? Even the Imperial military wants the interstellar warships our company produces. Why aren’t you buying them yet?

”And in this military procurement, the order share for T2 interstellar destroyers is the largest among all T2 Starship categories, surpassing any previous military procurement in history!

The planned procurement is estimated to reach ten thousand T2 interstellar destroyers, with the military budget preliminarily estimated at forty billion Star Coins!” At this moment, Li Yaqi looked like a fierce tigress, her eyes blazing.

It was clear she was very focused on this matter.

”Ten thousand?” Zhao Chen was also startled by the number.

Based on the normal starship type ratio of the Empire’s second-line fleet, ten thousand T2 interstellar destroyers could meet the needs of approximately fifteen Legion-level Starfleets!

Logically speaking, the Empire’s second-line fleet shouldn’t need so many T2 interstellar destroyers, right?

This military procurement scale indeed exceeded expectations.

”I’ve heard that the Hurricane Consortium is truly determined to secure this military procurement!

They are currently developing a T3 interstellar destroyer and a T3 Interstellar Transport Ship, both at critical stages of research and development, requiring substantial funding.

This has even caused significant issues in the Hurricane Consortium’s cash flow, so internal information suggests they must secure this T2 interstellar destroyer procurement order at all costs. 𝑓𝑟ℯℴ𝓂

With this order as a lifeline, the Hurricane Consortium can smoothly complete the development of those two T3 interstellar warships, allowing them to fully evolve and step into the ranks of the Stellar Glory Empire’s top-tier interstellar consortiums!” Li Yaqi explained.

Hurricane Consortium?

Zhao Chen smiled slightly as he looked at Li Yaqi. ”I suppose you’re already prepared to pour cold water on them this time.”

Li Yaqi also revealed a sly smile. ”Our T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class Medium Interstellar Destroyers have already been successfully built here, and the production lines are fully set up.

We’ve completed the construction of thirty T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class Medium Interstellar Destroyers.

When the time comes, I plan to directly bring these T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class Medium Interstellar Destroyers to participate in this procurement. We can definitely snatch this military order from the Hurricane Consortium!”

”Then I estimate the Hurricane Consortium will want to kill you on the spot,” Zhao Chen teased.

Li Yaqi straightened her posture and said confidently, ”Since we’ve chosen to ride the wind and break the waves, we cannot fear the reefs and undercurrents blocking our path!”

Zhao Chen nodded with satisfaction. ”I await your good news. If you need any help, just let me know.”

”Alright.”

The communication ended.

Zhao Chen was in a good mood.

If it truly was a military procurement order worth 40 billion Star Coins, he could receive at least 25 billion Star Coins!

25 billion Star Coins!

Thinking of this astronomical figure, Zhao Chen seemed to see himself constructing numerous starships and commanding a vast interstellar fleet.

Just the thought was exhilarating.

Beep beep beep

A notification sounded from the handheld terminal—a video communication request.

Chu Xuan?

Why is everyone coming at once today?

Zhao Chen clicked to accept.

Chu Xuan’s video window appeared before Zhao Chen.

”My future wife, what brings you to think of me?” In his good mood, Zhao Chen immediately began teasing Chu Xuan.

Chu Xuan’s face instantly flushed red as she glared at him in embarrassment and anger. ”You... you... what nonsense are you saying... I... when did I... become... your wife...”

”You... if you keep spouting nonsense... believe it or not... believe it or not... I’ll pull out your... tongue.”

Zhao Chen shrugged, putting on an innocent expression: ”Didn’t our old man say it? I’m his grandson-in-law, so doesn’t that make me your husband?

What, Miss Chu of the Chu Family, are you trying to pull up your pants and deny it now?”
