Not Being a Trainer This Time

Wo-Chien suddenly felt its body enveloped by a warm aura.

This feeling, it hadn’t experienced for many years.

Ever since absorbing too much of the Power of Calamity, its consciousness had become drowsy, lost in cold darkness, with its perception of the outside world being intermittent.

But now, this warm feeling...

Wo-Chien slowly opened its eyes.

”Gushhhh?” (What has happened to this old one?)

Everything in front of it gradually became clear, and Wo-Chien felt like it had stepped out from chaos, arriving in a place full of fragrant birds and vibrant life.

Here, it saw an unfamiliar human, many unfamiliar Pokemon, and its old acquaintances Ting-Lu and Chi-Yu.

The next moment, Wo-Chien showed an expression of disbelief.

”Gushhhh!! Gushhhh?” (How come you two are here too!! Are the four of us in heaven, not in the human world?)

Ting-Lu: ”...”

Chi-Yu: ”...”

Ting-Lu chuckled and said to Naoki: ”Moo moo!” (Seems like this fellow has gotten muddle-headed!)

Chi-Yu explained helplessly: ”Gufu.” (This is not heaven, this is Naoki’s ranch.)

”Gufu.” (It was he who helped us, rescuing us from imprisonment, and the calamity energy we absorbed was expelled thanks to him.)

Upon hearing this, Wo-Chien slowly turned its head, looking at the human standing beside Ting-Lu with its cloudy gaze.

Naoki greeted it with a smile: ”Hello, Wo-Chien, I’m Naoki, the owner of this ranch.”

”Gushhhh...” At first, Wo-Chien hadn’t reacted much to these words.

But just when Naoki thought it was pondering, Wo-Chien suddenly shivered: ”Gushhhh?” (You helped us expel those dreadful calamity energies?)

Naoki was taken aback for a moment and nodded, saying: ”It was me. By the way, Wo-Chien, do you feel any change in your body now?”

He was curious about what changes had come about in the reversed Ting-Lu.

One second, two seconds, three seconds...

Naoki, Ting-Lu, and Chi-Yu all looked at Wo-Chien, waiting for its response.

After quite a while, Wo-Chien hadn’t spoken.

Ting-Lu remarked: ”Moo moo.” (Seems like this old fellow is still the same, always slow to react.)

Naoki: ”...”

Well, this fits the habits of a snail.

At this moment, Wo-Chien finally spoke.

”Gushhhh...!” (This old one’s body... what is this about? It’s brimming with life again! This old one has gained such power!)

”What kind of power?” Naoki quickly asked.

A half minute later, Wo-Chien responded with astonishment: ”Gushhhh!” (This old one can now provide energy to nearby plants, nurture forest growth, and even bless flowers, grasses, and fruit trees to yield abundance!)

Upon hearing this, Naoki understood internally.

”Just like I thought, eh?”

Now Wo-Chien, is called Little Calyrex.

Until now, many Pokemon on the ranch have possessed this power.

Besides Calyrex, there are three Gogoats, and then there’s Wo-Chien.

For Naoki, having crops suddenly grow isn’t something extraordinary anymore.

He nodded and said to Wo-Chien: ”From now on, you can stay on the ranch with everyone else!”

Wo-Chien’s matter was resolved, now only the last Chien-Pao remains.

Naoki decided to gather the last Ruinous Pokemon all at once tomorrow.

But now, he was going to the World Tree to bring Kubfu home.

”I’ll leave Wo-Chien to you two to take care of.” Naoki turned to Ting-Lu and Chi-Yu and said.

”Moo moo!” (No problem, leave it to this old one!)

Ting-Lu agreed outright.

Naoki turned and left.

While Wo-Chien slowly followed behind Ting-Lu and Chi-Yu, listening to them introduce the ranch.

After walking for a bit, Wo-Chien felt a bit tired, so it stopped, staying on the grass and basking in the sun that hadn’t yet set.

Ting-Lu and Chi-Yu also stopped.

Wo-Chien said slowly: ”Gushhhh.” (That human is really strange, just leaving this old one and you two here.)

Wo-Chien knew very well that to humans, they were incredibly precious treasures.

Many people once wanted to obtain them, using various means such as stealing, robbing, and deceiving.

And now, this human named Naoki just left them outside...

Isn’t he afraid that greedy thieves will come and take them away?

Wo-Chien was very puzzled.

The earliest arriving Ting-Lu thought calmly for a moment and responded:

”Moo moo.” (Probably because Naoki never considered us treasures after all? To him, this old one and all of you are just ordinary Pokemon.)

The evening breeze gently brushed by, bathing in the atmosphere rich with nature’s scent, Wo-Chien felt entirely relaxed.

It closed its eyes with enjoyment, softly murmuring:

”Gushhhh...” (What a strange person indeed...zzZ)

Saying so, Wo-Chien fell asleep just like that,

Ting-Lu, Chi-Yu: ”...”

That old fellow is still the same!

Not far away, Calyrex watched the three newcomers to the ranch with interest.
