Urban Martial Saint

Hearing Wanyan Hongsheng’s words, the guard was so scared he wet himself. His body was constantly trembling, his pants were soaking wet, and it was dripping down his legs, yet he didn’t feel any of it.

”Th... Third Master, I... I... I was wrong, please don’t hold it against me, please... forgive me, I... I won’t dare to do it again, never again...” the guard pleaded in a trembling voice. At this moment, he didn’t need to say anything else. For the past few days, this had been his attitude toward Wanyan Hongsheng. Trying to explain was useless, and now he could only beg for mercy.

In fact, the guard could never have imagined in his wildest dreams that Wanyan Hongsheng’s strength was still intact. At this moment, he truly regretted his actions, regretting why he ever provoked this figure!

Wanyan Hongsheng’s expression was calm. He slowly patted the guard on the back twice and softly said, ”Every debt has its debtor. I know what to do. Rest assured, I won’t kill you now. However, I have a few questions to ask you, and you must answer them honestly!”

Hearing Wanyan Hongsheng’s words, the guard was overjoyed and quickly said, ”Third Master, you... you can ask anything, I... I’ll tell you everything...”

”Where did my second brother and the others go now?” Wanyan Hongsheng asked in a deep voice.

”They went out to hunt Ye Qing and those from the Sword Saint Sect...” the guard replied, ”They’ve been out for five or six days already, without any success, so they probably won’t be back anytime soon.”

”So, does that mean there aren’t many guards left in the manor?” Wanyan Hongsheng asked.

”This...” The guard hesitated a little, but seeing Wanyan Hongsheng’s expression change, he quickly said, ”There are still guards, but it depends on their strength. Now in the manor, there are only about five or six peak masters left, and they are among the weaker ones in terms of power. The truly strong ones have been taken by the Second Master to deal with Ye Qing and the Sword Saint Sect.”

Hearing this, Wanyan Hongsheng’s face lit up with joy, and he continued, ”And what about Wanyan Hongfeng?”

Previously, Wanyan Hongsheng addressed Wanyan Hongfeng as big brother, but now he called him by name because he was utterly disheartened by Wanyan Hongfeng. Since he had decided to resist, he would completely sever ties with Wanyan Hongfeng.

”Family Head...” The guard only uttered two words, and Wanyan Hongsheng’s face immediately darkened, saying, ”He’s a treacherous dog!”

The guard was stunned for a moment, then quickly said, ”Yes, yes, yes, he’s... he’s a treacherous dog. The treacherous dog... he’s still in seclusion and hasn’t come out these days.”

”Where is he in seclusion?” Wanyan Hongsheng asked again.

”In the secret chamber near the main building,” the guard replied.

”The secret chamber near the main building!” A flash of sharp light crossed Wanyan Hongsheng’s eyes. He nodded slowly, releasing the grip on the guard’s hands, letting out a cold smile, and said, ”Very good, your answers are satisfactory!”

The guard was overjoyed immediately and quickly said, ”Third Master, then... then I’m... I’m fine now?”

”Rest assured, I said I won’t kill you now!” Wanyan Hongsheng let out a cold laugh, gently patting the guard on the back a few times, and said, ”Take off your clothes.”

”Ah?” The guard was stunned for a moment, looking at Wanyan Hongsheng in surprise, not knowing what he intended to do.

”Take off your clothes, didn’t you understand?” Wanyan Hongsheng said, taking off his own prison clothes and throwing them to the guard, ”Put this on.”

The guard finally understood what Wanyan Hongsheng meant; he wanted to switch clothes with him. The guard wasn’t dumb and knew that Wanyan Hongsheng was planning to wear his clothes to escape.

The guard didn’t have time to consider the consequences now. He knew that if he resisted, Wanyan Hongsheng could kill him and change clothes anyway. So at this moment, it was better to cooperate with Wanyan Hongsheng and preserve his life.

After hurriedly taking off his clothes and swapping with Wanyan Hongsheng, the guard looked at Wanyan Hongsheng in fear and asked quietly, ”Third Master, now... what happens now? Can I... can I leave?”

”Leave where?” Wanyan Hongsheng coldly glared at him, and said, ”If you’re not sitting here, how am I supposed to get out?”

”This...” The guard’s face fell, ”Third Master, there aren’t any guards in the manor that can stop you. The Family Head—not the treacherous dog—is still in seclusion. No one can stop you from leaving. Please... please don’t make things difficult for a humble servant like me...”

”Difficult?” Wanyan Hongsheng let out a cold laugh, suddenly reached out, and pressed the guard’s acupoints. The guard was startled, his mouth opened several times, but no sound came out.

”You know it’s difficult for you?” Wanyan Hongsheng looked at the guard coldly and said, ”During the days I’ve lived here, how have you made things difficult for me? Now you tell me it’s difficult for you? Hmph, didn’t you think about the troubles you gave me back then?”

The guard looked extremely distressed, opening his mouth to speak but remained silent.

”I know, I’ve said that I won’t kill you now. Rest assured, my words hold true, I definitely won’t kill you. However, while you can escape death, the living punishment will not be spared.” Wanyan Hongsheng laughed coldly, ”The few taps I gave on your back just now, I used Dark Energy. You can’t feel it now, but a week from now, your spine will fracture, and your spine will be slowly destroyed. By then, you’ll become a cripple, a person who can only lie in bed every day. By that time, you’ll understand what it means to be better off dead!”

Wanyan Hongsheng’s voice was icy, and his words further sent chills down one’s spine. The guard trembled all over, his mouth muttering continuously, but having had his acupoints sealed by Wanyan Hongsheng, he couldn’t utter a single word, only helplessly pleaded with his eyes. However, how could Wanyan Hongsheng be merciful to him? Wanyan Hongsheng was a person who could even kill his own brother!

”Alright, now you stay here and sit for me for a while.” Wanyan Hongsheng turned the guard around, making him face away from the dungeon door. This way, even if someone came by, they wouldn’t see his face clearly, let alone think he had already left.

Wanyan Hongsheng picked up the guard’s steel rod and keys, walked straight out of the cell, and locked the door on the way out. Inside, the guard, hearing the door lock, was on the verge of tears. He truly regretted it now, regretting why he provoked Wanyan Hongsheng.

After exiting the cell, Wanyan Hongsheng dared not be careless. He kept his head down and walked out of the dungeon. Fortunately, he was wearing the guard’s clothes, and no one suspected him. He easily walked out of the dungeon.

The manor had quite a few guards, as the guard had mentioned, but without a Peak Master overseeing, these guards were nothing to Wanyan Hongsheng. However, Wanyan Hongsheng did not rush to leave, donning the guard’s clothes, sneaking towards the back of the manor.

Behind the manor were several houses, inside which the Wanyan Family’s weapons were stored, including some modern weapons, guns, explosives, and the like. The Wanyan Family was well-prepared; when explosives were needed, they always stocked up.

Wanyan Hongsheng entered the house where the explosives were stored, which was dark and cool inside. In the hall stood two guards, the ones guarding this ammo depot.

Upon seeing someone enter, the two men immediately came up, one of them said sternly, ”Stop, what are you doing?”

”I’m here to deliver a message...” Wanyan Hongsheng said softly, slowly moving forward.

”A message?” The two guards glanced at each other, at which point Wanyan Hongsheng, like a ghost, rushed forward, knocking down both guards.

The strength of these two guards was also decent. However, compared to Wanyan Hongsheng, they were insignificant. Both were knocked down without making a sound.

Wanyan Hongsheng dragged the two into the shadows, directly using Inner Strength to shatter their hearts, then got up and headed deeper into the room.

Passing the hall, he arrived outside a dark room in the back. Inside, two people were busily conducting research. These two were specially assigned by the Wanyan Family for explosives research, experts in the field.

The strength of these two needed no mention; they were incredibly weak. As Wanyan Hongsheng entered, they hadn’t even noticed. Wanyan Hongsheng, being straightforward, went to grab them both and pinned them down.

They stared at Wanyan Hongsheng in surprise, mainly focused on their research, oblivious of events outside. However, they knew Wanyan Hongsheng’s identity, as he was once the third-ranking member of the Wanyan Family.

”Don’t speak, listen to me!” Wanyan Hongsheng said leisurely while looking at them, ”I need an explosive, a powerful time bomb, who can make one for me?”

The two exchanged a glance, one cautiously asked, ”Third Master, how powerful does the bomb need to be?”

Wanyan Hongsheng took a deep breath, turned his head to gaze at the nearby main building, and said softly, ”Enough to raze that main building to the ground!”

”Ah?” The two were stunned, unsure of Wanyan Hongsheng’s intentions. They were not aware of Wanyan Hongsheng’s dungeon confinement so didn’t understand his statement.

”Can it be done?” Wanyan Hongsheng asked.

One quickly replied, ”No problem, we already have one ready that might be slightly more powerful than you asked!”

”Very good, bring it to me!” Wanyan Hongsheng was overjoyed, as it was precisely what he needed.

The two immediately entered the storage warehouse, bringing out a bomb wired and ready. Wanyan Hongsheng had them set the timer for one hour, then took the bomb and left. Before leaving the room, he killed the two to eliminate any future risk!
