Urban Martial Saint

After the Tianzhu Sword fell into the hands of the people of the Church, Ye Qing was constantly pondering how to retrieve it.

Last time in the Demon Hideout Cave, he initially planned to use the Devouring Demon Flower of the cave to deal with these people and retrieve the Tianzhu Sword. However, the Sky-Killing Master had been through the cave and knew the way out, so in the end, half of them managed to escape, taking the Tianzhu Sword with them. Ye Qing initially thought it was impossible to get the sword back, but unexpectedly, something happened here. Fu Qingping single-handedly killed eight peak masters, severely injured those three experts, and even left behind the Tianzhu Sword, which finally returned to Ye Qing’s hands.

According to Du Canglang, the Tianzhu Sword had always been hidden in Mount Duwang, appearing only once when brought out by The Immortal Lord. But Fu Qingping recognized it at a glance as the Tianzhu Sword, which was truly surprising.

Ye Qing stared at Fu Qingping in surprise, asking: ”Master Ancestor, have you seen this Tianzhu Sword before?”

”No,” Fu Qingping shook his head, then stroked the Qingping Sword behind him, saying: ”However, when you opened the box just now, the Sword Qi surged, making this Qingping Sword tremble. I knew then that this sword was no ordinary item. Moreover, the power within the Sword Qi was immense, clearly someone had infused power into the sword’s body. In the world, apart from the Tianzhu Sword, what other sword could possess such formidable power?”

”I see,” Ye Qing realized and walked over holding the Tianzhu Sword, smiling: ”This Tianzhu Sword was given to me by Wuji, but then it was taken by the people of the Church. I thought I couldn’t retrieve it, but fortunately, Master Ancestor came to help this time. Otherwise, this Tianzhu Sword would likely have been taken away by the Church’s people.”

Fu Qingping said nothing, reaching out to take the Tianzhu Sword from Ye Qing’s hand. He casually opened the box, and the crimson longsword flew out from the box, precisely the Tianzhu Sword.

Fu Qingping deftly caught the Tianzhu Sword, performing several sword flower gestures in the air, revealing a thoughtful expression. He remained silent for a while before placing the Tianzhu Sword back in the box and handing it to Ye Qing.

”Master Ancestor, the Tianzhu Sword must be used alongside the Tianzhu Sword Technique,” Ye Qing said: ”I saw the Tianzhu Sword Technique in The Tomb of the Duwang Sect Master, I’ll recite it to you.”

”You entered The Tomb of the Duwang Sect Master?” Fu Qingping asked with interest, seeming to have little interest in the Tianzhu Sword Technique, but rather curious about The Tomb of the Duwang Sect Master.

”Yes,” Ye Qing said, looking at Fu Qingping, puzzled by his sudden inquiry.

”Inside The Tomb of the Duwang Sect Master...” Fu Qingping took a soft breath, asking: ”Is there the corpse of the Duwang Sect Master?”

”Ah?” Ye Qing was taken aback, Fu Qingping’s question left him even more shocked. Inside The Tomb of the Duwang Sect Master, there was indeed no corpse of the Duwang Sect Master. The coffin contained only a box, which held Buddha’s Relic. But this fact was unknown to anyone, how could Fu Qingping ask such a question? Since he asked this question, it indicated he suspected there was no corpse in The Tomb of the Duwang Sect Master. But what was he basing his suspicion on?

”Inside The Tomb of the Duwang Sect Master, is there the corpse of the Duwang Sect Master?” Fu Qingping asked again.

”No,” Ye Qing responded, realizing, staring at Fu Qingping in surprise, asking: ”Master Ancestor, have you also been inside The Tomb of the Duwang Sect Master?”

Fu Qingping shook his head, looking at Ye Qing, saying: ”I know what you’re thinking, I haven’t been inside The Tomb of the Duwang Sect Master, I’m just suspecting there might not be the Duwang Sect Master’s corpse in there.”

”Why do you suspect that?” Ye Qing was even more surprised.

Fu Qingping thought for a moment, saying: ”Let me tell you, I’ve been inside three tombs, and these tombs’ owners all once entered the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates, achieving significant feats. But, do you know what commonality I found within these three tombs?”

”What?” Ye Qing asked, his curiosity piqued, his heart racing. Intuition told him this was anything but straightforward.

Fu Qingping took a deep breath, speaking solemnly: ”Inside these three tombs, there were no corpses of the tomb owners!”

”What!?” Ye Qing’s eyes widened, he initially thought only The Tomb of the Duwang Sect Master was like this, but unexpectedly, in the three tombs Fu Qingping had been in, there were no corpses either.

The Duwang Sect Master also entered the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates, same as these other figures, and yet lacked a corpse in the tomb. Thus becoming a shared characteristic among them, inevitably raising suspicions about something amiss.

”Why is it like this?” Ye Qing eagerly asked.

”This is something I haven’t been able to figure out,” Fu Qingping replied: ”If only one tomb lacked a corpse, it could be disregarded. But all three tombs lacking corpses does present a rather mysterious situation.”

”What about other figures who entered the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates, are there corpses in their graves?” Ye Qing inquired.

”I’ve only entered these three graves, none of them had corpses. As for others, I haven’t visited,” Fu Qingping was silent for a moment, saying: ”But I’ve heard from people about two graves of figures who entered the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates, and similarly, there were no corpses inside.”

”This... this is very bizarre isn’t it?” Ye Qing remarked: ”No corpses at all? Where did their bodies go then?”

Fu Qingping said nothing, his expression remained silent, yet Ye Qing could see he was extraordinarily curious about this matter, given these people were epoch-defining figures. Even after death, their influence persisted through generations. Naturally, their tombs garnered substantial attention. So, these tombs lacking corpses inevitably aroused curiosity.

If a grave or two lacked bodies, one might speculate theft or other extraordinary circumstances. But the fact that all these discovered tombs lack bodies makes it supremely peculiar. Furthermore, they share a commonality of having entered the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates and having tombs without corpses. Should this information become widespread, perhaps the entire world would be shocked by it.

At this moment, Ye Qing suddenly recalled a matter. Inside The Tomb of the Duwang Sect Master, a silk cloth was left in the Duwang Sect Master’s coffin, with some text, mainly chronicling the life of the Duwang Sect Master and the origins of Buddha’s Relic. And at the end, the Duwang Sect Master left a note, saying it’s time to fulfill an appointment, alongside advice to future generations to never enter the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates.

At the time, Ye Qing didn’t comprehend what these contents meant, later many things happened, nearly forgetting about it. Now, as Fu Qingping mentioned these tombs lacking corpses, Ye Qing suddenly recalled it, and without hesitation, shared this matter with Fu Qingping, including the issue of Buddha’s Relic.

Learning Ye Qing’s body contained another Buddha’s Relic, Fu Qingping was astounded. But upon hearing the latter parts, his expression changed instantly. He attentively stared at Ye Qing, sternly saying: ”The silk cloth left by the Duwang Sect Master indeed had such words? It’s time, fulfill the appointment?”

”Indeed, and in the end, he also advised the later generations never to enter the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates!” Ye Qing critically eyed Fu Qingping, knowing immediately this matter bears unique features, otherwise Fu Qingping wouldn’t display such an expression.

Fu Qingping inhaled deeply, murmuringly saying: ”To think there was such a note left.”

”Left as well?” Ye Qing asked astoundedly looking at Fu Qingping: ”What do you mean, left as well? Master Ancestor, have you seen such a note too?”

”Certainly!” Fu Qingping slowly nodded, looking at Ye Qing, solemnly stating: ”Inside the three tombs I’ve entered, similar contents were left. The preceding texts might vary, but at the end they’re identical, stating it’s time to fulfill an appointment. Furthermore, advising later generations to avoid entering the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates. Unexpectedly, the contents left in The Tomb of the Duwang Sect Master are similar!”

”This...” Ye Qing gaped, stunned, staring at Fu Qingping. With these farewell notes being identical, curiosity surges further about what truly transpired back then.

”Why is it like this?” Ye Qing couldn’t help asking: ”They entered the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates, becoming supreme figures of their era, why then, do they advise future generations against entering the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates? Moreover, the appointment they’re to fulfill, what exactly is it? It signifies those writings were left post-burial. In other words, when they ’died,’ it was feigned death!”

With this thought, Ye Qing suddenly recalled something pressing, exclaiming: ”Right, there’s also Divine Doctor An Shiping!”

”What about An Shiping?” Fu Qingping quickly asked, curious about An Shiping’s situation, being from the same era, Fu Qingping held significant interest.

”Master Ancestor, do you know of An Shiping’s feigned death?” Ye Qing inquired.

”Heard about it,” Fu Qingping nodded, saying: ”Actually, when he ’died,’ I suspected as much. His capabilities far exceeded ours. Logically, he shouldn’t have exhausted his lifespan so quickly. At the time, we speculated whether he feigned death, deceiving the world, but really concealed himself upon Medicine King Mountain, living in obscurity for years. Though having entered the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates, the reopening of the gates holds little significance for him, why would he resort to that then?”

Ye Qing paid no attention to what Fu Qingping said, gazing at him intently, inhaling deeply, articulating word by word: ”Master Ancestor, the critical point is, Divine Doctor An Shiping spoke similar words!”
