Urban Martial Saint

The three people who rushed in last were precisely Huang Yunfeng and his group. Upon entering, they saw Nalan Jingwei surrounded by four people. Without a word, they rushed over to help Nalan Jingwei fend off the Peak Masters around him.

”Prince Nalan, how are you doing?” Huang Yunfeng shouted loudly, quite astonished by the presence of so many Peak Masters at the scene.

With Huang Yunfeng and the others intercepting the Peak Masters around him, Nalan Jingwei felt much less pressure. Looking at the Great Lord again, his initial worries faded, replaced by a newfound confidence.

”I’m fine!” Nalan Jingwei replied loudly, ”Everyone be careful, these people from the Church are not weak in combat. Do not underestimate them!”

”Don’t worry, I fought them in the early years and am very familiar with these scum!” Huang Yunfeng shouted with a laugh. Having been ambushed by the Church people in the past, he struck at them with the same ruthlessness as Slaughter Venerable, without a hint of mercy.

After Slaughter Venerable’s group and Huang Yunfeng’s group rushed in, the situation on the scene changed significantly. Although the Church had ten people including the Great Lord, one was left in the warehouse to watch Ye Qing to prevent his escape, leaving only nine Peak Masters outside. But Executioner Scholar’s group and Nalan Jingwei’s group combined totaled eight Peak Masters, essentially balancing the numbers on both sides.

Moreover, the key point was that the Church’s Peak Masters were noticeably slightly weaker in combat strength. Although there were nine Peak Masters against Nalan Jingwei, Executioner Scholar, and their eight people, they were still being suppressed.

Although the Great Lord was the strongest at the scene, he was only slightly better than Nalan Jingwei and Executioner Scholar. Currently, with Nalan Jingwei holding him off alone, he couldn’t assist others and could only watch as the other Church members gradually fell into a disadvantage. He was anxious, knowing that even if he could eventually defeat Nalan Jingwei, it would take a long time. That time was enough for his side to be resolved.

Seeing this situation, the Great Lord realized that the situation was completely unfavorable to their side. If it continued like this, as soon as any of their Peak Masters fell, it would lead to a vicious cycle, and their side would be utterly defeated.

Therefore, after a brief hesitation, the Great Lord suddenly called out to the person guarding Ye Qing in the warehouse, instructing him to seal Ye Qing’s acupoints and then come out to help.

There was still a Peak Master in the warehouse, and if he could come out to help in time, the situation would improve significantly. At such a moment, he couldn’t afford to worry too much; he had to at least maintain their advantage. Besides, as long as Ye Qing’s acupoints were sealed, there was no way he could escape.

Following the Great Lord’s orders, the Peak Master in the warehouse did not hesitate for a moment, immediately sealing several major acupoints on Ye Qing’s body and rushing out to assist.

Outside, the melee was intense, and this Peak Master, upon joining the fray, was also startled by the situation. He quickly joined the battle, instantly changing the dynamics. Originally, the Church was completely at a disadvantage, but with the addition of this Peak Master, things evened out, and they even showed signs of overpowering their opponents.

Seeing this, the Great Lord’s spirits lifted, as he focused all his efforts on dealing with Nalan Jingwei. As long as the rest of the Church’s forces could hold their ground, he could concentrate on dealing with Nalan Jingwei. Once he eliminated Nalan Jingwei, he could then move to deal with the others, bringing an end to the battle.

Nalan Jingwei’s strength was substantial, but he remained slightly inferior to the Great Lord. With the Great Lord’s full force, Nalan Jingwei was quickly overwhelmed, forced to utilize all his strength just to cope. He understood clearly that, under the current circumstances, if he continued to struggle with the Great Lord, he would eventually suffer losses. However, caught in this tight spot, retreating was not an option.

While the others were engaged in fierce battle, Ye Qing silently stood up inside the warehouse. Although the Peak Master had sealed several major acupoints on his body, it was utterly ineffective for Ye Qing. With his meridians long gone, sealing his acupoints held no restraint over him.

The Peak Master previously sealed Ye Qing’s acupoints and Ye Qing feigned immobility, deceiving the man. Once the man rushed out and chaos ensued, Ye Qing quickly got up, took advantage of the lack of attention, sneaked to the back of the warehouse, climbed out through a window, and left the place.

Outside, people were embroiled in intense battle, and no one suspected that Ye Qing, who had his acupoints sealed inside, could still move freely. Thus, Ye Qing easily slipped out of the warehouse, skirted around several other buildings via a small path, and quietly exited through the back gate of the complex.

Ironically, the back gate that Ye Qing used was the very route Prince Nalan and his group had taken to get there. They had initially planned to circle around the back of the complex to take advantage once Executioner Scholar and his group engaged the others inside. Unexpectedly, they ended up getting dragged into the melee with the Church’s forces alongside Executioner Scholar and his group.

As Ye Qing emerged from here, he avoided those inside but soon encountered the vehicle in which Nalan Jingwei’s group had arrived.

Ye Qing initially intended to bypass the vehicle and make a quiet exit. But a glance from afar revealed something was amiss inside the car. Inside, a man was pressing a woman beneath him, seeming ready to commit an unspeakable act. The woman was struggling desperately but seemed too weak, her efforts futile.

Ye Qing was surprised to come across such a situation in this remote place. But having a kind heart, he couldn’t just walk away from such an atrocity. So, he picked up a stone from the ground, crept up to the car, and seized the moment when the man’s attention was on the woman, striking the man on the head with the stone and knocking him out.

Completely focused, the man hadn’t noticed his surroundings. Hit by the stone, he had no time to react and immediately passed out.

Inside the car, the woman seized the moment as the man was struck down, quickly scrambling to a corner like a frightened rabbit. Her clothes were torn, leaving her fair skin exposed. If Ye Qing had arrived a moment later, she might have truly suffered harm at the man’s hands.

Noticing the woman’s disheveled state from afar, Ye Qing refrained from looking at her as he approached. After knocking out the man, he immediately offered her his jacket, saying, ”Put this on.”

After a moment, the woman didn’t accept his jacket, leaving Ye Qing puzzled. Avoiding looking at her due to her state, he urged, ”Please put on the jacket, you...”

Before Ye Qing could finish, the woman suddenly spoke, ”Ye... Ye Qing!?”

Ye Qing was taken aback, but as he prepared to look up, the woman suddenly threw herself into his arms, hugging him tightly while sobbing, ”Ye Qing, it really is you! It really is you!”

Ye Qing then recognized the woman; she was none other than Wen’er, the daughter of the Headmaster of the Southern Ridge Sect!

”Wen’er, why... why are you here?” Ye Qing asked, astounded and blushing at the sight of Wen’er’s tattered clothes. He quickly wrapped her in his jacket.

Overjoyed to see Ye Qing again, Wen’er didn’t mind her disheveled appearance. Clinging to his arm, she exclaimed excitedly, ”Ye Qing, it truly is you. How did you end up here? How are your injuries? Are you okay?”

While speaking, Ye Qing noticed Wen’er’s condition. Although his jacket covered her, it was clear that she had been through a lot during this time and looked visibly haggard.

Honestly, Ye Qing secretly thanked himself for taking a closer look when he noticed movement near the vehicle earlier. Had he changed course and ran off, he wouldn’t have discovered the situation inside the car, let alone rescued Wen’er. If that had happened, she likely would have suffered greatly at the man’s hands.

After offering Wen’er a few reassuring words, she gradually calmed down and explained what had happened after they left Mount Duwang.

Ye Qing only knew from Wuji that Wen’er and Du Canglang had left Mount Duwang, but was unaware of the subsequent events. During that time, Ye Qing had always worried about whether Du Canglang might harm Wen’er since he had witnessed Du Canglang’s brutality firsthand.

Surprisingly, Du Canglang had protected Wen’er while leaving Mount Duwang. In fact, he was captured by Nalan Jingwei and others, suffering such misfortune and nearly losing his life to protect her.

”Where is Senior Du now?” After hearing Wen’er’s story, Ye Qing asked anxiously.

”The driver just now put him in the trunk...” Wen’er pointed to the trunk, ”After Nalan Jingwei and the others left, the driver tried to take advantage of me. For convenience, he put Senior Du in the trunk. Ye Qing, you must quickly check on him. He’s seriously injured, and I don’t know how he is now!”
