Urban Martial Saint

Earlier, when he entered that casino, Ye Qing was already prepared for this kind of situation. Upon hearing what was said, he casually mentioned Boss Wang again.

The waiter clearly did not know who Boss Wang was either. Upon hearing this, he immediately responded politely, ”I’m sorry, this area is for VIPs, and only Gold Card members can go upstairs. If you need anything, I can arrange it for you, but to go up this building, a Gold Card member must take you inside.”

Although the waiter spoke politely, his tone wasn’t very courteous; instead, it carried a bit of arrogance. He referred to people as ”you” instead of the more respectful ”sir,” which isn’t the attitude a well-trained waiter should have. Apparently, this waiter must be one of the Li Family’s people, which made him so arrogant on his own turf.

Ye Qing understood that the more they prohibited him from entering, the more there was something wrong inside. Of course, he wouldn’t force his way in and first turned to leave the villa.

At this moment, people were continuously entering the Li Family Courtyard. Compared to the daytime, the courtyard was much more lively in the evening.

Ye Qing entered the villa with the Underground Boxing Ring and found a spot by the window, pretending to watch the boxing match, but he was actually discreetly watching the third villa. The three villas were located very close to each other, and from this window, he could clearly see into the hall of that villa.

Two waiters were constantly standing in the hall, and when someone entered, they would immediately go over to greet them. Some people took out Gold Cards and easily went upstairs. Others, like Ye Qing, appeared to be there for the first time and were asked to leave again after entering. It seemed practically impossible to get inside without a Gold Card.

Ye Qing furrowed his brows slightly. From the Underground Boxing Ring and casino inside these two villas, he could already see that the Li Family was running illegal businesses. Both villas had no restrictions, but that third villa did, which led Ye Qing to ponder what secrets that third villa held that couldn’t be discovered?

After hiding in the villa for a while, Ye Qing noticed that the third villa seemed to have only two people guarding the entrance. Actually, the security in the villa was extremely tight. The first-floor hall indeed had only two people, but the villa’s perimeter and interior were filled with surveillance. Additionally, Ye Qing noticed that at the top of the villa, there were several windows where people were watching the surrounding area. Undoubtedly, if someone attempted to forcibly enter the villa, Li Family personnel would immediately come to assist and drive them out.

The tighter the security of the villa, the more curious Ye Qing became about what was inside it. After observing for a while, three people walked out of the third villa, seemingly ready to leave.

Seeing these three people about to leave, Ye Qing immediately left the villa and followed them from a distance. These three people could never have imagined that someone inside the Li Family Courtyard would dare to have ulterior motives, so they were utterly unguarded and directly went to the parking lot to find their car.

Ye Qing also went to the parking lot. Of course, he didn’t have a car. However, this was no problem for Ye Qing. As these three got in their car, he bypassed several cars, avoiding the eyes of those watching over the cars, and went directly to the back of their car. He reached out and grabbed the vehicle’s undercarriage support and hid underneath the vehicle, leaving the villa with the car. The entire process went unnoticed, even by the three driving the car.

The car left the Li Family Courtyard, driving along the small road for about five or six miles. Ye Qing estimated that they had left the Li Family’s range and decided it was time to act. He took the Seven-Star Ancient Sword from the box and banged the sword hilt on the car body a few times, creating a loud noise that the people inside could hear clearly.

”What’s going on?” the fat man sitting in the back immediately opened his eyes and said, ”Why is there so much noise?”

The driver in the front said, ”I don’t know, maybe we hit a rock or something.”

”Can hitting a rock make that much noise?!” the fat man impatiently waved his hand and said, ”Stop the car and go check it out.”

The driver stopped the car immediately. As soon as he opened the door, a person sprang over, raised a fist, and hit the back of his head. The driver did not even have time to yelp before he passed out directly.

The person in the passenger seat saw what was happening and immediately reached for Ye Qing’s wrist. This person was quick and accurate, clearly a martial artist. If he encountered an ordinary robber, he could at least handle a few of them. But against Ye Qing, this level of skill was nowhere near enough.

Ye Qing let him grab his wrist and casually yanked it back. The man was powerless to resist and was directly pulled out of the car by Ye Qing. He hurriedly tried to kick Ye Qing, but Ye Qing punched him hard in the chest, making him fall to the ground, coughing up a few mouthfuls of blood and unable to get up.

The fat man in the back saw what was happening, his face turned pale in fear, and as he opened the car door to escape, he shouted, ”Help! Help! It’s a robbery!”

Before he could take two steps, Ye Qing caught up with him, grabbed him by the collar, and pulled him back, pressing him into the snow.

”Hero, hero, spare me, spare me...” The fat man was nearly scared out of his wits and pleaded, ”I’ll give you whatever money you want, just don’t kill me, please don’t kill me...”

Ye Qing ignored him, pushed him back into the car, and then pulled up the driver and the bodyguard. The driver was already unconscious, and the bodyguard had no strength to resist. Ye Qing tapped their Coma Acupoints, letting Inner Strength penetrate the points, which would keep them unconscious for over twelve hours.

Ye Qing casually tossed the two into the trunk, locked it, and walked back into the car. He looked at the fat man and said in a deep voice, ”Do you want to live?”

The fat man nodded quickly, like a chicken pecking at rice, afraid Ye Qing would kill him.

”If you want to live, I ask, and you answer. Dare to deceive me, I’ll make sure you suffer greatly!” Ye Qing drew out the Seven-Star Ancient Sword and gestured threateningly at the fat man. The sight of that ominously gleaming sword made the fat man’s legs tremble, and he nodded his head vigorously.

Ye Qing asked in a deep voice, ”What exactly were you doing at the Li Family?”

”Huh?” The fat man was taken aback, not expecting Ye Qing to ask such a question; he thought Ye Qing was going to abduct him.

”That is not an answer!” Ye Qing pointed the Seven-Star Ancient Sword at the fat man and said sternly, ”Answer wrong again, and I won’t be so polite!”

The fat man shivered with fright and quickly said, ”I... I went to pick up goods.”

Ye Qing was surprised; he assumed the third villa was for gambling too. How did it become picking up goods?

”What goods?” Ye Qing asked.

The fat man hesitated for a moment, but when he saw Ye Qing raise the sword threateningly, he immediately said, ”It’s... it’s... some rare goods...”

”You are testing my patience!” Ye Qing’s face turned slightly cold as he intimidated the fat man with a glare.

The fat man: ”It’s... it’s rare metals...”

Without another word, Ye Qing stabbed the Seven-Star Ancient Sword into the fat man’s shoulder, causing him to scream in agony, his body spasming.

”Why... why are you...” the fat man cried out as he struggled backward, but how could he possibly get away from Ye Qing?

”I told you, if you dare to lie to me, I will make you suffer!” Ye Qing said in a deep voice, ”Do you take me for a fool? The other two villas, one houses an underground boxing ring, the other a casino, and neither is so heavily guarded. But the third villa, with its tight security, is just selling rare metals? Do you really need to sell rare metals in such a place?”

The fat man’s face turned pale; he didn’t expect Ye Qing to have already figured out the situation with the two villas, and now he was in deep trouble of his own making.

”I’ll ask again, what goods are you actually talking about?” Ye Qing said in a deep voice, ”This time, if you dare lie to me again, I’ll cut off one of your hands!”

The fat man shivered, hesitated for a moment, then gritted his teeth and said quietly, ”I... I can answer your question, but can you first answer one of mine?”

”Speak!” Ye Qing said in a deep voice.

”Are you... are you a cop?” The fat man looked at Ye Qing with a hint of panic, clearly quite afraid of the police.

”I’m not!” Ye Qing replied calmly.

”Not a cop, then... then why are you involved in this?” the fat man asked curiously.

”This is my business!” Ye Qing said in a deep voice, ”Either you tell me honestly, or I’ll kill you myself and ask someone else!”

”No...” The fat man waved his hands frantically, tears streaming down his face, ”If I tell you what’s going on inside, the Li Family will never let me off, I... I really can’t say...”

”So, do you want to die now, or wait for the Li Family to kill you?” Ye Qing paused for a moment, then said, ”If you tell me now, you can still go back, take the money, and flee. Besides, the Li Family won’t last much longer; you don’t need to fear them. But if you don’t speak, I’ll kill you now, you think carefully about how to choose!”

The fat man cried bitterly; even a ghost would know what to choose in such a situation. He scratched his head and whispered, ”Big brother, I don’t know what grudge you have with the Li Family. But this matter is very serious; if I tell you, the Li Family won’t spare me. Big brother, I just ask that you never let the Li Family know that I disclosed this!”

Seeing the fat man’s demeanor, it was clear he was deeply terrified of the Li Family, which made Ye Qing’s impression of them even worse. What on earth had the Li Family done in Liaoshen City to instill such fear in people?
