Rebirth: A Cinderella's Counterattack

Chapter 92: Chapter 89: Luo Family_3

The Old Madam of the Luo family, Yue Tingyu, upon hearing the noise, also hurried over from the living room, followed by the Luo family members who usually wouldn’t all be present even during the New Year celebrations.

Seeing Luo Qianqian still shedding tears, Yue Tingyu felt distressed. After much difficulty, she finally had a granddaughter; how could she be treated so unfairly? With an unhappy expression, she asked, ”Lao Si, what happened?”

Luo Xiying looked helplessly at her slickly dressed second brother and said, ”Second Brother, you need to discipline your Xiao Ran. Sneaking off to meet her and then scaring her on top of that.”

”Xiao Ran?” Luo Xihan’s eyes widened. Her youngest son had said he was only going to find a talented musician, right?

”Dad, he already confessed. He intentionally let Xiao Mei misunderstand on purpose. Xiao Mei has always thought that the family was in a silent struggle to eliminate them to get a larger share of the inheritance,” Luo Yanhao said as he put down his sleeves and walked into the room.

”That little bastard!!!” A roar erupted from the Luo family’s big house, leaving Luo Qianqian and Luo Shufan with bewildered expressions, watching everything unfold.

Luo Yanhai, the nineteen-year-old eldest grandson of the Luo family, took the lead with his younger brother, ranked third, Luo Yanwu, bursting out of the room and charging in the direction Luo Yanhao had come from. Luo Yanran’s pitiful voice rang out once more.

”Lao Er, Xiao Ran really went too far,” Yue Tingyu frowned at her second son.

”Mom, I’ll go after they’ve blown off some steam,” Luo Xihan said, her face filled with anger. Even Jia Ning, who stood beside Luo Xihan, was fuming—how could she have given birth to such a troublemaking son?

”Little sister, big brother has avenged you. Fifth brother, don’t be mad either. Xiao Ran is a child who... just deserves a beating,” Luo Yanhai stood smiling in front of Luo Qianqian, who was held by Luo Xiying, ”I’m your eldest male cousin; my name is Luo Yanhai.”

”Little sister, little brother, I’m your third brother, my name is Luo Yanwu.” Luo Yanwu reached out to touch Luo Qianqian’s cheek, using a tissue to wipe away the tears, smiling a warm smile.

”Oh, right, I’m your second brother. That little bastard is my own younger brother; my name is Luo Yanhao.” Luo Yanhao watched his older brother and younger brother being attentive and suddenly realized that although they had dined together, he had never actually introduced himself.

”Brother,” Luo Qianqian wiggled free from Luo Xiying’s embrace. Fearing she had been hurt, Luo Xiying hastily set her down on the ground. Luo Qianqian pulled at the corner of Luo Shufan’s clothes and hid behind him, not daring to show her face.

Luo Shufan also looked at the group, obviously up to no good, with defensive eyes.

”Xiao Qianqian, I was wrong; please save me. These people have no respect—they agreed not to hit the face,” Luo Yanran, with a bruised and swollen nose, crawled into the room, grabbing onto Luo Qianqian from behind. Luo Qianqian was startled and let out a scream.

Luo Shufan quickly yanked his sister aside and sent a kick straight to Luo Yanran’s nose. Luo Yanran was in pain but couldn’t express it, as the blood just poured out of his nose.

”Brother,” Luo Qianqian clung to Luo Shufan, but the other four also fixed their gazes on Luo Qianqian, as if she was calling to them, ”Are you okay? Does your foot hurt? Wuuu wuuu.”

Luo Yanran, holding his nose and tilting his head back, fought back tears. He was an idol; why did all his brothers have it out for his face? How could he go on being an idol if his face was all banged up? And to make matters worse, his little cousin only cared if her own brother’s foot was hurting.

Jia Ning looked at her youngest son with blood pouring from his nose and felt a pang of sympathy. She was about to step forward but was held back by Luo Xihan.

Only after Luo Qianqian had taken care of her own brother did she turn to look at Luo Yanran, who seemed pitiable with his nosebleed. She reached into her pocket for a tissue and handed it over to Luo Yanran, ”Here, wipe it off...” Then she quickly ducked back behind Luo Shufan, who continued to guard his sister.

”Dad... What should we do about this?” Luo Xisi, the eldest of the Luo family, looked at the siblings who now viewed their relatives with hostility and felt a headache brewing.

”What to do? Just let it be! Lao Er, you take care of this mess with that stinking brat!” Luo Guohui had happily changed into clothes with bright colors that kids would like, but with his angry face, he was quite intimidating at the moment.

”Qianqian, to be honest, aside from scaring you, you were also scaring yourself. I just didn’t deny it. I’ve actually been very good to you. I bought you delicious food and even clothes; I’ve done nothing to wrong you,” Luo Yanran looked at Master who was now furious and hurriedly turned to the only person who could save him now.

Luo Qianqian furrowed her brows, hiding behind Luo Shufan, thinking that he might be right, but Luo Shufan didn’t see it that way.

”I’ve always regarded you as a sister’s boss, yet you turned out to be threatening her. No wonder sister has to stay up late writing all that junk!” Luo Shufan knew about his sister staying up late to write and draw.

”Boss?” Luo Xihan frowned.

Luo Yanran inwardly cursed his bad luck, his brain working overtime to think of a way to make amends.

”Can my brother and I go back now?” Luo Qianqian asked without looking at the others, her muffled voice coming from behind Luo Shufan.
