The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 192: Chapter 192- Malganor—The Architect

”A human dares look down on me? Fine, know my name before you go to hell. This great one is called...”

The demon was just about to introduce itself when Reinhardt disappeared and appeared behind the former.

BANG...

”Let’s see how you deal with it when all of my stats are set to [Pinnacle (Low)]”.

Before the demon could even react, he threw a devastating punch right in the middle of its spine.

CRACK... BOOM... there was a disturbing snapping noise, followed by the demon’s body bursting apart into two separate pieces. His lower half spun through the air, and its upper body slammed into the frantic demonic beast horde, killing numerous demonic monsters in the process.

That said...

”Eh? Gugh!! What happened?”

The demon blinked its eyes, pain shooting through its body. Its top half was separated from its lower half, and the middle portion of its body was gone. Yet the demon was still alive.

This showed how ridiculous the healing ability of a high ranking demon was. In just a minute, it had already regenerated most of its body back.

”You dare humiliate me, human!! I will kill you!!” The latter raged. A vast amount of mana viscous enough to be felt in the surrounding, coagulated and was then sucked into the magic circle that appeared above the sky where Reinhardt was.

”[High Tier Magic]— ፏረልኡ ዪጎፏዐዪ ፪ዐኡዪል].

At that very instant, dark clouds loomed over his head, and a giant column of lightning dropped down.

BOOM...

Land trembled, the ground for dozens of meters was uprooted, and everything, whether it be demonic beasts or demons, everyone that was in proximity of Reinhardt was extinguished into dust.

”How is it? Did you like the power of High Ranking Magic? Oh, right, you need to be alive to even answer me.. Kekeke.”

The demon laughed victoriously. However, its victory laugh was short lived as a voice interrupted it midway.

”Hmm, not bad. Your high ranking magic is quite refined. However, compared to the old and ancient demons, you still have a long way to go,” Reinhardt spoke, coming out of the centre of the scorched crater.

There was not even a single hair ruffled on his person, even after taking a high tier magic head on. His physical body, which had reached Divine, was beyond the likes of these newly risen high ranking demons to even put a scratch on.

What’s more, he had even donned on the [Celestial Vanguard] the indestructible armor given to him by Dioanax. Injuring him with this kind of child’s play was next to impossible.

”You!! Who the hell are you?”

Not expecting the human to know this much about them, much less survive from his most powerful magic, the high ranking demon was quite flustered and alarmed.

It flapped its wings and was just about to escape when, from the corner of its eyes, it saw the human point its sword towards it.

The next second, numerous flashing lights appeared around its body, bisecting it into numerous pieces that dropped from the sky like a bloody rain.

Everywhere its blood dropped, that place would become even darker from the contamination. Showcasing the dreadfulness of their race, born to destroy life.

This time, the demon did not regenerate back. It was truly and utterly dead after getting sliced by the Third Technique of the [Holy Sword Arts]— [Radiant Cascade].

After finishing off the high ranking demon, Reinhardt glanced at Leona’s fight. Just like him, she was engaged in a fight against a high ranking demon.

Although she was dominating her fight, it was far from being as relaxed and easy as his fight. Nevertheless, as one of the Seven Great Commanders anda knight who was able to reach the mystical level 9, she was among the handful of superhumans who could easily take on a high ranking demon and eliminate it.

Before long, Leona also finished the high ranking demon who was trying to flee from her and turned her attention towards the now leaderless army of low and mid ranking demons.

The next instant, she unleashed hell upon them, showcasing the power of her class Dawn Valkyrie.

With her sword raised towards the sky, she created an illusion of a starry sky over the eternally grey sky of the tainted land. Next, stars started twinkling and falling down in a wide radius on top of the demons and the demonic beasts, piercing their bodies and killing them on the spot.

On a closer look, these stars were actually pale gold lances that were filled with the attributes of stars and destruction.

The annihilation of the demon army and demonic beast horde led by two high ranking demons was swift and decisive. Within a couple of seconds, the army of a hundred, possibly even a thousand, was dead.

The knights of the Lunar Veil cried at the epic victory of their commander and ran up to her. Soon, Leona was surrounded by hundreds of members of her order, each holding admiration for her in their eyes.

The demons were gone, and with that, the battle was over. The order of the temple of light helped tend to the injured and healed them with their skills. Soon, they recovered enough to be able to move again.

Seeing that the time was right, Reinhardt quietly slipped away from the scene. Of course, it was just him thinking that he slipped away. In actuality, a man as conspicuous as him was nowhere as stealthy as he believed.

Leona saw him disappear from the corner of her eyes.

.

On top of a large mountain peak that was quite some distance away from here, a figure cursed loudly and slammed its fist on the ground, causing a part of the peak to crumble.

”Dammit, to think that there would be two level 9 humans among the group, how did my luck turn out to be so crappy?”

The being had pale white skin, long black hair and features that would make him quite handsome. However, if one fell for their looks they would be quite sorry as the person was no human.
