The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 166: Chapter 166- Holy Knights Vs Divine Paladin (5)

Zerina somersaulted behind him. However, before the gravity could pull her down, she stepped onto something and, using it as a foothold, she came attacking him directly from overhead.

Reinahrdt’s eyes in that instant captured the thing she used as a foothold. The wooden sword, more precisely Bob’s wooden sword. It was levitating in the air and providing a perfect landing point for Zerina... [Limitless].

Commendable!! The strategy, the teamwork, the execution, everything was perfect. There was not even a single flaw. That attack was impossible to dodge even for a level 10 hero.

Yes, if it were any other level 10 hero that is. Too bad for them, he was someone who had broken through the realm of heroes and stepped into the divine, allowing him to be able to dodge even the impossible...

!!!!

BANG... Before he could complete that thought, a blow landed and a visible ripple like a shockwave spread from the centre of the circle.

All eyes widened to the limit, staring at the inner circle. There was Zerina with her foot extended towards Reinhardt. It was perfect, and there was no opening in her attack. However, the Commander caught her kick right before it could hit him with an abnormal reflex.

Nevertheless, the woman wasn’t depressed. No, far from it, she was flashing him a grin that said she got him.

”It’s our victory!!” Zerina declared.

How? How did she move like that in that fraction of a second? Everything from her centre of gravity, tension of muscle, to her faint breath, everything dictated that she would come down with a punch.

Heck, even [Divine Rememberance] gave him the same result. However, in that impossible time frame, that woman broke all concepts of laws, made an impossible movement mid air, and came with a front kick.

His eyes from the heel of her foot, went to the thing she was hanging onto. The suspended sword and coiling around it was her... tail?

It was the damn tail that broke her momentum, allowing her to perform what she did!! A tail, something that he didn’t account for, changed the game.

Of course, even with such a detailed plan, they didn’t manage to actually land a hit. He caught Zerina’s foot with his hand right before it could hit him.

However, the very fact that he had to move his hand and break the handicap spoke volumes about the power and talent of his high ranking knights.

Reinhardt was a man who gave credit when it was due.

”It’s my loss”.

They performed splendidly, repeatedly shocking him with their moves.

WHOAAA... the moment he admitted that, thunderous claps started ringing from the surrounding. The knights, the squires, and even the townspeople all applauded for them. At some point, their training exercise had attracted the attention of all the citizens.

”Hehe.” Zerina slowly dropped down on the ground, her hot body made wonderful curves that endlessly tugged at a man’s heart.

”That movement just now...” He was talking about the movement she made right before the horizontal stab could hit her. It was very reminiscent of what Kevin did back then.

”Hehe, are you shocked? Ever since you told me about [Transition], the state of absolute freedom, I have been pondering over it. Today it seemed like a good day to master it.” Zerina gave him a proud smile filled with sensuality.

This girl, she was talking about mastering a transcendent state as simply as if she was asking to buy some vegetables from the market.

In any case, this was a good fight. Both he and the high ranking knights learned something. For him, his [Divine Rememberance] became more complete. As it holds all the experience of his battles like an archive, today’s experience was sure to come in handy in the future.

Thanks to the battle between the Commander and the Holy Knights, the knights and squires were unable to focus on their own battles. Nevertheless, simply by watching so many high ranking knights fight, they learned a lot of things.

.

After dispersing the knights for the day, he came to his office. Waiting for him in her well fitted dress that accentuated her soft, voluminous curves and her skirt that highlighted her smooth, sexy legs was Melissa.

The moment he came in, she gave him the look.

”Lord Reinhardt, I know it’s important to train. However, you should also look at the time. Today is an important day, or have you forgotten?” She huffed, her face angry as she pushed her cleavage towards him.

That’s right, today was indeed an important day. Today was supposed to be the day when they would finally break down that lousy wall Baron Chetak built that separated the central district from the other regions of the city.

As bad in taste as it was, it took time to come to a decision to break it. After all, it might create many disturbances and inconvenience for the central district people.

However, now that the relationship between the people of both districts had smoothed out a little and the outer district no longer looked like a slum, there was no need for this wall.

And so, today was the day the contractors were supposed to bring down this wall. But that cannot begin without his permission and supervision first. No wonder this woman, who was always strict with time and schedule, was so angry.

”The outer gate is at least three miles from here. Even if we head out now, it takes at least half an hour by carriage to reach that place. Of course, that is given if we do not have traffic”...

”Given how the population of the city is increasing with others moving over here from other regions, the streets are tightly packed with carriges at this time. It would definitely take us over two hours. Delay in plans results in added costs. Lord Reinhardt, even if you have plenty of money, you shouldn’t...”

Melissa started nagging. Well, she was giving him a good view of her cleavage and the slight glimpse of her bra which was black today, so he had no complaints. However...
