The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 169: Chapter 169- Date or Work?! (3)

The distance that usually takes him five minutes was covered in one minute this time. Reinhardt carrying Melissa, landed on the balcony of their office.

”Are you alright?”

Slowly, he tried to put her down; however, the woman’s legs which had almost turned jelly, had no strength and collapsed on the ground.

Reinahrdt hurriedly helped her. Though when doing so, his hand unwittingly touched areas that they shouldn’t.

”Ngh~” A slight moan escaped her lips.

The softness of her big breasts was fully transmitted to him through his palm. Every time he tried to move or help Melissa up, they would inevitably end up getting kneaded.

And so for the time being, Reinhardt and Melissa stood in that promiscuous position for some time. Finally, when it seemed like some strength returned to her, she gave him a slightly resentful look and returned to her usual, composed self.

”Lord Reinhardt, let’s head for the meeting immediately.”

Acting as if it didn’t bother her, she turned around and opened the door, leading him towards the meeting hall where the guests were waiting for him.

Sun set down, and night rolled in. Inside the mansion, in her own personal room, Melissa lay on top of her bed in her undergarments. That sensual body that was usually covered by her clothes, was at this moment, exposed.

Her voluptuous curves were simply mesmerising, her slender waist a feast for the eye, and her flat stomach picturisque.

Meslisa continued to lie there on her bed in lingerie, thinking over the events of the day. Suddenly, a crimson flush appeared on her skin, and her hands inadvertently moved towards her nether region.

In a while, a beautiful melody started ringing inside her room along with a wet squelching noise.

”Ahhh... Uhnn... A-Ah-Ah... Aaaah... Mnggh~...”

Just as she was getting into the mood, a peculiar sound suddenly rang out, disturbing her mood. Immediately, she opened her wardrobe and took the thing making the noise. It was a communication device that her father gave her when he ordered her to spy on Reinhardt.

Click... the moment she pressed the button on the device, a voice came from the other side.

”You are late to report today. Did anything happen?” The man did not mask any words and got straight to business.

”N-Nothing. It got late due to work, I was just thinking of calling you, father”.

”I see. Well give me your report. How goes the progress?”

At this moment, Melissa’s expression changed.

”Yes, the Divine Paladin commenced the training of his knights as usual. Then went on to monitor the city he is governing. After that, he met with guests and nobles that came from the other city...”

Her report went on for a long time, detailing each aspect of the Divine Paladin’s day.

”That will be enough. Surprisingly, he is living a normal lifestyle. Isn’t there anything that could be of use to us?”

Melissa thought for a while before remembering how everyone was talking about the events from this morning.

”Ah, the Divine Paladin battled his Holy Knights today as a form of training”.

”What? Give me more details on that. What kind of skills does he have, how many and how strong are they?” The voice from the other side got a little frantic at the mention of Divine Paladin fighting.

”About that, I did not witness the event myself. However, he does train every morning. There will be another chance”.

”Good, keep making progress like that. Show him your meticulousness, earn his trust. At that time, he will definitely reveal key information to you.”

That was all from the man she called her father. Right after that, he hung up before she could even initiate some idle talk with him.

Sigh... She sighed and flopped on the bed. Her upraised butt making a soul stirring shape. These past few weeks, she had indeed worked meticulously and earned his trust. Even today, when they went to inspect the city, he was talking to her with a smile.

Not only that, he was much friendlier with her than he was a month ago. The mission that her father gave her was going smoothly. However, why is it that every time she thought about trying to betray that man, she would feel unsettled?

Unable to understand, she could only take her anger out on the bed with her shapely legs.

”About what father said about Reinhardt... a man who is solely devoted to his goals. Well, it does seem like that.”

After living in this city for a while, she was starting to understand why the legends about the Divine Paladin were so exaggerated.

It was not that the rumours were overblown; no, far from it, every single thing they said about him was true. A man who was chosen by the old gods to lead the world, a living legend, and a hero.

It was all true, Reinhardt didn’t look like a man who was interested in anything else other than his goals. However, was she mistaken when she sensed some emotions within him when he touched her breasts and thighs like that?

As soon as that thought arrived in her mind, she quickly discarded it. The situations at those times were all inevitable. It was just a simple contact and nothing to be flustered about.

That’s right, as his secretary working in the same office, their hands and bodies were bound to come in contact. The Divine Paladin’s impassive face also suggested that he thought of this as nothing out of normal.

”You could have at least shown a flustered face... ” She pouted and kicked the bed once again.

And so, while agonising over the events of the day, she fell asleep.

In Reinhardt’s room, a shadow materialised, turning into a sexy, busty assassin.

”Did you find out who sent her?” At his question, Karina nodded her head.

”It appears that she was sent here by her father. Their goal still seems to be unknown. However, the person in that peculiar device was interested in knowing your powers”.
